I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. You sign a year contract and they keep billing you after your contract is up. Tried getting ahold of them several times to make them stop billing me and no one would help. I had to change my banking information to get them to stop pulling money even though it was months after my contract ended. Now they’re constantly harassing me to make payments. I suggest staying away from this place.

The management doesnt know what they are doing. Before signing the contract i asked about the cancelation policy because i had to move in near future and the employee told me the only valid reason for cancelation is if you dont have a facility within 3-4 miles of your address. I recently moved and the closest anytime is 6.7 miles from me which is around 20-22 min drive because of traffic lights. I called them and they said you either have to pay 75% of the dues to get out of contract or keep paying until it expires. I’ve been to better gyms all my life the only reason i got their membership was because i was in gainesville for a few months for work and this was the closest gym to me. Their gym is not even well equipped and they charge $60+ a month whereas LA, EOS and Crunch charge around $30-40. I wouldnt recommend anybody getting their membership.

Gym #55 in Gainesville, Texas, marks another vibrant stop on my fitness journey from Sacramento to Texas! This gym may be on the smaller side, but it’s bursting with energy and clearly a local favorite. I focused on cardio today, enjoying a solid hour on the treadmill, and the gym’s lively atmosphere kept me motivated the entire time.
This place is packed with features: tanning beds, showers, and a welcoming vibe that draws a steady crowd. I understand it shares the same owner as the stellar Pilot Point gym (#54). The popularity here speaks for itself—even after a couple of hours, the gym was buzzing with enthusiastic members, so they’re definitely doing something right!
While I’m giving Gym #55 a strong 4.5 stars, there’s a little room for improvement to reach that perfect 5. Some surfaces could use a bit more attention to stay squeaky clean, and a few wipe dispensers needed refilling during my visit. I’d also love to see paper towels in the showers and restrooms for members to help keep things tidy. These are small tweaks, though, and they didn’t dim the gym’s appeal or stop the locals from flocking here.
If you’re in Gainesville, Gym #55 is a great spot to get your workout in. It’s popular, well-loved, and has a community feel that makes it special. With a touch more sparkle on the surfaces, this gym could easily shine even brighter!

Too much equipment for the space. It is nice that they have 2 squat racks however. The biggest complaint I have is that they have a ton of different bars but every single squat bar with center knurling has locks on it. Makes zero sense to lock up equipment that we pay the monthly dues to use.

Beware! The owner and operators of this location are out for money! They will try to squeeze every every penny out of you and make it impossible to cancel the membership saying that you have to wait several months after submitting your resignation to be considered. They tried to charge my account for three months after I submitted my resignation because I moved away to an area that did not have AF. Bad, bad business operators and out for your money. Seek other gyms!!

Anytime, took their time with me and explained everything. Equipment looks very new. Brandon their coach is absolutely the best. He listens and takes into consideration my needs. I agree gym is small but there is everything you need to get a great workout. Can’t wait to put myself together in this gym, come try it out!

Very poorly maintained, for the money you give for this membership it should be right. Nothing is taken care of, I've got a tanning membership and never use it because the bulbs havent been changed in over 2 yrs, it's a waste of time and money, the grips on the equipment have been tore for yrs,

BEWARE... in signing up, finishing your contract (we did 18 months) and Anytime Fitness reinstating your membership (when time expires) only to CONTINUE pulling funds from your checking account again and again without permission and no new contract signed. Not a happy customer and will never step foot in this location again!

Clean family, equipment is in good shape, 24 hour access makes working out easier for ne. I also enjoy the tanning beds the 20 minute one is great!! The friendly patrons make it enjoyable, I've needed help a few times as I am just gettingback into workingout and everyone has been so nice! If you join please tell them I sent you. Ashley Spurgeon. All I do is go in and work out. For a town the size of Gainesville this is a great fitness center. Staff is good, it is clean, and the people in the gym are very friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend Anytime Fitness in Gainesville.

I am so disappointed in the way my account was handled. I have been trying to cancel my membership since October 2018. I explained to the manager that I am no longer in that area and will not be able to come to the gym. I do not have a utility bill in my name to show as proof therefore I was told I had to continue to pay the monthly fee until my membership ran out. I have complied and made the monthly payments which have totaled $462.00, although I am not using the facility. I noticed a $19.99 fee was charged by Anytime Fitness on the 1st of this month July, 2019. I called to ask what the fee was and I was told it is a once per year membership dues fee. I explained (again) that I am trying to cancel my membership therefore I do not feel I should have to pay the $19.99 fee that is charged for the upcoming year so now I am paying $481.99. I was told there was nothing they could do to help me besides wait to cancel my membership. She then explained i must sign the cancellation by August 1st, 2019. I then asked since today is July 2, 2019 may I sign the cancellation today since there is a 30 day cancellation notice policy? She stated no, but you MUST sign your cancellation request by August 1st 2019. She finally told me I could come in and sign my cancellation prior to August 1st, 2019 but she would have to hold it until the 1st. I just really feel that this is a poor example of customer service. I will be sure to make all of my friends and aquaintances aware of this.

This place was okay when working out on the normal, but if you need any changes made to your membership it's impossible. The owner keeps referring me to the manager and the manager refers me to the owner, it's an endless loop. My membership has been cancelled for 2 months and now they sent me a letter saying I owe them 2 months worth and a late fee...no thanks, my membership has been cancelled for 2 months, if they forgot to change it in the system that's their bill not mine. Wouldn't recommend, the whole process of cancellation of my membership has lasted 5 months and still no solution apparently, no I'm not joking. It's added a stress to my life that I simple don't need or have time for. Think about other gym options before signing up for this one. The gym owner continues to tell me I'm rude to her over phone calls and text, I don't think I've ever been rude in my entire life...my friends are astonished this lady is saying all these things about me being rude because this is crazy. I am thinking about contacting corporate about this issue and maybe even the better business bureau.

One of the best gyms hands down! The staff is so friendly and helpful, Joezy, is the best manager they have had since I have been a member here! Julie, the owner is very nice too! And they now have a stair master! They listen to their members, and take into consideration what they say/ask for! I love anytime because I can literally workout anytime, with my busy work schedule it's hard to go during the day. They keep the gym clean too! Their tanning beds are great too! Overall a very great gym!!!!

Not really a big fan of these polished and pampered gyms but I travel for work so no choice. I've seen ATFs all over the country, this is definitely one of the nicer ones. I went in on a Friday evening for my PM cardio and it was packed...So I'm sure it's that bad or worse normally. This morning at 5am it was mostly empty.

I have been a member of two other gyms in the area, and Anytime is the nicest and cleanest. The owner, Jared, is friendly and runs the gym very well. The only improvement I could recommend is to add a class that uses weights. Right now they just have zumba and crossfit. However, none of the other gyms had these types of classes either, so it's probably not in high demand in this area. I travel for work, and really like that I can go to any Anytime location. I have recommended the Gainesville Anytime to many people and will definitely continue to do so.

They will not give you any information over the phone and ask for all your personal information. They try to sale the membership before you even seem interested. Once I was in the facility it was small and not a real gym. The 2 people working were not nice and seemed to be more interested in getting my money. They say they have all these aerobic classes but do not offer them. They also promote Blue Cross Blue Shield fitness program, but do not honor it once you get there. I would not recommend going there to anyone. There are way better gyms in Gainesville to visit.
