Anytime Fitness on Amarillo Blvd is the worst managed gym I have worked out at. It's filthy and they tell you that they will address a problem, but it doesn't get fixed. They have a problem keeping paper towels stocked and staff is unavailable to address issues.

Neither sanitary, safe, nor a gym that can offer reasonable temperatures. Only enter if you’ve got your bikini and a snowsuit to work out in (depending on the day), your own shovel to safely enter, and heavy industrial cleaners and a plunger… In the last two months, the gym has had feces on the bathroom floor for over three days without being cleaned, the gym has been 78 degrees inside on days where it’s warm outside and 52 degrees inside on one of the coldest days of the year and these three items alone are only the more recent issues. I would normally recommend Anytime Fitness but this gym has gone downhill.

Equipment is missing hooks (see pics for proof- sorry I failed to snap the turds that were left for more than 72 hours…by the third day I finally cleaned it up myself as the manager had not bothered responding to my first call…)

It took months for them to repair the assisted pull up machine. One treadmill is hazardous as it is very unsteady and yet is neither being repaired nor bearing a sign that it is out of order. I give one star as the manager is at least stocking the paper towels and cleaner for gym equipment more consistently.

Don’t bother calling the manager as they are annoyed to hear about unsanitary or uncomfortable conditions if they trouble themselves to answer- but in general, they simply won’t call back!

Maybe it’s the standard for Anytime Fitness to not even shovel snow off the walkways in front of doors… but beware… if you’re looking for a sanitary and safe environment at reasonable temps, this gym is not your best bet.

I love this small gym. But the owner needs to keep the machines in better condition. Loose screws.... wobbly arms on elliptical. Several of us have asked the employee in the morning to get it repaired.... but didn't happen. So a man brought his own tool in this morning and tightened it. You would think the employee would be able to do a simple repair.

I have been a part of Anytime Fitness for awhile now because I travel a lot and Anytime is almost everywhere I go. Out of all the Anytime’s I’ve been to I have never ever witnessed any of them allow their cleaning crew to use a LEAF BLOWER to dust off the equipment. I like to use this one because I live in that area and it’s convenient, but due to this I got another membership to another gym while I’m home. I don’t know about yall but this is highly unsanitary blowing hair, dust dried sweat and dead skin in the air for you to breathe while you’re working out. I have complained several times to management and they still allow it to happen. It’s disgusting and I’ve been in some dirty gyms but this is far worse then anything I’ve seen.

This location is small most of the machines are out of order, and to top it all off you will be charged a ridiculous amount and nobody in the office a.k.a. management won't be able to tell you how nor why you get random charges at any random time! I've made 4 payments in just as many weeks and am being asked to pay 3times my membership fee now. Needless to say my membership is now canceled. I'd rather to to truefit and take my changes getting shot at. Sad days!

For the most part it's clean. I'm asthmatic you have 7 air fresheners in a small area and I had a bad breathing reaction . It is harmful to have these chemicals in a small area. There's no fan blow air and I feel sick. My lungs hurt. I feel like I fell into Christmas with that pine cinnamon scent.also these products says on the label causes cancer irritates the eyes, harmful to the lungs

First time to this location. Very nice equipment and clean areas to work out in. There is more equipment than I thought would be here. I just moved completely across town and am so glad there is a nice gym on this side of town. At 5am, it is the typical nice folks that are close to my age. No young kids clanging and banging or sitting on their phones. I can’t wait to go back soon.

The small DETAILS matter for instance..
I would have given it five stars but, not ONE single FAN in the whole gym! The in house music was a bit too loud.. hard to hear my own headphones! SHOWER ROOMS had no bench or a chair not even a small table to set your stuff on - really? My .02¢ for another 2 ⭐'s.

I absolutely love this place. I used to train there for about 5 years and decided to get a change of scenery and went to another gym. Big mistake. Now that I am back, it's as if I never left. So far this is my second favorite Anytime Fitness in Amarillo. I haven't found one yet with a designated deadlift area....so people just have to be in the middle of the floor :(
This would be my favorite one because of location to my place, the only thing keeping me fr it is the lack of some sort of a small table in the changing rooms so I don't have to put everything on the floor or in the sink. Otherwise I really enjoy this AF. Usuly not too crowded when I've been here.

I arrived at 5pm on a Saturday expecting it to be kinda busy. To my surprise, only one couple were there and they were walking out. Can't express how great it is to have a gym to yourself! Speaking of which, the gym was extremely clean and though there's signs it's been there for a bit, everything looked brand new. Men's bathroom was immaculate and there was plenty of space for a little of everything. Some of the AFG's I've visited were a bit compact. Not this one. 🥰

Just used this gym. Matt, the manager was warm and friendly and showed me around the gym. The place is super clean and you has enough equipments to choose from. Overall great vibes and if you are passionate about working out, this is the gym to join! Super happy and five star stuff!!

What a rip off this place is. Please save your money, and do not waste your time. We were in a wreck and was unable to continue going here as in the contract, this is reason to cancel. I was texted this morning saying I had “one last chance” to get my account straight and I informed the man I had spoken to some one months ago who had it all handled?? And as soon as I tried giving proof of doctors notes it was all of a sudden “I’m sorry but your account has already been sent to collections”. What a coincidence as soon as I try to give proof on legitimate reason to cancel they want to send it to collections because they knew they were in the wrong. What a fraud this place is. Steer clear people.

Very nice and clean facility. Large selection of Precor equipment for all types of lifts. Spacious workout areas with plenty of free weights. It is very well lit and secure. Staff is polite and acknowledges each person that enters the facility. Great place to work out!

I joined this gym and only went a handful of times due to the dirty conditions in the restroom and showers every time I went in. Then, I moved to another area of the country where Anytime Fitness wasn't available and made the staff aware of my move. I was told it was no problem and my account would be closed. Then, I check my credit report and see a collections account from Anytime Fitness for $844! Screw this gym! I'll tell everyone I know to avoid this dirty, shabby little scam at all costs. Maybe I'll actually pay the $844 so you guys can buy supplies and hire staff to keep your damn facility clean for once. I also disliked the fact that it's not staffed 24 hours a day. That's a serious security concern, especially with the facility's proximity to bad neighborhoods. Not to mention if someone was seriously injured on their equipment. Overall the worst gym I've ever been a member of hands down.

Today was the first time I went into Anytime Fitness on West Amarillo Blvd. I have to say that I felt so welcomed there. The staff I think it was Grace, was so helpful. Other people that where there to work out was willing to talk to me about there journey's and what to do. This has to be the most friendly gym I have every been in. They gave me a 7 day pass to get me started to see if I like the place and I am so impressed with that. I have never had a place care that much about the people that walk through there doors. Thanks for everything will see you very soon this week in fact. One more thing they gave me great advice and have trainers that will really help you get to the goals I am looking for . Very caring group of people.
