Do not come to this gym! … we got ripped off pretty bad we were getting charged double every month , almost $200 a month for several months LOL for this ridiculous little old gym . We tried to reason with Al but he did not refund us , even blocked our number from calling him it’s been months with no response. Sad that we have to get a lawyer involved.

I initially loved this location- Donna is great! but after having an ongoing issue over not receiving a refund when the owner assured me I would be getting one, I would not get a membership here again. The first 2 times I called over this issue the owner immediately answered, but since then I have not heard a single word back, all calls go to voicemail, and no refund received. There’s many other locations, I recommend those over this one.

I love the gym here. It's rarely crowded and has plenty of equipments to use. Everyone was really nice especially Alfonso. It's a great place to getting in a great workout while being close to home.

I just went to this facility last morning and I loved the amount of quality equipment and atmosphere. It reminded me so much, though not as big, as the Audi Murphy gym from Fort Benning. Will definitely keep coming back.

This gym is very spacious with a wonderful variety of both free weights and machines. It is always clean and offers numerous cleaning stations with both hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes. The fact that it’s open 24 hours makes it possible for me to bring my son with special needs when the gym is quiet and not crowded. The single person bathrooms are also helpful and offer privacy. Al has always been extremely accommodating and encouraging of us! We really appreciate him!

This is the best gym in San Antonio. The Owner and trainers are always welcoming like family quite frankly feel like the neighborhood gym that everyone goes to and knows everyone. During the snow storm this gym opened its doors to me to use their bathrooms because I was out of power and water. Thank you Al. We appreciate you and all you do.

I’m Obsessed With this location!
During covid, Al (the new owner) did an excellent job with supplying the gym with cleaning equipment and making sure all disinfected wipes were stalked and available. Then when gyms were able to re open he surprised us members with new equipment, a brand new turf floor and replaced all old treadmills/out of date cardio machines. The most respectful, clean environment you could ask for. Even the members are friendly and enjoyable to be around. You gotta get a membership ASAP!

I’ve been going to this gym for almost three weeks and continue to be impressed by the attention paid not only to cleanliness, availability of hand sanitizer, masks, and cleaning products, but to the feeling that Al, the owner, and Donna, my trainer, actually care about me as a person. They remember my name, my routine, that I was sore 2 days ago.. lol. It feels like I’ve known them forever. It’s like walking into “Cheers” ( if you remember that show). It makes me look forward to going to this gym. Plus, they notice that I’ve made progress because they are always there. I’ve been a member at other gyms, but I really like it here... it feels homey. I feel safe from the COVID perspective and I feel my goal has become their goal. If you’re looking for a gym “home”, check it out. Trust me, you’ll be happy. #AlsAnytimeFitnessRocks

I love the anytime fitness franchise for the most part , but I went in this particular location and felt like taking a nap right away . Can someone tell me why they have such poor lighting in this gym ? Day or night it’s the same thing , you can barely see the equipment inside, I didn’t even get to see what the rest of the gym looked like , I walked right out I was so disappointed.

This is one of the better locations for Anytime Fitness. It's not as busy as the others and has a great selection of gear. The TRX equipment is a great addition and there is a shower available for use. As with any gym, don't come right after work if you want to avoid crowds!

you can call them for 3/4 days straight during their "business hours" & they won't answer a single call or respond to a voice message, Adding to that they play the most horrible passive music you can think of for a "GYM". sanitation is "okay" although you might find the trash cans full for a or two....

This place leaves the air conditioner at 90 degrees at night!!!! What in the world are these people thinking!!!!!!! The air conditioner control pad is locked... very nice! This place is a sauna!

This is the worst gym EVER. I’ve gone to a lot of them in SA and none of them are nice. I signed a 1 year contract with them and the lady I signed up with at the Huebner location didn’t tell me that if I don’t want to keep getting charged after the year is up I need to cancel it. After a year I moved 3 hours out of San Antonio. And they keep charging me I tried to call them and they told me I need to call ABC financial to cancel, so I tried calling them and they told me I need to go into the location at which I signed my contract. I live 3 hours away!! I can’t waste all the gas and everything to go cancel something! Ridiculous that they don’t tell you that when you sign up and that they don’t value there customers enough to care to do something when you tell them you weren’t told a VERY big detail about when the contract is up at the beginning.

Staffed hours are totally disrespected. If you try to arrive when the manager is there, they are most likely not. I think this is a strategy to make canceling difficult. The actual gym is okay. It’s rare that the bathroom is clean and has paper towels.

Great neighborhood gym. I was traveling for business and was accommodated by friendly staff. Thank you for that. It has everything you need to get a good workout.

The customers that I met were all friendly. I subtracted one star because there's only 1 men's shower. This makes it difficult to get an early morning workout, shower, and make it to work on time. Other than that, it's all good.

I really like how people that attend anytime fitness are serious about their workout. I've been to other gyms where people are goofing off or taking selfies. People here just want to get in, bang out their training, and get on with their life.

Also there's a good mix of age ranges that attend. I'm 39 and it's nice to see fit seniors in the gym.. It helps me to remember that it's possible to stay fit for the rest of my life.

Well, since management seems intent on ignoring me, I figured I'd write a review. I actually like the gym for the most part, but the cleanliness is becoming a big issue. I let management know about this over two months ago and the situation hasn't changed. The same spot that looks like a protein drink had spilled on the floor still hasn't been cleaned. I was also told that some of the weight accessories that were showing signs of wear would be replaced and this has not happened either. I emailed management a few days ago to remind them of these things and no one has responded; I assume they don't care. Frustrating because I'm not at all the type to nag and complain; in all honesty this review is probably long overdue. I'll probably look into somewhere else that takes cleanliness seriously.

Yes reviews a year ago were great. Not now. Cleanliness. Lack of clean toilets, lack of vacuuming, gross thick dust under machine's. Toilets with yellow on the sides and flecks of feces. I know then, machine's aren't being wiped. This is in men's womens and unisex bathrooms. We have left a note several days ago.

I don't think I can give this place a high enough rating on here! We've been with Anytime Fitness since just after it opened. We love it. The staff are so friendly, and they're pretty cool once you get to know them. The actual gym itself is great as well - it's a little on the smaller side (you won't find a suana or the like here), but it's got way more than enough machines. I've only had to change up my routine because something was being used once!

I started coming to this gym about 6 months ago after I moved to San Antonio. It's great. The staff is awesome, the owner really cares about the patrons, saying hi and asking how their fitness goals are coming along. It's a smaller gym, so there aren't a lot of people who you have to work around when you want to go. The only issue is that if there are more than 6 or 7 people in the gym, it can get crowded.
