I was just in town for 2 days and stopped in to see if I could get a day pass. Trent, the owner, is professional and easy to work with. He is making great transformations to the gym and it has everything you would need. Highly recommend this gym to anybody in Bonham and surrounding areas.

Ac fixed. Doors finally closed. Fixed some equipment and added new equipment. All that's great... but the problem now is children approximately the age of 4 running around bare foot in the free weights. This can be dangerous for them.
This seems to be the only way to get the owners/managers to listen to our complaints as well.
I just dont want to see a young child hurt.

On my FitQuest70 journey from Sacramento to Texas to lose 70 pounds, I visited my 65th stop at the Anytime Fitness in Bonham, Texas. This gym is surprisingly compact compared to others, but its bustling atmosphere shows it’s a local favorite. Despite the limited floor space, which made it a bit challenging to follow my lower back program, I was impressed that nothing was broken or out of order—a definite plus. The gym offers a vending machine with a few items for sale, adding a small convenience for members. While it’s not the cleanest gym I’ve visited and lacks the extras I’ve seen elsewhere, the community clearly values this space, giving it a lively vibe. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars, as it’s far from the worst I’ve encountered and still supports my fitness journey with its functional setup.

Probably one of the worst gyms I've ever joined... Would not recommend this to anyone in the bonham area as the gym owners are never able to be reached and are never there during business hours. Many times machines would be non functional and no note or anything would be left about plans for repair or anything. This gym needs new owners... someone who is more involved with the members and insuring that everything is in working order and that gym members are satisfied and happy...I would recommend any other gym than this one. It's like pulling teeth trying to reach anyone here about anything. DO NOT BOTHER JOINING!

UPDATE-success today patron let me in , owner there but on his way out to work couldn't talk...gym is small but seemed well stocked & clean. My star rating went from 1 to 4. They need someone to answer phone/return calls-even if they r offsite . Business hrs posted is misleading..not really open. On 11-10-23.. This place is frustrating! I am a member from a different location & have tried calling repeatedly-no answer. Tried stopping by-doors locked at all hrs. Tried stopping in during posted business hours-no one there.

I tried getting their trial and when I went there the guest entrance was locked and nobody would answer my calls or my texts or my emails. The customer service is horrible if it even exist.

Clean gym. Barely anyone there before 6 AM and after 9 AM. (Haven't gone in the afternoon or evening, so I can't speak to that timeframe.) Great variety of equipment that's all well maintained. Management is very friendly and returns calls/texts promptly.

Update:
I finally got ahold of the gym owner and was able to get a membership. The gym is small but has a decent selection of equipment. Not what I'm used to but better than nothing! Also has nice showers/bathrooms.

I am from out of town and in the Bonham area for work. I have tried to get ahold of the gym several times to get a membership. Even went up there twice during business hours and no one was there.

This location is small but growing and the new manager is AMAZING! She’s friendly (but doesn’t interfere with your workout) and helpful. I enjoy this gym as the other members are also friendly and helpful for a newly returning to exercise gym member.

I have been to other Anytime Fitness center across the U.S. and the one in Bonham is by far the worst. The staff I have dealt with are unprofessional and not very friendly. Would a hello, our have a nice day kill anyone? The facility is always dirty, often there are times when the equipment wipes are empty as well as toilet paper. The biggest turn off though,would be the manager. See above comments.

I would do no stars if I could. When I signed up was told That I could cancel membership with exceptions, so when I lost my job..thought I could cancel it. Drive up there and am told I can not...that The only exceptions are if you can go to the gym basically. I can not do so if I am broke. She that doesn't count. Everytimes I go there isnt any cleaning wipes and dust and trash. Very poorly run. Do not say you can cancel if you really mean you cant.

This is a Amazing Gym, very nice atmosphere and very comfortable with the staff. They really care about you and will help you as well as they can with what you need to be using at the gym. Very nice shower's, I love this gym. Maybe it's your time to come in and get the body your wanting for the summer.

Would be 5 but they let people leave weights and trash all over the place so you have to pick up after other people. No rules so don’t be surprised to see non gym members taking up benches and space talking to their friends
