Absolute joke of a gym that steals your money. I haven’t had a contract there since February of this year and they are still charging me. I have called, left voicemails and emailed and have got no response. Paid for “personal training” got one session and then the trainer quit, was told I would get a refund and still haven’t gotten that either. That’s over $900 stolen. Even have proof of cancellation! I would steer clear of this place

I like the gym but the constant lack of wipes or paper towels to clean equipment is very frustrating.

This gym is way better than the other local big brand gyms. It's relatively small but it never feels cramped and people are actually there to work out instead of taking pictures of themselves.

The temperature and sound levels are appropriate and the other members and staff are polite. There is always close parking available which is both great for leg days and for not having to worry about someone breaking into your car like those other places.

Staff were very polite and straightforward, which I can appreciate in a setting like a gym where you can feel pressured to get a membership. Has a great variety of equipment. I travel with my husband for work, and I’ve been to numerous Anytime fitness locations and has always noticed employees sanitizing vacant equipment during the day. Would like to see steady sanitizing of equipment by employees at Liberty Hills location. Especially during peak hours.
2x2 santi wipe that’s supplied can only do so much by members. Other than that, decent location.

Good gym. Relaxed atmosphere, no pressure, Good variety of equipment. Not over crowded. The App is helpful and centered on the user. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is that the Liberty Hill location does not have locker rooms, coaching or classes - other locations do, Do have showers, and cubbies for your stuff. But if you just want cool place to do your thing among friendly people, then this perfect!

I moved and forgot to cancel my membership. After paying for 3-4 months I contacted them to cancel. I called a few times during staff hours, no one was there. I left a voicemail notifying them I wanted to cancel. I was told via text that I needed to send them certified mail stating my intention to cancel. I work during post office hours. Pretty disappointing for a gym I was loyal to for 3-4 years.

I am not a review writing person. Certainly not a negative review person. But I felt it important to share my interaction with this gym in hopes of protecting others that might be impacted in the same way. Last year, with the war in Ukraine, historic inflation, record gas prices, etc, my industry was all but shut down. I scrambled to get back up and part time work, to protect our home, etc. While things are stabilizing, thank God, they are by no means recovered. Thus, we will be working our way out of this for God knows how long. I shared our circumstances with the local owner last year, and she said she'd put my account on hold for a bit, but after that she had every intention of immediately coming after us. Which she has done. I had planned on resuming with the gym when things were stabilized. Obviously, that is no longer realistic. This lack of empathy saddens me and is not what our small local Texas community is about. I've seen reports that there are new fitness option opening here in Liberty Hill. I strongly recommend you hold out for the many alternatives coming soon. I do not wish any ill will on anyone. My only hope is that, as more competition comes to Liberty Hill, this gym eventually understands that sometimes the world can put good people in difficult circumstances, and every now and then, there are more important things than hitting your quota.

Terrible policies. Even my bank kept flagging their charges as fraudulent. Every time they contacted me to get it rectified, and of course I had to pay an extra fee. Of course they were trying to collect money in that case. But try to cancel your membership, after almost 2 years, and you are required to either come in person during office hours. Which are only 29 hours a week. Or send them a certified letter. Ridiculous. Definitely do not recommend to anyone. And btw, they want a 30 day notice to cancel, so they can squeeze a little more money out of you before you're done. They will respond to an email you send them to cancel, telling you they want you to send them a certified letter to cancel though, that's helpful.

I have been trying to cancel my membership with this gym for a while now. I cannot afford it. I’m past due on the account. it’s to the point now I’m getting collections letters. I’ve offered to pay any fees an jump through any hoops. They will not compromise with me, they won’t even give me the time of day to listen to my concerns. HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THE FINE PRINT ON A CONTRACT!!! Please be aware. An don’t let this company scam you like they did me. I will take legal action if necessary.

Great place to workout. I can work around my schedule. You have a nice mix of beginners and serious lifters. For the most part, I don’t see anyone coming here socially or to display their new outfit or body parts. Has about 90% of what you need including TRX, workout videos like P90x, and heavy bag. Some of the limitations: one shower per individual non-sex restroom, no bench (must use power racks with a mobile bench), and limited bumper plates (plenty of regular plates). Generally not busy so not an issue to use equipment. My favorite commercial gym due to the ability to use during travels and humble environment.

Manager is unprofessional, pushy, and judgy. Hand sanitizer and hand soap is frequently out. Have attempted to reach out to the owners multiple times about harassment and have heard nothing back. It’s really a shame that this is the only gym in town.

Workers will follow you out to your car and confront you if they have issues and will point at you while talking about you to other members. They will also follow you outside trying to sell personal training packages. Have recorded conversations of the manager confronting people in the gym to pass on to corporate. It is a perfect example of a gym that doesn’t care. Management is the problem and calls to corporate about the manager doesn’t matter either as they don’t call back.. It’s the only tradition gym in town. Very sad.

Very dishonest business! Facilities smell. Staff ok. But they are an unethical business! During the pandemic, they locked their doors. Fine. But they did not forward/answer their phone, reply to voicemail, nor reply to emails.

I left messages, sent email, even did research to find their national contact information. Did everything in my power to cancel my membership.

... I got a call back in september, if you can believe it. Too late!

Now they're sending debt collectors after me for services not rendered, and that I made every reasonable effort to cancel. I am sorry that they went through bankruptcy, but the pandemic was hard on everyone!

Feels like I’m working out in a gym from communist China. 40+ cameras to stalk your every move and staff to miff you upon entrance. Also, they use this surveillance to fine you for little things like forgetting to re-rack weights or bringing a guest. I’ve never heard of a gym fining it’s members like this and $250 is extreme for just bringing a guest. Not the best franchise in my opinion, would look elsewhere.

I would have given 5 star, its clean, good equipment, however you cant use the area with floor space that has the TRX, bands and so forth when they have a class. Also, if you are doing your own exercise way before the class is even there, they start to show up they will make you uncomfortable enough to leave the area as they push you out with their mats. Other anytimes i goto allow you to use the floor space and equipment during classes. I goto anytime because I can customize my exercise around my schedule. I don't know yours.

Open 24 hours a day for registered members, given a key fob for entry.

Staff is available for registration Monday thru Friday, at differing times. Best to call in advance for a registration appointment. The person stayed later than usual in order for us to register after work.

There is also a fitness instructor for those that wish some educational advice. You can schedule times into the early evening for those who come after work.

For we seniors, there is a twice weekly group exercise class, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost of each class is pretty cheap, less than a meal option at the Dairy Queen east of the gym.

There are two combination toilet and walk in showers, with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is a shower seat available for those that need it.

There are cleaning cloth stations at various locations.

There is a water machine available to fill your water bottle, along with two water fountains.

I hope this answers your questions and concerns. My wife and I have been members since August 2017. We live in an RV, sometimes we just use the gym for the showers but it gives us the excuse to get I some exercise beforehand.

If you wanna convince yourself and your 40% fat bodies that you’re getting a great workout in look no further ! Everyone around you is equally inept on how to approach fitness and wellness. The personal trainers look just as out of shape as you! Perfect blind leading the blind situation. Hilarious excuse to overcharge the equivalent of a hotel gym. With my busy schedule, I tend to work out at very random times. I had a great experience at this anytime fitness location, and there was nearly always equipment that I needed available. The gym is usually very clean and the machines are in good condition. I would recommend this location!

Expensive, no lockers and irritating signs. I had to buy the little chip key to get in for $50. They wouldn't "buy" it back when the contract was over. $40 a month for 18 months with contract and yearly upgrade charges that will vary. They charge extra for classes. Other places are a lot cheaper. They didn't have lockers and only two bathrooms to change. About every other time I'd go change I would have someone pulling on the door trying to get in. I would take about 5 min to change and have had to leave to go to the bathroom because both where occupied for more then 15min. They just have these open Ikea boxes righe by the entrance to put your stuff in. I don't know about you but I'm not leaving my wallet out in the open around a bunch of strangers and high schoolers. They had signs all over with stupid rules. Limit 30 min on cardiovascular during busy times, no talking on cellphones, SCAN YOUR PASS EVERY TIME YOU ENTER, pay for the food you take we are watching you. It seemed like every time I went they had a new sign of things not to do. I feel if their is a problem with what a member is doing talk to them don't just put up stupid signs hoping they will see it. The staff was always very nice.
