I remember saying I'd change my review to 5 stars once equipment started getting fixed. Many months later we actually have less cardio equipment. 3 treadmills and 5 people waiting to use it. Ellipticals STILL do not change elevation or resistance. We keep being told it's being worked on, but NOTHING changes. I think the manager is great. I don't blame her. I blame her bosses.

Kalyn has a very pleasant attitude and she will do everything she can to help you. Ryan is very knowledgeable about fitness and how to do the lifts. I think they do a great job and anytime fitness should be proud of their work

Too many things to complain about. Management has made it known that they only care about taking your money and giving back very little. After numerous "club enhancement" fees there is still nothing that's new and most of the cardio equipment is broken. The elliptical machines don't change their elevation or resistance, the treadmills will often shut off while walking on them, and the cherry on top of everything is that new gym competition is offering loads of features for $20 (crunch) while anytime still over charges for subpar equipment and still wants to charge am arm and a leg to use a tanning bed..... that's often times broke. Lmfao

The lock on the doors have been malfunctioning and keeping everyone out. This has happened multiple times in the past few months. After speaking with the manager we found out it's an easy fix and things mess up after a storm. It would be a problem if the manager would show up to work!!!
Also, the "trainer" that teaches the ladies class in the back room keeps all the bands, step boards, medicine balls, and stationary bikes locked in the room during her classes and WILL NOT LET ANYONE USE THEM DURING HER CLASS. Again, it would not be an issue if the classes were not during the busiest hours of the day. We pay full price to use ALL of the equipment Herre. I'm not even sure the that all of the people in her class are members. It's a little unfair that I pay a monthly membership and a club enhancement fee TWICE a year just to be told I can't use equipment that's vital to my training program.
Good job Anytime fitness. You take our money and won't let us use the equipment and will not update or even maintenance the busted equipment we do have access to!

The lady who does classes from 5 to 6pm is control freak. it was 15 min before her class started and only bikes in the place is in her class room. I would have been done by time class started, but i asked manager if i coudld take bike work out floor few feet outside the classroom, but class instructor told her no not even bands (or bike) that will not be needed for her class could be used outside her class. Manager is beyond fearful of the class lady and could only follow what class lady said and make class from 430 pm to 6 pm making even more difficult for people to work out.

The equipment is older and has to be serviced often,the manager is the best part of the entire gym. She really has a heart of gold it's her bosses that caused the delay in all actions,, the gym don't have much motivation in it ,, it's mainly for younger new gym members and elder people,, one on one fitness is a much better place to elevate your health and fitness here in Henderson,, none are better than all hours in carthage though....period .

I go to this gym a minimum of 3 times a week, maybe 5, and I am very pleased with management. Manager continues to work hard to keep the gym clean and in working order. Good job Teri!!!

I'm very satisfied with this gym. The manager works hard to give everyone a clean, safe environment to workout. During this season of COVID 19, it's comforting to know the manager takes our safety seriously and enforces the "keep the equipment clean" requirement. Equipment is always in working order. If something needs repair or replacing, it's done in a timely manner. Music is kept to a level that does not interfere with your own music, via earbuds. Variety of equipment and specific areas, such as the cross fit room, allow you to get a complete and total workout. Should you have any problems or suggestions, she's open to your thoughts and ideas. I enjoy my workouts once again. I invite you to come see for yourself.

Refused to cancel my contract despite a pandemic. Then charged me 3 times for one month and didnt answer the phone (during buisness hours) I have to cancel my bank account to get them to stop pulling out extra payments.
If you are allowed to then why did your employee say otherwise? She said there was no way without a dr. Note. The employee needs to be fired, also she is over charging me, I have 4 charges for November, and 3 for October. That is theft, my bank has stopped letting your company take out payment since it was obviously fraudulent. DO NOT USE THIS GYM. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

The gym is always immaculate clean. The cleaner always does a great job at making sure the equipment is cleaned and sanitized. The manager always greets the members as you walk in. Recommend very much!

Since you asked, honestly I wish I could cancel my membership, when I signed up my son had a table he could sit at and play while I worked out but that was removed and hes now banned from even sitting quietly in a chair so its difficult for me to even get to come. The trainer and manager are rarely there and dont seem very friendly when they are. Rachel was always on the floor offering encouragement and tips and the one time I've seen employees there recently they stayed in the offices the entire time I was there. Very unimpressed.

Clean gym with lots of equipment but a bit overpriced and they could be better about staying on top of repairs. Tanning beds are always broken and it's not unusual for several other pieces to be out of order, but theres normally not very many people here and you can workout without being bothered.

My husband canceled his contract after the 2 years. He was then still deducted for 2 months after! He called the office many of times and no one answered. Then we got in touch with the “manager” at that time that said she sent it to corporate and they would reimburse his money and got in contact with Cleveland and he still hasn’t called back! Called corporate and they haven’t received ANYTHING! They didn’t know anything about it. He is still waiting and it’s been 6 months. Professionalism is terrible here. I wouldn’t suggest it for anyone.

Great place to work out. I noticed they are doing sheetrock repair and painting the place. I do hope that they will get some real lockers instead of the bookshelves they are using. That and the parking lot are my only complaints. Maybe they could get a truck full of asphalt and we people in the gym could shovel it out for workout. LoL.

Several pieces of equipment do not work at all or do not function correctly. There are leaks in the ceiling and the power goes off a lot . I checked the dollar store next door and there power is still on. They not only charge an outrageous monthly fee but also a $19 annual upkeep fee. Where is the upkeep?

The two ellipticals closest to the wall don't work.. well one of them shuts off after 3 minutes then you have to start over. The other one stays at 1 speed you can't change it. It's very dirty. There's always kids running around on Saturday mornings

I wish I could give zero stars! Signed an 18 month contract and only went the first month (4 times) due to surgeries..in 18 whole months. No problem. Now that the contract is up they are still auto deducting payments...because now I'm on a "month to month" contract. When I called 2 months ago to see when the contract ended they failed to tell me that part, but I was very adamant about it finally being over since I didn't use and they still didn't inform me of that. Now today I go up there to cancel the contract of the contract and find out I can cancel, but not before one more payment is deducted next month. Which no one bothered to tell me that yesterday when I called inquiring. So I'm highly upset and guess what?? The lady said she cannot give out the contact information of the owners!?! "She'll try to get someone in contact with me in 24-48 hours. What kind of business is this? She was also mighty annoyed by me asking questions about MY contract! Disputes are gonna happen in life but if you cannot resolve them in a PROFESSIONAL manner without rolling your eyes (yes I saw it several times), completely ignoring me, or grunting (which I finally had to call her out on) then customer relations is not for you. Never once was I mean or ugly to her and I felt all kinds of disrespect. Not saying anything about the other staff because of course I don't know them. Needles to say I felt angry and still have unresolved questions. First time ever signing a contract with anyone besides cars or houses and will NEVER do it again thanks to the unethical business of ANYTIME FITNESS IN HENDERSON. READ YOUR CONTRACTS UP AND DOWN BEFORE SIGNING. Rant over..

I love this gym! My mother and I and originally got started at one of the Tyler locations but ended up not liking it because it was to busy during the times that we could go. Since this location is just as close to home we decided to give it a try and we love it! Even during the busy times you don't ever feel like people are crowding in on you and equipment is always accessible. The place has friendly staff that is quick to get on top of any issues that may arise.
