This place closes the class and will not let you in even If you are on time and they still charge you for the class. The dance classes are impossible to follow. They also make it very hard to cancel your membership, and charge you for 60 days after you cancel. There are also not many classes to choose from and some days there are only two schedule classes.

Nothing else like this in Houston! I take the Bands class that is a great aerobic workout with some added resistance. The trainers are very professional, friendly and have great energy. Shout out to trainer Amanda for always keeping it fun!

AKT is the best!! In particular, the Bands class. I always get a great total body workout and it's a super fun format. If you haven't tried it, highly recommend!! All of the instructors are terrific and very welcoming, will definitely be back!!

I just went to my first tone class and the staff is genuinely so nice. I loved that this particular class was low impact but I felt sore afterward so I felt like it was a good workout. Shout out to the instructor Mandie who prepared a great workout and to the general manager who was so welcoming! AKT is an excellent studio.

I have been a member at AKT since moving to Houston in January. I cannot say enough positive things about the instructors, workouts, management and members. I have struggled in the past to find a place that I actually look forward to going to to get my workout in. I found that place at AKT! The workouts are so much fun, I actually forget that Iβm working out! Katie (manager) had been so accommodating with my complicated schedule. Heather, Lamar, Mandie and Amanda (instructors) are all so great! They each have tons of personality and are so motivating and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough. Iβll be a member here for life!

This is the only workout that I've stuck with! The trainers are energetic, the classes are fun, and you get an amazing workout. I love that the content changes every 3 weeks so I never get bored and that you are able to make modifications based on what your body can do. The community itself is also amazing where everyone supports one another. Love it!!

I LOVE AKT!!
The classes are challenging in the best way. The trainers and team are super friendly and are very encouraging no matter what level you may currently be at. And if you commit to a regular schedule, KNOW that you and others WILL see a change in your appearance, strength and abilities. Great all the way around, thanks AKT!!! I emailed twice about why I was charged for another month of membership despite being told I would not be if I cancelled more than 30 days in advance, which I did. I asked for a copy of the contract and I still have not been contacted back, although generally I had no previous issues with communication with this place on other matters in the past. I feel sad that this is how my experience ended with this place, as I had planned to return as a non-member but unsure that I will now after how this situation is being handled. I generally advise people to stay away from studios that make membership cancelling a difficult experience.

Iβve been a member with AKT for a few months now and itβs hand down my favorite place Iβve ever worked out. The instructors and members are all so welcoming and friendly! Iβve worked out at other places where it feels very clique-ish, but not at AKT. Their classes are great for everyone from beginner to advanced. They have 4 types of classes (dance, bands, circuit, tone) and the content changes every 3 weeks. Iβve definitely noticed myself getting stronger and having more endurance. They always have fun incentives to get you motivated to come to class like themed music and dress up days. Iβve seriously never been the type of person to be so obsessed with working out until AKT. Come try a complimentary intro class and get hooked! ππ€

I joined AKT 2 months ago and I love it! I look forward to the classes - fabulous instructors, 4 types of classes (Dance is my favorite) and the content changes every 3 weeks. I noticed increased strength, conditioning and muscle tone in just a few weeks!

I was curious about the band class. So I took the β beginnersβ class and realized it was not for me. However it is a great workout if you like pure aerobics with the use of strength band. There is alot of jumping around and moving at an extremely fast pace. It is really not for the faint of heart.

Hands down a great group fitness experience for me! I have been in the fitness industry for 12 years. Taught classes, Personal Trained, and coached. I have taken so many group fitness classes, AKT is on my top three lists. The excersice style are workouts of college and professional athletes incorporated into short circuit/HIIT. Challenging, new, and made fun. All age-groups attended the classes, modifications for low impact when needed. Definitely full body result oriented workouts. This was the Tone and Circuit class. You'll use modern-day fun equipment.
