One of the most ghetto 24hrs I’ve ever been to. The jacuzzi wasn’t working and was overflowing as usual (It always has problems apparently). There was pee on the stairs, the night shift worker wasn’t there so I had no one to report these issues to, there were some baby dolls near the pool area? (Creepy)

The list goes on. And apparently you’ve got homeless people sleeping in the basketball court now. Not sure if that’s a product of this location being near downtown but I wouldn’t go here unless I absolutely had to. The location near in the heights is way better.

I’ve been really impressed with this 24 Hour Fitness. The place is always clean and well organized, and they have every piece of equipment you could possibly need. I hate having to give such a low rating. I agree with all the reviews about Banks- she was great. But it stopped there.

We are only on town for 6 weeks bc my husband has stage IV cancer and is getting treated at the medical center. We went in there explaining the situation and how since my husband has no testosterone due to treatments, we really need someone who understands this and can help.
It was suggested he go with Mike. Not great. Mike spent a lot of time taking about what a great sales guy he was and clearly didn't seem to grasp my husband's medical needs. Then it was just so about pushing a contract, even though we said multiple times we weren't in town long.
On top of that, the appt got moved twice so that was annoying.
Since that day, they keep calling to see if we would sign up after saying no.
And lastly, I got a day pass and I thought the free weight area was really run down. Only 1 set of 15lbs?? And it took me a full 3ins to find 10lbs to go on my bar.

Considering the neighborhood this place is in, it was really disappointing.

PS- I would seriously consider the validity of the recent reviews. Everyone was "awesome" or "great". It's essentially the same review over and over by different names.

Kevin, the store manager, was very helpful in addressing my concerns about the parking situation, especially after reading some reviews about car break-ins. I was pleased to learn that there’s now a new security company, with a security guard patrolling the parking lot and a security truck driving around regularly. This makes me feel very safe, especially with all the working security cameras throughout the gym.

Signing up for a membership was quick and easy. I’ve been to the gym three times this week and have really enjoyed my workouts and the friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Hadn’t been to this location in years. Decided to give it a try since I wanted to introduce a few family members to 24Hour Fitness. When we arrived, Blake’s was very helpful and assisted in getting them right on in. I honestly thought all the locations closed early. I was surprised to see this location still has the regular hours. Anyway, the gym is very spacious! No crowding whatsoever although there were a lot of people there. I love how they have each floor sectioned off to help with what areas of exercise you are targeting for the day. I guess I’ll be driving in from Katy now. It was definitely worth it. Thanks Blakes!

I’ve been a loyal member of 24 Hour Fitness for quite some time—my family even has two memberships—but after my recent experience, I’m seriously reconsidering if it’s worth continuing. The customer service was extremely poor. The staff on the evening of 10/16 was unwilling to accommodate my needs and spoke in a demanding, almost demeaning tone.

It’s disappointing, especially given how outdated this gym already feels compared to others. We previously had memberships with Fitness Connection, and their staff was so much friendlier and more professional. Loyalty should count for something, but it’s clear that at 24 Hour Fitness, it doesn’t.

I am new to this area of town and I have started going to this location more often.  My normal club is undergoing some changes - I'm not amenable to change most time and  I have been pleasantly surprised by the service and amenities offered by the club.  I tend to come in the evenings, as of late and I have no problem with waiting for equipment, etc.  They have plentiful cardio equipment on the top level, an expansive weight and strength training area on another level and the pool/sauna/steam room setup on the ground floor.

One special note/staff shoutout...because I come after work, I    have been greeted by Christian's smiling face and pleasant attitude.  He helped navigating the setup and has been a wealth of knowledge during our quick chats.

Take my word for it---check out this location if you're looking for an upgrade!
