This place is absolutely amazing. The people, the service and the location. I can't express how much I recommend this place. I am disabled and working on my rehabilitation. Everyone there is so sweet. They don't make me feel like an outsider. They give me advice, if they notice something. They are helpful and caring people. One of the members helped a gentleman find his phone today. I have been assisted myself too. I was helped with setting up a couple of the machines. I was advised that I could increase the difficulty on the recumbent bike. I didn't know that I could. I was only doing a level one. I am actually able to do a level 5. Big improvement. That's just two instances. I definitely would recommend this gym to anyone.

Imagine a football field covered in machines. One end zone has cardio, the other has the crazy "functional" stuff. That's how good this gym is. Its probably 50 yards, though. They have almost everything.

I Just moved to Alvin and I do NOT recommend this gym, Customer service is the most poor and unorganized system I have ever see. The manager Sophia is extremely rude and does not have any respect towards customers or newcomers looking for a gym in Alvin, I expected a welcoming community when I had moved here but I am now looking into different gyms near the area because Anytime Fitness simply does not suffice, I do not recommend to anyone who is looking for a gym in the Alvin area.

I’ve always found contentment with the condition and variety of equipment at this gym. The concept of 24-hour access was a pivotal factor in my decision to join, and it has proven to be incredibly convenient. Initially, there were some hiccups with the access fob, but the gym promptly addressed the issue. It turned out to be a complication from the franchise provider, not a fault of the local owner.

The local ownership is one aspect that I genuinely value. The owners have always been incredibly kind and accommodating, fostering a welcoming environment that makes each workout session enjoyable. I appreciate knowing that I’m supporting a local business with each visit, and their commitment to quality service has not gone unnoticed.

I’m hopeful that the current owners will continue to manage this gym for many years to come, maintaining the friendly atmosphere and quality service that I’ve come to enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym to everyone looking for a well-maintained, locally-owned fitness center with a diverse range of equipment and the convenience of 24-hour access.

Poor service. Key Fob "expired" after few months of joining. Left messages to get problem corrected. No call back. Finally got ahold of her. She said she would fix, if not she would call me. After a week, no call. Not fixed. I had to join Alvin gym because if insurance. Was told after 30 days, I could go to any location.

I absolutely love this location. Has everything I need to get a great workout no matter what I'm targeting that day. Restrooms and showers are always clean as well as the equipment. Also, I live in Louisiana and like I said, this is by far one of my favorite locations.

The owners are awesome people ! the new expansion makes the gym spacious with plenty of room to workout with out someone right next to you. A clean gym with up to date equipment. The weights are always where they go and never laying around, always a win ! Definitely recommend!!

Paying enhancement fees and i havent seen one enhancement. There were kettlebells and a large mat that disappeared and we got a small ...very small piece back from the mat. Equipment needs maintenance. No bands. No new anything. When I first started we were promised a squat machine but that was never delivered. Changes need to happen! Why are we paying these high gym fees if we have nothing to show for it. Very disappointed.

Dirty bathrooms, run down equipment, staff is more worried about working out than actually taking care of facility. I will say he will answer questions if you go to him. But, as for cleanliness of the facility its poor. The only reason I continue to come to the gym instead of Santa fe or Friendswood is purely out of convenience. As for the quality of equipment, that's not on the staff. That's on the fact that the owners don't care or they messed up buying it and aren't making money like they thought they would. It just seems no one cares.

Best gym and best management I've ever experienced. Manager is always involved. He teaches all the members to properly work out and does not let anyone wander around lost. If you are looking for a gym that actually wants you to progress in your fitness goals this is the place.

I've been out of the gym and battling an arthritic hip for a few years. Anytime Fitness in Alvin is where I've chosen to get back in shape and it is proving to be a beautiful choice. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside and has state of the art machines, video, and trainers who know what they are doing and are friendly! So glad I found this place!

Went here a while back, had to do a 1 year contract and was told if I wanted to cancel I had to tell them a month in advance of my 1 year ending. I told the guy but he apparently forgot to cancel it so I paid an extra month for me and my wife coming to around $80. Asked for a refund but they wouldn't budge, and there's no manager above the guy I was dealing with. The guy didn't want to own up to his mistake so I had to pay for it.

The employees here are extremely helpful and nice. Regardless of my fitness level during my membership I have never felt out of place. I stay at this gym despite other gyms being closer to me because of the personable environment. The employees and the other members make this gym unique in the best way. I like that this gym is owned by a local family and you can tell that they really care about their members. The gym was recently remodeled and it looks great. The gym stays updated with nice equipment and everything is cleaned daily. I couldnt be happier!

I have been up to this gym at least 4 times trying to get information on the pricing,I made an appointment to meet with someone at 1 on a Monday I was turned away because their renovations weren't done, I was told by the guy I talked to to come back on Sunday even though they weren't usually there and he would meet me there at 3 pm. I went back the following Sunday and there was no one there, I called the line listed on the door and the man that answered was very condescending and ended up scheduling me for a Monday appoint to meet with someone. I went in and talked the a guy who after the tour immediately tried to get me to sign a 2 year contract, the whole time kept asking me "what was your name again", I wasn't comfortable enough to sign right then and there so I set up an appointment to come back the following Monday to sign up and get a free training session scheduled, when I went up there Monday there was a sign on the door saying "staff will be out until 3:30, sorry for any inconvenience"

It took me two attempt to even meet with someone and now when I was supposed to go in to sign a contract no one was there. that is completely unacceptable. I will not be recommending this gym to anyone.

Anytime Fitness is a great place to work out! The workers are nice and very helpful if you have questions. There are plenty of machines to workout on and challenge yourself. You don't have to wait long for a machine either which is another reason why I like it so much. I would highly recommend anytime fitness!!
