I use the personal trainer Carmen, she is wonderful and is helping me hit my goals. I haven’t had any issues with AF Haslet. The gym and equipment are clean, and the staff have been helpful and pleasant.

I will most definitely be taking my money elsewhere. The manager is sitting in the office with the door shut and locked back to the wall and eyes glued to his cell phone screen. We just moved to the area and are looking for a gym for our family. Not only can this dude not be bothered to look up and greet potential customer but when I tapped on the window and asked if he could help us he just looks up from his phone for a moment And makes a sign like he's eating with a fork, then goes back to staring at his phone. Bear in mind, it's 3:00 p.m. just the epitome of rudeness and trashy customer service.

Highly recommend NOT using this gym. They are highly deceptive and dishonest.

My husband and I were both members and had to cancel our memberships due to moving several hours away. We canceled on the same day and turned our fobs in at the same time after over a year of being members. The manager at the time cancelled only one of our memberships, and left the other one open which continued to accrue bills. Countless attempts have been made trying to get them to remove those bills AFTER the membership was cancelled.

The staff has been incredibly difficult to work with and says they can't do anything about it even though this is no fault of ours and completely on them. This has been going on for over a year now and they're saying we owe $250 dollars. Even corporate told us that it was taken care of almost a year ago, and it keeps coming back up.

This has been absolutely ridiculous and I urge anyone looking for a gym to look elsewhere.

I would strongly advise against doing business with this gym, as my experience with them has been nothing short of fraudulent. Despite signing a contract that clearly states a 30-day cancellation policy, they are now demanding a 45-day notice to cancel my membership. This is a blatant violation of the terms outlined in our agreement, and when I attempted to address the issue with them, they were completely unwilling to work with me. Instead of honoring the contract, they have chosen to manipulate the situation in an effort to squeeze more money out of me.

Their behavior is both unethical and dishonest, and it’s clear they are taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. I’ve tried to resolve this issue in a reasonable manner, but they seem more interested in making money by any means necessary than maintaining any kind of customer satisfaction or integrity. The fact that they’re actively trying to force me into paying more than what the contract stipulates is absolutely unacceptable.

If you’re considering joining this gym, I highly recommend you read the fine print carefully and be prepared for them to try to change the terms of your agreement to their advantage. Based on my experience, I believe they are more focused on exploiting members than providing a good service. There are plenty of gyms out there that value honesty and customer service—unfortunately, this is not one of them.

This anytime fitness is one of the dirtiest I've been to. Trash cans are always full and the bathrooms are like going into a 7-Eleven restroom really dirty and no soap to wash your hands. Machines are dusty and the floor needs to be vacuumed. The sanitation spray is out by the weekend and since I been coming here the manager turnover is unbelievable. This gym is by far the worst I've ever been to! The Owners of this gym need to take lessons from the one in Saginaw! That gym has got it down! If I didn't live so close to this one I would definitely be going there!

I’ve never encountered a more predatory business than Anytime Fitness. Canceling a membership should be straightforward, but they’ve made it nearly impossible. Their website is a disaster—confusing, poorly designed, and intentionally difficult when it comes to locating your account or accessing cancellation options.

The staff? Equally disappointing. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, they deny any record of my outreach, showing either complete incompetence or a deliberate attempt to avoid accountability.

Their gyms are outrageously overpriced considering the lack of amenities they boast about on their website. Even worse, there’s no way to verify which amenities each gym actually offers, meaning you’re stuck paying for features you’ll likely never have access to.

I wouldn’t recommend Anytime Fitness to anyone. Their business practices are deceptive, their service is disgraceful, and their facilities don’t live up to the hype. Avoid this scam at all costs.

This gym is disgusting, I just moved to the area and I am looking for a new gym to join. The smell is horrible when you first walk in. People walk around with no shoes on and go back and forth from the tile area to the functional fitness area. Staff needs to be on site and correct these people. No shoes is against anytime fitness policy. Obviously management and ownership is checked out.

I joined this location a few months ago and I have to say it’s the best decision I could have made. They have a great variety of equipment and an amazing staff. Travis is the manager at this location and he is just amazing. Travis goes out of his way to make everyone feel like they matter. He not only encourages me during my workout but I’ve seen him encourage others as well. Having someone in your corner makes all the difference. They even have a Most Active board where they list the top 10 active members for the month. It’s a small thing but it really keeps me motivated to hit the gym everyday. Again great location, great staff and a good sense of community. You will not regret joining.

This is literally the worst customer service I’ve ever received. My husband and I have Been trying to cancel our membership since 7/29! No one is staffed at the location and no one ever answers the phone and there is no alternate phone number. If someone from their corporate office could contact me so we can tend to this matter that would be great!

Can't even get ahold of anyone to give them my money to join.
Management is not present during the posted staffed hours. Nobody answers the phone or follows up on online inquiries. I did a trial for 1 day that I got to use it that someone was there and the gym was out of paper towels. If you can't get them from your vendor, run to the dollar store and get some or something for sanitary purposes. Seems to have poor leadership at this location and that is causing them to miss the mark and miss out on membership growth.

Poorly maintained. Several pieces of equipment are in poor working order, ab machine the seat falls off, the jump ropes are broken, one of the ellipticals shuts down randomly during use or goes down in resistance while the user is flipping the switch to go up... Etc etc. Poor facilities maintenance as well. Roughly once per week the TP in the bathrooms is out completely. Just a quick glance before leaving and replacing one of the 6 spaces for rolls would help.

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager at this location is very unreliable and almost impossible to get in contact with. I do not even live in the area anymore and am still being forced to fork out $28 every two weeks because they refused to work something out to where I could cancel my membership. Never have I EVER come across a gym who wouldn’t allow me to cancel my membership any time. Especially if I’m not even in the area. I’d understand if I still lived out here, but I don’t.
The gym itself was well taken care of, but the management needs some reevaluating. Very disappointed. And now broke.

They need to upgrade space. Maybe check out somewhere closer to 287. May add 25% more equipment to help after the move too. The only negative thing about it is the size. It’s one of the smaller Anytime Fitness locations I’ve been to. Expect to be waiting for a machine or equipment during the busy hours. There are large groups that come in from 5-9.

I scheduled a tour for today 2/12 at 10 a.m. on 2/5. I arrived on-time today to see a sign on the door that states the gym is unstaffed. Someone could have called me last week to let me know that no one would be available to give me a tour so I would not have wasted my time. Poor communication!
