I Have been going to commerce anytime fitness for over a year now and it is the most clean and looked after gym I've seen the equipment is always looked after etc the staff is super friendly and helpful overall I love this gym!

I've been to many Anytime fitnesses in the US all over since 2014 and this is by far one of the cleanest ones I've been to, the Manager really cares and is extremely polite. I'm closer to 2 other Anytimes but prefer the Commerce gym.

I've had a great experience at Anytime Fitness Commerce! The gym is always clean and well-maintained, and the equipment is in great condition. Elizabeth is especially nice and friendly—always welcoming and ready to help with any questions. It makes a big difference having someone so approachable running the place. Highly recommend!

At gym #66 on my FitQuest70 journey to lose 70 pounds, the Anytime Fitness in Commerce, Texas, stood out with its large layout and a welcoming display of workout gear and supplements for purchase. It has a spacious carpet mat area and more plate-loaded than stack weight machines, though some leather upholstery showed wear—possibly from harsh cleaners, which got me thinking about leather deterioration over time. Despite a decent crowd, the roomy setup provided plenty of space for my upper body workout using the Anytime Fitness app. The modern, spotless shower facilities, complete with wall-mounted hair dryers, added a nice touch to a solid gym experience.

The Commerce Anytime is a well managed facility. The manager and trainer are both so friendly and interactive . They keep the facility clean and everything working as it should. It’s a pleasant environment and not crowded., easy to get on equipment.

I’ve been a member of Anytime Fitness for the past three months, and up until today, I had no issues. However, I had an extremely frustrating experience with the manager at the Commerce, TX location today. When I initially joined, the manager told me I would receive one free consultation each month. I used my consultations on January 7th, February 11th, and March 12th.

Yesterday, when I went to ask for my consultation for April, the manager told me that the consultation was available every 30 days, not monthly, which I accepted. However, she then falsely claimed that I had used my consultation within two weeks of my last visit and was not eligible for another one. I clarified that I hadn’t used any consultation since March 12th, and she insisted that I had. Even she said that if use the consultation after March 12th I will charge you $25 for that also I said okay.

I immediately provided the consultation document to prove my claim, but she continued to argue, stating that I had used my consultation within the last two weeks. This kind of behavior towards a customer is completely unprofessional.

I also have access to a gym at my university, which is much cheaper and offers more options. If this kind of customer service continues, I can’t see many students choosing to join Anytime Fitness.

I’ve been to other anytime’s in the area (Greenville and Sulphur Springs) and this is by far the best! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I always feel safe working out here, anytime, day or night. The equipment is great and the facilities are always clean. All walks of life work out here and you can truly tell anyone is welcome, great sense of community here. Love this gym!!

I have to say that the atmosphere and the staff of this gym are great overall however my experience was changed by the manager of this establishment. Due to her poor attitude and inability to address the issues at hand in a professional and calm manner. She made no attempts to deescalate the situation. Instead she went out of her way to single me out and insult my dirty shoes. Now I will admit sometimes I work out in my work shoes and they do carry mud. But her way of handling this situation without giving me a bad attitude is truly uncalled for. I will be reaching out to the local regional manager in attempts to get her some sensitivity training in handling these types of situations in the future without escalating or insulting the very customers that keep this business going.

I’ve been going to this gym for a year now. Elizabeth is absolutely amazing and so sweet🖤 if you have any questions, comments, or even complaints she will help you the best she can. Derek is an amazing coach and helped me with so many questions I had as well. The gym is always clean, as are the restrooms. There is a room for my kids to go sit in and watch tv as well if they come with me. I could not recommend this place more🖤

This is the dirtiest gym I have ever been too!!! Elizabeth the personal trainer called me asking if a guy was with me because she seen on the cameras that he came in after me and didn’t swip his card. I find it very funny she has time to watch the cameras but doesn’t have time to clean the gym! Spider Cobb web everywhere! Dead bugs around the gym! Worst gym ever! I will be looking for another gym because honestly the workers here don’t give a crap about the gym!

Very welcoming and staff doesn’t judge you. When running through my assessment with the trainer he listened to what I had to say, was understanding that i do have a sports injury and encouraged me to take my time & tell him when I needed to stop when I felt pain. I haven’t walked into a gym before & not felt judge by the staff or felt like they were just after a paycheck.

Gym is clean, outdated ellipticals but main issue is the bathrooms. No AC in bathrooms so it’s too hot to shower, it’s been that way all summer!
Now hand dryer is broken and no way to dry hands. No paper towels either.

Frustrating Experience with New Management

I've been a loyal member of Anytime Fitness for a while now, and until recently, my experience has been nothing but positive. However, I recently encountered a frustrating incident with the new management that I feel compelled to share.

Yesterday, I visited the gym with a friend. We both swiped my entry card, and my friend forgot to use his. This honest mistake led to an encounter with the manager, where things quickly escalated.

The manager accused me of trespassing, claiming that I had been previously warned about this issue. I insisted that I had never received any prior warnings, but she remained adamant, even suggesting that there was video evidence of the alleged warning.

As we continued to discuss the situation, another staff member joined the conversation, and things took a rude turn. The lack of professionalism in their communication was disappointing, to say the least.

What frustrated me the most was that, despite the manager and owners being friendly and polite, the other staff members seemed to lack basic customer service skills. The situation escalated further when three staff members confronted me simultaneously, raising their voices and attempting to assert control.

This experience left me deeply dissatisfied with the new management at Anytime Fitness. While I appreciate the manager's attempt to enforce the rules, there is a clear disconnect between her approach and that of the owners. It's crucial that all staff members maintain a consistent level of professionalism and customer service.

I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for Anytime Fitness and that they address these issues within their new management team to ensure that all members have a positive and respectful experience.

I’ve been a member of AF now for 2yrs or so. I remember signing up with Sara and the staff at the time was great and very helpful. I still like the the facility and the expansion they have made is great. But the employees not so much. They never offer any help or anything. I went in with my 3 year old daughter today and I took her to the kid room they have but she did not like it. It’s not really toddler inviting…just a plain room with a tv which is fine(I knows it’s not their focus) but I had her sitting in area were you put your bags and drinks(out of the way) and the employee there at the time was rude about telling me she could not sit there. I understand rules are rules but he did not even try to hear my concerns. I’m very disappointed in this facility and the new staff.

Enjoyed working out here while I was living in the area. Gym was clean and machines seemed to be kept up with. The cancelation process was straightforward and went exactly as described when I signed up. I travel for a living and have found it is rare for a gym to be honest about the cancellation process when signing up. If I'm ever back in the are I will get a membership here again.
