The manager hung up in my face because I wouldn’t let her talk over me. They’re also scamming lchildren out of their money and trying to signed them to collections. They signef my daughter up for two memberships. What she did not sign up for then continue to charge her and try to send her to collections at the same time. Along with the friendly faces like Emily at front desk and I had a decent conversation about the gym and everything it is in there she was professional and had a beautiful smile on her face and that’s will make you wanna come back for more

I have VIP member but I have not download the app to enter the gym door yet I didn’t know they charge to be access the door by App I went inside to ask the staff
( lady )to help me ,first thing she said can you come tomorrow I’m finished work she was so rough to me then I try my self to download App and try to open the door she stand inside chatting on her phone ignore me I try many time the door not open I stand outside cold waiting until she chat finish and came out to help me open the door so disappointed the gym is so good but they should consider to hire staff more friendly and take more responsibility, for sure I will cancel my membership and change to another place.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for 2 months and I am unable to get away from this predatory gym. The revamped section is small and out of service most times. The lighting is dim. The members are weird and the manager is always away and the front desk is run by kids that have no idea what they are doing.

I have never written a review but damn One star is me being generous. This has to be the worst gym in Copperfield area and I haven't even stepped foot into it. Even 24 hour fitness is better and that gym is so outdated. To start off this gym right off the rip was having plumbing issues a leak in the ceiling, the women's restrooms weren't working, I don't understand how if they had just recently opened it must've been the Cheap builders they hired. Mind you they kept delaying their grand opening, It was set on one date and the gym didn't even open until like 2 months later. Not only that but they never mentioned an 86$ charge once the gym opened, I was under the impression the first month was 1$ then here came the $86 dollar charge. Then when I tried to cancel the membership by sending a letter, they claim they never received it. Which was impossible since I sent my letter along with my significant others, his membership was cancelled but mine magically wasn't. I requested a refund for the most recent charge and I have to wait to hear from a regional manager, I already know they'll either deny the claim or the manager won't reach out.

The gym itself is great! The layout, different room options and equipment. Aside from at least one or two things being broken every time I've gone. Including things in the revamped area that I specifically pay extra for. But what absolutely sucks is the weekday management and evening staff. The manager is obviously an inexperienced young woman without any true management background (it's obvious by her lack of knowledge in certain situations) who stands in the corner of the front desk area, doesn't greet anyone, doesn't smile, just looks miserable. The other staff members just seem over worked, underpaid and annoyed. I cancelled after my first month (luckily it was only a penny!), cancelled the card they had on file and found a new gym where I've been at for almost 2 months now and feel right at home! I never felt that way walking into Amped. PS don't fall for the 360° bs they're pushing so hard for. You can get a scale off amazon for $40 that does the same thing. 🤣

I signed up during their Founders VIP presale promotion after being told there would be no charges or activation until the gym officially opened and I came in person to complete my profile. The gym’s opening was delayed for months, and I never went in, never activated, and never used the membership.

Despite this, I later found out that Amped Fitness activated my account without my consent, began billing me for services I never received, and then sent my information to a debt collection agency for supposed unpaid fees. I’ve received collection notices and calls for a membership that was never active and never authorized.

This is completely unacceptable business practice — misleading during sign-up, poor communication, and absolutely no accountability when their own delays caused the problem.

If you’re considering joining, be very cautious and make sure you have everything in writing before giving them your payment information. No one deserves to deal with the stress of false charges and debt collectors for a gym they never even got to use.

I started this gym today and all I can say is I loved everything about it. The layout and privacy they have for women. The stall being inside the shower was my happiness. The young man who helped me this morning was so helpful and greeted me with a smile at 3am in the morning. This place compared to Planet fitness beats the best bet. Cant wait to go back tomorrow.

myself and other ladies that work with me, was lied to and told me my daughter who's 16 can come with me for free as a unlimited guest, to only bring her up there to be turned around and was told that she needed her own membership after i left lA fitness that does let her come. I went one time and never looked back. also my extra guest can't come after 8pm I should've, cancel my membership knowing that i wasn't coming back. I joined a few weeks ago and paid for a personal trainer. My personal trainer DK is awesome. I'm looking and feeling better already. Far as the front desk staff it's been one thing after the other. I told my husband about the gym so he was going to join. However, when he arrived he asked to use the restroom and the girl at the front desk told him he had to be a member to use the restroom. Needless to say he walked out and they lost a customer. Yesterday my dtr came to work out with me on my guest pass and they refused to let her in because she didn't have her physical ID with her but she had a picture of it on her phone. Needless to say they lost another prospective member that was interested in the personal training and a membership. If they continue like this they will not be in business for long. Good customer service speaks volume!!

Good gym. Some bumps and bruises during the opening. Even with all the setbacks of delaying the opening, the building clearly still needed some work and some of the “new” equipment were already down for repair. Equipment is definitely up to par with plenty of squat racks so you’re never going to have to wait on one. The absolute worst part about this gym is that they have so few weights outside of the 45’s. They have like 200 - 45lbs plates, 2 - 35lbs (not exaggerating), maybe 10 - 25lbs plates…..you get the point. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life lol. With all that said, the gym is solid, staff is nice, and they got a kids center. Thumbs up from me.

It’s very disorganized. Poor management. I was excited to join this gym when I heard it was opening up however, I never got to go in because it kept getting pushed back. I tried to go in to cancel my membership (called beforehand) and the staff turned me away because a manager needed to be present. I called back two days later just to be told that whoever was there could have done it. I never even stepped foot in the gym and I got charged $86 to my knowledge and from what staff had said was that my membership wasn’t active until I fully went in and registered with them. I tried talking yo a manager to discuss but nothing. I just simply wouldn’t recommend.

The website set me up with this location and I want to cancel my membership. I called to the location and explained I haven’t even activated my membership, been inside the location anything and i remember the locations having set backs as to when they were going to Grand Open. Which turned me completely off. I got hit with “Oh you have to come in to cancel”. This location is soooo far away from me. That’s why Gyms are getting sued Scamming people out of money. My experience with this Gym was over before it even started. These guys were advertising left and right about $1 memberships for the first month. These people are acting like car dealerships salesmen. Telling you a bunch of lies and not even giving you all the information. I went with my wife on day number one once they opened and we weren't allowed entry because my wife didn't have her gym card so we came back the following day with my brother-in-law to use the gym again and this time they told him that he couldn't come in because he didn't have his driver's license with him... Fine. We came back on the third day only for them to tell us that he wasn't allowed to come in because it was after 8:00 p.m. which was after the allowed times for guests which by the way we were never told of when we signed up and not only that... He has to be 18 which we ALSO were not told about. Now mind you there are other gyms we go to that do allow you to bring guests anytime and of any age. So we cancelled our memberships right then and there. Only for me to find out 2 weeks later that I've been billed $160... ??? For a gym I didn't try at all. Not even ONCE. So I called and I was told that when you cancel they bill you for the month (makes sense) and they PRE-BILL you for the anual fee.. which is $50 this is where I lost it. Because I never even got a chance to try the gym at all and I canceled my membership less than a week before I opened it. And I'm being billed something that usually gets billed 3 months in??? $160 that I won't get back .... After they advertised (try for the first month for free only $1 blah blah) the gym itself looks beautiful, but the structure that these guys have on billing and their rules make it a nightmare, I would avoid it if I were you.

The gym is pretty cool, with many amenities available to VIP members that allow you to customize your personal workout experience. My partner got a membership with guest privileges so we could work out together, but unfortunately, guests are unwelcome after 8pm during week days, and 4pm on weekends.

Guests already don't have access to the VIP amenities, which is totally cool with me, but I just want to lift heavy things and apparently that's not allowed after a certain time of day. It makes me want to find a different gym that doesn't discriminate against night owls.

I usually don’t bother writing reviews but I just had to give them one. Unfortunately there are no 0 star ratings so it’s getting a 1. The staff need to be trained with proper customer service. Out of 4 of my interactions with their staff, 3 were absolutely awful. As soon as I signed up to be a member, I was disregarded many times. I also noticed better treatment to certain type of members. The cons outweigh the pros. This is a cute place but that’s about it. Cardio equipment is old and is facing the parking lot window with no TVs? There are no fans in this place and it gets super hot in there. Twice the AC has been out since I’ve been going and earlier this week the water was out. There aren’t any instructed led classes like advertised so I’m already paying too much when I can go to Fitness Connection, crunch, EOS, or any other gym down the street that offers the same price but more amenities. I will be canceling my membership at the end of the month.

The gym is beautiful and has all the newest equipment, but there are a couple of major issues. For one, the child care room is very close to the front door and has no gate. When we were there, there was only one staff member watching the children and it was chaos. Anybody could have come in and grabbed a child, or a child could have easily wandered out. I absolutely don't feel comfortable leaving my daughter there and won't be taking her back until/unless this is resolved. Secondly, the Babe Cave area had no air conditioning--or at least it didn't feel like it. It was suffocatingly hot and all the girls there agreed. I walked out looking like I had been in a sauna.

The gym just opened this week, so I'm hoping these kinks will be worked out soon. Otherwise, it has great potential.

Gym looks good BUUUT…. Sweat cinema smells like they wiped with a wet old towel or old wet mop, wipe dispenser was empty at 5:00am at 3 dispenser, can’t bring in guest after 9… like what about us night shirt people, app doesn’t work. They were giving away a bag for a 5 star review, that’s just dishonest, just fix these issues and you would have more 5 stars.

Now I know it’s gym and the smell will be unavoidable but again… that smell at the sweat cinema is not sweat, it’s a dirty rag smell, and by the lack of upkeep with dispensers, I would not be surprised if staff is cleaning with dirty stuff. Great place! The only inconvenience is I am not able to bring a guest after certain time at night and cannot use the massage chairs either. I work 12-14 hour shifts and get off around 10p.m-11p.m so unfortunately for me and all the night people we don't get to enjoy some of the amenities that we are paying for with our memberships, specially if we are only able to visit late at night for the most part. I didn't know this until I asked a staff member myself so that was not very transparent from the company and caught me off guard, hopefully these rules get adjusted one day in the future in consideration of those who still make the effort to join and visit late at night.
Other than that the place is clean, music is fire, sweat cinema is on point, most of the staff is friendly and welcoming, and it seems like despite of all the adversities they are working hard to fix the place the best possible way! This is a great place.

Review of Amped Fitness
I recently switched to Amped Fitness from Crunch and, honestly, I'm deeply regretting the decision. The gym looks nice, but that's about it. My main reason for joining was the instructor-led classes that were advertised and included in my membership. When I signed up, I was told they would start in two weeks. After that time passed, I asked a staff member and was told the gym doesn't even offer those classes. It's frustrating to be misled just to get a new membership.
Beyond the misleading information, the gym has some major operational issues. The air conditioning doesn't work, making workouts incredibly hot and uncomfortable, especially since there are no fans or TVs to help distract you. Yesterday, they were even out of water.
The facilities are also poorly maintained. The cardio machines feel cheap, and the bathrooms were out of order—I couldn't even use the toilet or wash my hands. All of this is happening at a gym I'm paying over $30 a month for. The staff has also been rude, which only adds to the negative experience. Given all these problems, I'm honestly surprised this place is still open. The AC issue seems like a long-term problem that won't be fixed anytime soon.
I am highly disappointed and will be canceling my membership.

We like Amped Copperfield a lot so far! We have had only positive interactions with the staff (Anna is my girl) and appreciate their friendly attitudes. For a brand new gym that may still be working out the kinks, it’s awesome— we look forward to coming back every time.

I was really excited about the opening of the Copperfield location and signed myself and parents up for the founder’s rate after trying out the Willowbrook location (Copperfield is much closer to us). Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but frustrating from the start.

First, the link to set up the app didn’t work, and despite calling multiple times, no one ever answered(my parents never got a link or confirmation email). The times I would be able to drive by Copperfield, there would be no staff present to help. Since I was still going as a guest with my boyfriend to the Willowbrook location, I tried getting help from their front desk, but the staff there were rude and completely unhelpful.

I kept trying to call Copperfield and never got a response until last Friday. The man who finally answered was extremely rude and dismissive to my questions. I asked about cancelling and he said that I could come in any time to cancel with no charge.

I was finally able to go in person today, and unfortunately, the staff (two girls and a tattooed male at the front desk) were just as bad. They insisted I pay both an annual fee and a monthly fee even though the gym hasn’t even been open for a full month. While waiting to speak with the manager, I could clearly hear them talking bad about me and insinuating I was lying about calling and information given to me.

Thankfully, the manager I spoke to was kind enough to cancel everything without charging me, after I explained the entire situation. However, a word of advice for her and her team: improve your customer service. Speaking negatively about a customer within earshot is completely unprofessional. I’m a manager myself, and I can honestly say the team needs serious training on professionalism and customer care. My experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend this location based on how poorly I was treated.

I didn’t think I was gonna like this gym. But surprisingly I LOVE IT! There’s different spaces where I can stretch and the girls room where I can be away in my own world. They have a wide selection of machines that work many different
parts of your body. Not too packed right now and all the staff is super friendly. I really enjoy the gauntlet room to stretch and the sauna. I do wish it was darker like the other amps I see on tik tok. But that’s ok. I give them a 10 out of 10.

Just signed up at Amp Fitness Copperfield, and I’m really glad I did. I’ve been a member at Planet Fitness and Crunch in the past, but Amp has something different going on. For starters, the price is great—only $29/month (mid plan after taxes), and that includes guest privileges. That alone is a solid deal.

What really stood out to me is the space. The gym is laid out really well, with equipment spaced just right. You’re not bumping elbows with the person next to you like at some other places. It feels open, clean, and easy to move around. There are also machines here I haven’t seen anywhere else—like the farmer’s walk treadmill and a flat bench row. It shows they put thought into having variety and options for all levels.

Another awesome surprise: they have a cardio cinema room. You can hop on a treadmill, bike, or elliptical and watch a full movie on a huge screen while you get your workout in. They were playing Terminator the first day I went and Rocky the next. It made cardio way more enjoyable.

Tip: Try visiting in the early evenings—still lively, but not too packed.

More space. More gains. That’s the Amp difference. 💪

HORRIBLE GYM I WOULDNT RECOMMEND! First they delayed opening the gym several times after lying to the founders members constantly about opening on a particular day. Then when you get into the gym they make people sign waivers that they don’t even read or get to read basically saying they can use your photos as long as you’re in their gym for whatever reason and if you die from their equipment that is on you and you can’t sue them for anything. Then they have horrible attitudes and customer service! Not friendly at all! The gym is hot as can be! No air conditioning… not what it was cut out to be! The sauna is not even hot .. and it’s tiny. The babe cave is little.. like literally crunch fitness across the street is better! Planet fitness is even better I promise you! First month should be $1 but I spoke to a few founder members who had to pay the full price for the first month even when they signed up prior to starting.. this gym is a joke and all these 5 stars doesn’t even seem real. Im cancelling my membership IMMEDIATELY! If this is yall cup of tea then enjoy by any means.. but I refuse to deal with this.

UPDATE: They just opened on Monday the 21st and they will charge you $83 on the 1st so you don’t even really get the founders rate but for a few days until the new month! Yall RUN FROM THIS GYM ASAP.. I signed my cancellation and the document came in saying I cancelled because I was too far which is a lie

My husband and I love going to the gym and we’re looking for a new gym after moving, which is why we’re so disappointed in this gym. We did the free day pass online and when we got off work we were super excited to try it out here. When we got there we told the front desk we were here to try out the gym (before commiting to the membership) only for them to say we missed the cutoff at 8pm?? (It was 8:30pm) The worker even said “We’re not packed for 8 tbh” giving us hope 😭 then the other guy said they’re not allowed to let us in but could sign us up for the MEMBERSHIP…. 🧐 hmm let’s think critically here, WHY WOULD WE DO THAT without trying it out first, at least offer a tour idk??? The experience was just annoying we left extremely disappointed. We will not be recommending this gym or ever going here. 🙄

I wouldn’t give it a 5 star. The gym is great and looks great. But the only downside I feel like other people may agree with as well is how the guest pass works.
