Bathrooms are filthy all the time, they go weeks without being cleaned. Its bad enough the equipment is rusted and old but i hate going in to the bathrooms. it sucks this place isnt better kept for the 55 dollars a month per member you would think it would be kept clean in there.. planet fitness is 16 a month per member and their bathrooms get cleaned 3x a day. Crazy work. Disappointing Anytime Fitness management

I pay too much money to have to workout around remodeling for months upon end.. I was really excited to see the renovations, but it’s been several weeks since any progress has been made. I love anytime, but it just doesn’t seem like anyone cares about the appearance or quality of anytime Ennis. It’s been progressively going downhill. I canceled my membership for years because of this but recently rejoined after going to a different anytime with top of the line equipment and very clean nice friendly staffed environment!!! But my hometown gym is the exact opposite!

This is an update 3 weeks later and this gym has trash laying everywhere. Equipment jammed in one spot where everyone is bumping elbows. Dusty nasty unclean. I genuinely think someone should buy this gym and never let the owner of this place ever own a gym again. This is a so ridiculous that we have to use this facility in this condition. Whoever the contractor is doing renovations is the worst most unprofessional contractor I have ever seen, and I am a local businessman in Ennis with a hand in the community.. stay away from this gym.. the renovations are never going to happen. Over 3 months and nothing is done but paint!!!!!

Another 4 weeks later and still destroyed with absolutely no progress for week!! If I could give a zero I would!!!!! Worst most incompetent owner I have seen!!!!

Gym is way too small and crowded. The equipment is always greasy and outdated. There’s always no wipes. The bathrooms are disgusting and look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. Only like one tv in the whole place and it’s tiny. Lack of good fans. There’s no reason for the membership to be $27 biweekly when it’s this neglected and lacks a lot compared to another big name gym that offers more and is cleaner.

I don't like doing reviews at all, but I have to leave this one review I love Anytime Fitness been a member since 2019 I've also been to many AFs I'm sorry to say but Ennis has been the worse Anytime Fitness. When I got the email about the renovation, I was so excited seeing the final completion I've have been going to PF just because its cleaner and even though I don't like the machines cleanliness is a key to having a good workout to me. that being said I had spoken to the manager last year offering a renovation as I work for a GC Company looking at the work is okay, but I notice the Unsafe work in the building several receptacles with no plates exposed for people to accidently have a SIF with sweat running down their arms while trying to plug a fan. Housekeeping can Improve and seeing other reviews on how long the duration has lasted is disappointing I will paraphrase what one person said we pay money to this gym, and we would appreciate a clean completed gym in return. As respectful as I can be please improve QC/AC.

It's a small gym . I've been a member from almost day one . I'ts starting to get really crowded . I don't like crowds , so this is really starting to get annoying. Most of the TVs don't work. They always run out of sterilizing wipes on the weekends . I've replaced them when I see the boxes in the hall . I used to love going to the gym . It's to the point where I've almost stopped working out .

I’ve had a membership here for about 5 years now(8 total with anytime) Staff is great, and they do everything in their power to make sure the facility is functional, but the building is an absolute dump. The owner clearly does not care at all. When I first started working out here there was some drywall repairs (2020) and 5 years later they are still not painted. Same spots of the roof leaks, machines are running down and zero investment in updating or upgrading stuff. If there was another 24hr gym in ennis I would immediately switch. Plus the A/C was out today lol. I hope the owner of this building trips on top of a massive ant hill. And if they are reading this. YOU SUCK

Everything you need to get a decent workout.
Location is great, always parking.
Managers seem nice.
$5 day pass almost unheard of.
Plenty of bathrooms.
I like being able to use any Anytime anywhere when I’m traveling.
Good WIFI now
Cons-
$45 a month is a bit much for the place.
Could use some updating and renovations, they do happen but it does take a while.
Lighting is sub a bit yellowish and can give you a headache after a while.
Did have a bit of a problem with people letting their friends or entire family in.

This place has become run down. I hadn't gone in about 3 years and since then it's gone down hill. Seems like the owners don't care very much anymore. Edit: after have been to other anytime locations, it seems that most locations have similar issues. ennis location needs to be renovated and updated machines. Planet fitness kills them when it comes to the quality of the equipment. The only reason I come to anytime is because of the free weights. If planet had that, I'd be gone.

Tried to work out here but as soon as I opened the door I got smacked in the face(harder than Will Smith at the oscars), with disgusting air freshener smell. Gross. Want a workout, not a headache. Had to immediately leave.

I’ve been going for a while and the culture inside is really welcoming! Regulars there are easy to talk to and willing to help with questions I might’ve had. Management does a splendid job with maintenance and upkeep so it feels good to be inside. Hoping to adapt well into this community bring further updates!

I would say it's a good gym but one Apple can ruin the whole bunch. One of the managers at this location has never been nice to me. As a matter of fact I've not had one encounter outside of the moment she took my membership dues for two members. She is rude both outside and inside the facility having no consideration for others. I would happily stay if she would go to some type of customer service skill. I'm upset but luckily there are other locations in the area. Yea more expensive perhaps but to me service is worth it.
