Great service by staff!! Just one thing that I have noticed so far is that there is this older guy that comes in around 5-6 pm. He is about 5’11” around his 60s to 80s. Well I’ve been coming to this location for a long time but have been considering to change gyms because this older man keeps on spitting in the steam room and in the bathing rooms. I love to walk barefoot but I do not want to catch an infection from this guy. Please help to solve this problem!!

I always have a great experience here, the amenities are nice and no matter how many people are at the pool I still never feel over crowded.
We had an unfortunate situation today and the staff handled it so quickly and professionally, I had to come say thank you! We will definitely be back year after year!

Took my wife, daughters and mother-in-law to visit my family in Texas last week. My sister took us to her town club pool for swimming and fun. The facility was perfectly set up for children and safety. At the end of the day, however, I was changing in the men's room from trunks to street clothes and accidentally left my wedding ring on the sink. Someone came in and took it. As I went the the proper channels of management to supervisor for help. The person working as the leader and in charge was anything, but. There was NO show of concern or urgency from the supervisor, Austin to find out where my ring went or who took it. Fortunately, there was a life guard who made our problem, HIS! His name was Lincoln and GOD am I thankful that he was there because after about an hour and half of him going through options of where, how and who could have taken the ring...HE found it. There were over 200 people at the pool that day...Lincoln and his co life guard Addison were the ones to thank for finding my ring. ATC...if you're looking for 'real' leadership and take charge qualities...Lincoln and Addison are where you find it. Austin displayed zero leadership qualities in this situation. Great job, Lincoln and Addison.

Called to get information for a one month membership . Worried about some of the reviews. Employees on the phone was so stupid and had no knowledge of anything. Was like talking to a child that was not trained to be on the phone. Lost my investment in your gym. Do not come here. They are horrible to your kids at child care.

They just replaced a lot of the benches and racks on the weight room floor, which really shows how much they value a quality workout.

Janet is the whole reason I stay though. I wish all the employees in the childcare room were as good as her! She greets my son by name and is up and around. She genuinely shows that she cares! The others usually don’t acknowledge us when we enter the room (just blank stares 😅), they sit at the table looking less than thrilled about their job on a consistent basis. My son literally hates going in when he sees that it’s not Janet! I wish they’d put a little more effort to ensure parents that their children are in good hands! As someone who works in childcare myself, I suggest you work with your childcare staff on quality customer service to ensure that you continue to get that “best of Amarillo” award!

Give Janet a raise, she deserves it and I know many other members agree!

This location is closest to my house, so if not meeting a workout buddy on Cornell this is where I typically go. It’s convenient to the Colonies, Greenways, and Hillside Terrace. The front desk staff is typically friendly. My only qualm is from the naked eye the facility if very clean, however I often see members not wiping down machines after use and never see staff coming in to periodically clean. The Cornell location is constantly being wiped down by staff and members alike. Knowing this, I wipe down my machine before AND after when on Hillside.

The gym has all the equipment you would want. The locker rooms are very clean. You need to bring a lock if you want to use one of their open lockers which are free for day use. Classes are very popular here mainly for the lady’s. The swimming pool is mainly for small kids at this location and is open only during the summer as it is entirely outdoor. Child care also is available for a small fee. Top notch gym for working out.
