Space is very limited outside of the basketball court area honestly, but that itself may keep some people away so it's not always busy unlike Warrior way. Really appreciate the 24 hour access and the amount of barbell racks. They have a lot of variety of machines as well. Plan to run outside as I have seen one treadmill around downstairs if you get lucky to snag that. Obviously the pool is available as another form of cardio though!

Literally the worst gym on base. It offers nothing but a pool and basketball court, has little to no equipment, and that’s if it’s even functioning. Equipment stays broken for months. Skip this gym and go to Warriors or Crunch.

A Quiet Gem. Abrams Gym is perfect if you like a quiet, uncrowded workout. The restrooms are always clean, and the staff is consistently nice. While the equipment selection isn't huge, it's usually everything I need. If you want a peaceful, clean, and friendly gym, Abrams Gym is a great choice.

•The machine has been down since 12 July 24. It was identified as to be removed/replaced on 10 Dec 24. Is this ever going to happen?

Sauna is good but the leg press has been down for almost a year the cable machine is back up in the outside gym the construction workers installed the seat for the row machine backwards so it's useless. The pool is always closed I think swim lessons are 55 USD and they start around 15:00(3pm),16:00(4pm),17:00(5pm)

Good place to go to swim in nice swimming pool, and shoot hoops in huge indor basketball court. No point of going to lift weights though, as weight rooms are tiny with alot of people using weights and you have to wait in line.

This is my "Go to" gym! I love it here not too crowded and the staff is always friendly. They have a cardio room, weight machine rooms, and free weight rooms. They also have a huge basketball court, a swimming pool and hand ball courts which I have not utilized but they seem very nice. This location also has 2 co-ed saunas just make sure you bring your shower shoes or sandles!

This was my favorite gym until they decreased the weekday hours and enacted unreasonable rules regarding the sauna, got rid of some of the necessary lifting machines (such as the hamstring curl). Bring back the later night hours and the weight machines needed for a full body workout, fix equipment in a reasonable amount of time (some machines have been down for 6months), and quit with the ridiculous and nonsensical sauna rules that no other gym I have ever been to pushes.

The gym has a big theft problem. Kids come in groups walk around the gym take peoples belongings and leave while they’re in the middle of game, taking a shower, or trying to get a good workout in. 2 out of 3 times I’ve been here I’ve had something stolen. Both times were on the weekends when kids were out of school. Just wanted to warn people thanks!

Good size and I like the indoor pool but I always figured it would have been bigger. I heard about it before coming to Fort Hood and was kinda let down when arriving and seeing that it really ain't that much to it. The Gyms in Fort Bliss and Fort Wainwright are better. Sorry. Still a great Gym.
