Recently started coming back here, and has been a great experience, especially since the gym has been updated along with equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful, and price is not unnecessary. Convenient location, open 24hrs, and worth every dollar. No hidden fees or bells and whistles with this gym, you get exactly what you pay for in the best ways.

Never too overcrowded, everyone I have seen comes in, does their routine, and leaves, which is a great experience.

Great old school lifting gym in a smaller town. Good community, easy access, friendly staff and owners. They work to keep thebplace clean, continuously improve the building and equipment, fix things quickly when they break, and pay attention to every message I send if something is off. We have been nothing but happy with this place..

Do not get a membership here ! So many better gyms in the area this place is not worth your money. Constantly dirty equipment, and so many hidden fees. Save your time and energy and go somewhere else !

I recently joined this gym because I wanted to support local businesses. I have noticed the equipment in the cardio room needs to be wiped down, they are visibly dirty. The temperature of the gym is 🥵!!. I feel like there is NO AC in there. I don’t even want to go in when it’s hot outside, we do live in TX, AC is important in a gym. Staff is very nice and I do like coming here other than the few things I see can be improved.

EDIT- I'm changing the score from a 2 star to a 4 because they updated their equipment, worked on their facilities, and are working at cracking down on all of the young kids bringing 5+ of their friends in. You can really see the effort and the place looks great. The staff is still lack luster, and if they fix that this place will be perfect.

All star has a lot of space and a great location, so I feel like that's how they retain a lot of their business. Their equipment is old, which normally isn't a problem, but in this case it's bad enough to where it sometimes affects the lifts/activities that you're doing. I understand the idea "if it isn't broken, why fix it?" but in reality some of the stuff is broken/ in the act of breaking and should be fixed. The gym has a lot of equipment and charm

They could buy a lot of good will back if their customer service was great but they've unfortunately shown that this is not the case. I had a little bit of a confrontation with the ownership and that interaction is really the basis for my review. I really want to like this place more because it's so conveniently located

The gym itself was good. Some of the equipment Is aged but it still worked. The main issue is I feel like I was taken advantage of and stolen from. To explain. I emailed to end my subscription in February, responded and the cancelation was complete. April came around, I was charged again. I emailed and she offered to refund me, but we didn't have the same cash transfer service. However, she never responded to complete a refund transaction. I gave them a chance and responded myself that I would bite the bullet as long as she canceled future payments. At this time she said she removed my card information from the system.

Here I am in may, with yet another charge from allstarfitness. I have email proof (of cancelation) to give to my bank to handle this as fraud. Now I'm irritated because I have to change my debit card and re-establish all of my bill payments. Was this intentional? I'm not sure, it certainly feels like it was intentional. (You removed my card information from the system, yet we were charged again in may?) Paints a picture of theft and crookedness to me. Not really ranting, this is just what happened. I already gave them one chance, no third chances for this.

I have been going to this gym for a little over 5 years now and have zero complaints. The staff is respectful and courteous, the gym is clean and stocked with a multitude of different equipment, and the other gym-goers are pleasant to be around. The staff addresses any concerns brought to their attention, from malfunctioning equipment to disorderly individuals who attend when the staff is not present. The gym is 24/7 and the staff does their best to make sure customers have access. During the previous ice storm, the area lost electricity and the roads were not easily traversed. The staff was still present and made sure customers had access even though the key cards weren't working due to the loss of power. Recently the management repainted the entire gym and added new equipment. Due to the variety of equipment in the gym, I have had no problem finding the machine I need. Different cardio equipment, a wide range of free weights, and a large quantity of cable machines make completing a versatile workout easy. As stated, I have attended this gym for 5 years and plan on attending for several more. I highly recommend All Star Fitness if you are looking for a solid gym with a solid staff!

I have been a member of this gym since i moved to Sanger 6yrs ago & been going off & on, but for some reason my key card has stopped working. I usually go at night when its less busy. I dont care for the layout of this gym, too many different rooms & the men's locker room is VERY SMALL. I only joined this gym because its close to home & its open 24hrs.

Super frustrated and annoyed with this gym. I have been going on and off for almost 5 years. Not the greatest gym (machines are older) and the staffed hours are hit or miss which results in a lot of rags and water bottles laying around the gym. I can look past all that though due to how convenient the location is. But then today struck and not only will I never go back to this gym I will not recommend it to anyone and here is why. I went to workout today and my key card has been deactivated and I have not had ANY contact from the gym about it happening or why. Total lack of customer service.

Honestly with it being so close. It’s nice. But the equipment is old. And it’s just to get by. The owners are great. And so is staff. If it wasn’t so convenient. I would go somewhere else.

Really have loved this gym. Good equipment that works, it's kept clean, all of the employees are really nice and the members are encouraging and friendly. They have a fantastic personal trainer as well, get yourself signed up with Eb for sure! Having had a membership at the only 2 gyms in Sanger, I would pick them over and over again.

Great Gym, not usually packed (which is awesome) has everything you need for almost any type of work outs.

BEWARE: When you cancel your membership none of the children they have employed know how to do it. You must e-mail the owner and directly make sure it happens. I got charged for 3 extra months because of sheer incompetency.

Multiple members not wearing gloves and using sanitizer after using equipment. At 10:00 am there was not staff in the building. I called the owner to report this and he hung up on me. This is why so many people are dying in Texas.

This place is now All Star Fitness and I literally love this gym. I was skeptical at first and hesitant to check it out. As soon as I walked through the door I fell in love. The layout of the equipment and free weights is awesome. Machines and benches are grouped together by muscle groups so it's very easy to get a superset or push pull workout in. If you're a lady, the dance and cardio rooms are separate from the weight room, very nice feature if you don't like being oogled at while getting your miles on the treadmill. Male and female locker rooms with a shower. The equipment is older but looks generally maintained and functional. This is a place to come and move steel and to get your workout on! It is not a health club or a place for selfie opportunities.
