Erica is an amazing trainer — and honestly, my therapist in the gym! Our sessions are the highlight of my week. She creates such a comfortable, uplifting space where I can completely de-stress from my corporate work life and focus on feeling strong and grounded.

I’ve been training with Erica for about a year now, and she continues to challenge me in the best ways. I love how she truly understands women’s needs and designs her programs to help us feel confident, capable, and in tune with our bodies. Her knowledge of nutrition and helping you eat right without feeling like you’re on a diet is amazing — it’s all about balance and sustainable habits, not restriction.

Her new studio is the perfect place to reset, move, and get real-time feedback on form and progress. Working with Erica has transformed my confidence, strength, and mindset — both inside and outside the gym. I can’t recommend her enough!

I really enjoyed being trained by Erica! She always had a great positive attitude even at 5:30 AM lol She was extremely knowledgeable provided plenty of tips that I still carry with me. She was very encouraging and pushed me in a gentle manner. After only a few weeks my clothes were fitting different. I’ll forever be grateful to her for being so instrumental in my fitness journey. She equipped me with knowledge of exercises, but more importantly form! Before Erica I would only do cardio at the gym like the treadmill. Now I am confident enough to walk into a gym and weight lift. I highly recommend her!!

Erica is amaaaaazzzinggg ❤️ I've been training with Erica for 3 months. When I started I could barely do lunges, and now I can't believe how strong I feel 😊 I've gone up
significantly in weight in almost all of the exercises, and she is consistently modifying my programs to better suit my progression. She is amazing company too, l've absolutely LOVED my sessions with her. She pushes me hard, yet somehow we can laugh and talk about life, goals, etc. She is all about women empowerment, and I think that's exactly what I've needed in my life! 10/10 Erica is the real deal, go see her and you WILL become a stronger, more confident version of yourself!!

I moved to Austin in March and was looking for a way to get back into weight lifting after the strain the pandemic put on me and my body. I wasn't feeling confident in my body or my ability to train it and I wanted to work with a professional who would ensure that I was working out all muscle groups and not just hitting my favorite exercises/glam muscles. Training with Erica in her clean and private studio allowed me take my mind off of the planning and organizing and trust that my body was in good hands. It is a safe and non-judgmental place that didn't make me feel intimidated or more self-conscious like weightlifting environments tend to be. The studio was located conveniently on the East Side in a cute neighborhood and I always had fun during my sessions. She is charming, funny, warm, and grounded. I genuinely feel like she cares about me and my life. Erica and her support staff member Veronica always went out of their way to be kind and accommodating, ensuring that I never missed a beat even if my schedule was hectic.

When I first started with Erica I was at a low point with my health and fitness ability. Erica met me there and assisted me with understanding the fundamentals as well as unlearning some of the toxicity that comes with the fitness industry, especially geared towards women. I love being able to work one on one with Erica in a private studio - not only for the covid safety benefit but for the positive non-judgmental environment. My 5am work outs are tough, but Erica's energy and knowledge make it worth it. I am grateful to have such an awesome human assist me in living a healthier lifestyle.

I starting working with Erica in the midst of a significant transition in my life. Needless to say, I was feeling uncertain of my future but feeling the pull towards taking back ownership of my health and fitness. I firmly believe I met Erica at the right time.

She truly embodies her mission statement of empowering women in their fitness journey. I left feeling stronger than ever both physically and mentally. Wow! I am blown away by Erica and so grateful to work with her on my health and fitness journey. I’m already well versed in fitness- or so I thought- and thought I just needed someone to hold me more accountable and show me some kickass workouts. What I got was way beyond what I expected. It turns out I had no idea how important nutrition was (or really much on the subject at all despite buying organic and eating fresh food much of the time lol) to achieving my goals and I learned so much applicable knowledge that I will keep for the rest of my life. Erica’s focus on inputs and effort (rather than outcomes/results) is more effective and empowering - I ended up having better outcomes than I expected very quickly once I got my habits and nutrition dialed in and I felt great doing it rather than focusing on a number on a scale - it was definitely empowering and not to mention fun, to work with her and I hope if you’re considering it you’ll pull the trigger- it’s worth it and I’m so happy I prioritized myself!

I was always intimidated by a gym, not knowing how to use the equipment. When I hired Erica from Thicc Mamis Fit Lab, her energy made me feel like I could be the confident person I know I am capable of and that I would actually hit my fit goals. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with my session and my body as it got stronger. She is unlike any other trainer, she empowers you to feel good about the process not just the end results. Her Fitness lab is such a vibe and I love that it's just for 1:1, no one else but us for the time I paid for. There is nothing like this in Austin and so thankful to find a place and coach for my fitness life.
