Nicole, a divine being, graces us with her instructions in this aerial yoga class. Her instructions are clear, and her gentle demeanor puts everyone at ease. Her attentiveness and awareness creates a safe and comforting space for all.
The only challenge one might face is trusting oneself. Embark on this transformative journey of self-exploration by trusting your own abilities. Allow this class to be your first step towards self-discovery.

horrible experience on 7/16/24 !!!
we booked for 10a 7/16. we booked 2 days in advance. we arrived @9:55 to no instructor/no one on site. (online says to arrive early & no eating 2hrs beforehand).
-booking email had no contact info so i called via website number.
owner answered, said an instructor was “on the way” was “running late” & would be bringing her baby to the class. we were allowed to go inside & “wait”.
*we waited for 45 minutes
this is a instructor led class, so self taught aeriel yoga was not an option/not what we paid for.
10:20, 10:30, 10:45a passes. no communication. no instructor. nothing. i call back, no answer. I text from my phone & we leave @10:47a, no update/response from owner.
my bff calls from her phone 11:05a, we get an answer.
“the instructor can’t do 11a only 1p, my bad”
our class was for 10a-11a. we have other bday plans. we can not come back later. we’ve wasted our morning, we’re starving; my friend also has to breastpump. we express this to owner.
“we offer no refunds, the only option is to come back later or do a virtual session”
“happy birthday”
we expressed we were from out of state for a short time& those options wouldn’t accommodate us. we wanted a refund. we didn’t receive any service.
still the same response.
I would give 0 stars.
it was my bffs bday, i’m from out of town, im also a RYT 250 (yoga teacher) so i understand things change & was trying to “wait it out” as not to shift into a negative mood/divert our days plans & to support a business.
-however, 45 min w no communication is unacceptable & unprofessional.
-yoga & self care is about accommodation, calmness, mindfulness; we experienced the opposite.
-any business (small or big) is a business to serve others & support others in choosing your business for a service. we’re human to human & anything can be worked through w conversation. this business was not willing to accommodate their mistakes nor offer flexibility after requesting the same from us when they were late. They were reactively communicating (they didnt proactively reach out to us at all, just responded to us) & hung up on us when we expressed that we didn’t have time to come back at 1p, left & wanted our money back.
****leaving this thoughtful review for those to research other yoga spaces in Houston w different protocols, practices, & procedures for a beautiful yoga experience.

Experience was horrible. I drove 30 mins to get to the studio and the instructor did not answer my calls or text until hours later when i set an appointment on the website . I still yet to receive my refund. Very unprofessional.

I started practicing at Aerial Yoga Houston in 2021, after suffering from chronic back pain for 15 years. After once a weekly classes (for a month) my back pain was gone, and I haven't had pain since! Aerial Yoga Houston has great instructors, the owner, Nicole is fantastic! It's also great for strength, core, and flexibility (I am 45 years-old, six feet tall, and can touch the floor with my palms)! I should mention that Aerial Yoga is a lot of fun and great for the mood!

This charming space inspired me to take my yoga practice into a new direction! Getting upside down so fun and the owner, Nicole, is such a talented teacher. She knows her way around the silks so well, gives great instruction and is incredibly supportive and encouraging to go beyond what you think you might be capable of. Highly recommend for anyone - especially those wanting to try something new and/or take your current athletic practice in a whole new direction!

I’ve always wanted to try aerial yoga, and this did not disappoint! It was refreshing, the instructor is incredibly warm and welcoming. I got overwhelmed at first because I am actually afraid of heights (though I wasn’t expecting THIS to trigger that fear, haha!) but she was incredibly encouraging and I was able to combat my fears. As a previous review also mentioned, I had some pain with a couple of poses, just from the sensation of the silks holding me up against gravity - but I am also a heavier body type so I found that to be expected. I know it is something I will get used to and I am really looking forward to my next session!

OMG!!! The best vibe ever! Nicole and Sheeva are both phenomenal and patient teachers of Ariel yoga. They both will meet you at your comfort zone and then will guide you outside of that zone! Before you know it, you’re in the air! I love love every class!! Can’t wait to the next one!

The instructor here was awful. I was scared because it was my first time doing yoga and instead of being welcoming, she pushed me over and made me do it.

I loved the class over the weekend. The instructor took a lot of time working with each individual and with their limitations. It was so intimate and almost more of a 1:1 with the class size. Wonderful way to stretch and learn trust. This is a go to fun experience in Houston!

Such a unique experience! The instructor Nicole is very welcoming and accommodating! The small class size allows for the instructor to give anyone there plenty of help/attention throughout the class. If the class is full you might bump into another hammock every now and then since the space was small. If you’ve never experienced aerial yoga before, be mindful that gravity plays a big factor - there will be some tension/pressure from where the silk is wrapping around you (neck, hips, back, shoulders, etc.) and that may be painful for some. As a plus size body it took some getting use to but after that I loved it! Highly recommend!

I highly doubt this instructor is certified.
Some poses were placing too much pressure on the neck area or curving the spine in a risky way. Either she she’s really bad at it or she doesn’t know what she’s doing. You can really hurt yourself attending her class.
Me and my friends left with headaches, nausea and pain in our bodies
Her hands on assist were very aggressive, she was pushing my knee past hyperextension
Her instructions were unclear, her cadence was too loud and tense, even in savasana
She “blames” you for not doing the pose correctly rather than help you get there
The music was not appropriate to the flow, she came in unprepared
This is not just bad, it’s unsafe and can put you up to injury.

Just had my first class this weekend. Definitely a much different experience than traditional floor yoga, which I have been doing for 4+ years. But I really enjoyed it! Nicole was great at cueing and encouraging. I definitely recommend the small class format for your first few times, until you get the hang of it. A little sore the day after, but my posture/back feels a lot better. I will be back!

I've been coming for 10 months. The instructors and owner are so friendly and care about their students. These classes not only helped me gain strength but have also helped me gain confidence. The classes are also great for relieving stress.

Just had my first class, it was fun, the instructor was very friendly and patience. It was a small class, just the 4 of us, so almost like a private class. 👍

Aerial yoga is a really interesting experience and I enjoyed it quite a bit, but be careful doing business with this company. I've been trying to contact them for 2 days via phone and email about a simple billing mistake and I haven't been able to get a hold of them.
Update: a few minutes after I posted this, I got a return call. They aren't honoring the BOGO that was verbally offered to me when I paid cash earlier this week, but instead are encouraging me to purchase *another* class and hope for the BOGO to work on that one. :-/
