We love this gym. It's our home away from home. The coaches are incredible and show up for our kids on and off the mats, the other families are great, and the kids work hard and support each other. Great gym for kids and adults of all ages. Our 5 year old is in the little kids class and our 10 year old is in the big kids / comp class. Best gym around! When I moved to Fort Worth almost 2 years ago, I scouted numerous jiujitsu and wrestling gyms for my kiddos, as I'm very picky and have high standards. Hands down the best MMA gym in DFW.
We have been to other gyms that have no code of conduct or structure in their youth classes. At All American everyone on staff seems so knowledgeable about what kids need to develop and succeed. I have A 4 year old boy who thrives under positive instruction here. A 9 year old wrestler who has been in the sport for 3 years. His confidence and technique have sky rocketed since joining this gym and management. Very pleased for youth developing at all ages and into adulthood.

We loved coach Rocky and everything he stands for but unfortunately when he went out of town some other coaches and their children felt empowered to tell my daughter who has been in jujitsu since she was 5 that she didn't belong at this gym. Yes we missed some classes (even though we paid). But did you take the time to ask why? No. You automatically thought she didn't belong here. You and your children bullied my daughter to where she didnt want to come again. Be more compationate. It's not allows about the wins. It's about being accepted. Take the time to learn about your students. The only reason why I didn't give a 1 star was because of Coach Rocky.

I can only speak for the Saturday morning boxing class in this review, as it’s the only one I’ve attended. I’ve been boxing for a decade and I have NEVER had my tail kicked in a boxing workout like this before. Ever. The warmup alone, is enough to make most dad bods cry 😢 😂😂

Great coaching Rocky and coach Ivan are great with children. One thing about this gym and especially coach Ivan is that they do not tolerate bad apples. The gyms we have been to in the past did not check the students when they needed it.... children would bully or single out new kids. There is camaraderie at this gym. Coach Ivan and Rocky both discipline when needed. I appreciate structure while also having caring intentions. I would highly recommend if you are looking to advance bjj/mma.

LOVE THIS GYM! All the coaches are great especially Coach Clark! Please go check them out. Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough. My 9 year old loves wrestling now because of them. Coach Clark coaches at Trinity High School as well and I have never met more well mannered and respectable kids. You can tell what kind of coach he is by their behavior. Five-and-a-half years in and I still can't say enough good things about All American MMA and BJJ. When I started here in June 2014 I was 37 years old; 35-40 lbs heavier than I am now; and knew absolutely zero about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Now at age 43, I have kept the weight off; stayed in shape; and continue to learn something new and progress in my knowledge and practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with each session. Every bit of that is due of the incredible group of people that created and run All American MMA & BJJ.

Ivan, Rocky, Travis, and Kimmo are all incredible instructors who created a great facility with the space and equipment to learn BJJ, Muay Thai, & boxing. They all have a very deep knowledge of martial arts and are able to expertly teach to anyone willing to learn; from adults with years of experience all the way to kids who have never done any sort of martial arts. And speaking of that: they have a really great kids program too! Two years ago I added my son and daughter to the kids BJJ program, and they have been learning and staying active ever since.

So if you have been looking to get in shape; challenge yourself to learn something new; or are looking to make good on that New Year's fitness Resolution to get and stay active, you should definitely check this place out.

My kids and I love this place! It has changed all of our lives. My son and daughter have grown in skill but know this a life long journey. My daughter has turn into a more secure, respectful young lady thanks to the coaches. My son, although still a typical boy at times in class. I have been to a couple gyms around the DFW area, and the one where I felt most at home was All American MMA. There are all types of characters you will meet, the instructors are charismatic about what they do, and you can't help but look around at the different classes going on in this gym and feel extremely motivated to push yourself. My first Jui Jitsu class ever at the gym was taught by Dominic Cure, and what made me realize I loved the place immediately was when after we were done with our small class, it had been a weekday at about 1:30pm, we sat in a circle and practiced breathing exercises. As we were inhaling the 'positive' and exhaling the 'negative', Dominic instructed us to think of something we were appreciative about with every breath we took. It was such an enlightening and positive experience for me, that I have stuck it out with these guys ever since. It is now 5 months later, and I still don't regret my decision. It's definitely a family friendly place, as I do work out with my mother, my step father, my little sister, as well as my cousin. I am a begginer that had only done one jiu jitsu class at another gym. I had the best time and learned a ton in just my first week!
