it’s was so much fun! it’s not too hot that you can’t enjoy it but it looks so pretty when you can see the sunlight starting to come out and the poses are not too hard so very beginner friendly

I have come to a few sessions and they are amazing!! Very well led by Ricky, you can tell he truly cares about teaching yoga and the many benefits aside from physical. Its been a real positive change in my life to start coming and the fact that it is free makes it so accessible. I plan to come again and again and I’ve told all my friends they need to check it out!

Addison Circle Yoga has truly become the highlight of my week! Their free yoga classes at Addison Circle Park every Wednesday and Saturday are a gift to the community. The setting is beautiful(what could be better than blue sky above, and green lawn underneath?!), the atmosphere is welcoming, and most importantly—the instructor, Ricky, is incredible.
Ricky is not only highly knowledgeable yogi, he also has a calm, grounded presence that makes everyone feel at ease—whether you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned practitioner. His teaching is accessible, thoughtful, and deeply supportive. Every class feels like an invitation to connect—both with yourself and with those around you.
There’s a special community vibe that flows through each session—something I could never quite capture practicing alone in my home studio. You can truly feel the supportive energy weaving through the group, creating a sense of unity and shared purpose.
If you’re looking for a warm, inclusive, and empowering yoga experience, Addison Circle Yoga with Ricky is where you want to be. I can’t recommend it enough!

Usually, you’d have to pay a premium for a yoga workshop to get this level of instruction. He took the time to break down the details of how to properly hold poses, offering clear guidance throughout. He was also very mindful to provide modifications for specific groups, whether you’re pregnant or dealing with low back limitations ensuring everyone could safely participate. It’s amazing that all of this was offered free. Thank you. 🙏

I just found out about Addison Circle's free yoga in the park and it's riiiiight up my alley💖🧘🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️ Gorgeous park, fun instructor, challenging but non-intimidating moves, a short meditation at the end of class, and matcha just a few feet away at Java and Hopps! Perfection!! My new fixation for sure 😊

Great teacher and a good pace. Ricky _teaches_ vs just _instructs_ - there is a lot of "why" behind what you are doing. It helps to have some familiarity with yoga but if you are just beginning this can help you get oriented a bit too.

Thank you, Ricky you introduced me to the discipline of yoga. It’s not contortions or theatrics. It’s strength, listening to your body and challenging your mind. It’s not just physical.
