AF Kallison continues to impress me! The facility is amazing; always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The gym community is fantastic too; everyone’s friendly, supportive, and always willing to help.

What I really want to highlight this time, though, are the coaches. I recently had the pleasure of working with Delaney and Francisco, and they are absolutely outstanding. Both have a warm, welcoming attitude, are incredibly professional, highly knowledgeable in their craft, and exceptionally patient.

I first spoke with Francisco months ago about doing some sessions. Even though he saw me at the gym regularly, he was never pushy; just friendly, always saying hello and offering help if I needed it. That kind of approach says a lot about his character and professionalism.

I highly recommend both Delaney and Francisco to anyone looking to get back in shape, fine-tune their fitness or nutrition routine, or simply take their workouts to the next level. These two can help with it all!

DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS. I had a terrible experience with this gym and would not recommend it to anyone. When I signed up, I was told that in order to cancel, I had to do it 30 days before the next billing cycle. On February12th, I went into the gym and told the front desk staff I needed to cancel my membership because I was moving to a new city. She assured me it was taken care of and that I would not receive a confirmation email, which already seemed unusual, but I trusted her.

A month later, I was still charged around $62, even though I had already moved and canceled in person. When I called the owner, he told me my membership was still “pending cancel” and that there was nothing he could do—I had to contact their financial institution. I did that, was told everything was fine, and assumed the issue was resolved.

Fast forward five months, and I receive a notification that my credit score dropped 50 points because this gym sent me to collections for almost $300! This is despite me canceling in person, confirming with both the staff and the owner, and even contacting the financial institution. At no point did anyone follow up with me, and I was completely left in the dark until it damaged my credit.

This is absolutely unacceptable. I followed their cancellation policy, did everything I was told, and still ended up with collections on my account and a major hit to my credit score. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, And PROPER COMMUNICATION —not to be strung along and blindsided like this.

I’ve been a member at Anytime Fitness since December of 2024. The gym has a good variety of equipment, from cardio machines to free weights, making it easy to get a full workout. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciate in a gym setting. The staff is friendly and always available to help with any questions or guidance. The 24/7 access, atmosphere, and staff make it a great place to work out. I’d definitely recommend it!

This gym is on the smaller side (it can get a bit crowded) but I did not mind working out here because it is closer than my home gym. Unfortunately, if you have active & fit they only allow a certain amount of swipes then they lock you out from coming here. Other than that the staff was always friendly and the gym is fairly clean. But if you are military/veteran and trying to save a dollar with the active & fit program this is not the place for you.

If that doesn’t apply definitely give this gym a try and unlike some of the other gyms in the area they always have staff available during the hours posted.

My wife and I have been working out at this Anytime Fitness location on Culebra for just over a year now. This gym is consistently one of the cleanest AF locations I have ever visited. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The equipment is taken care of and the owner, Robert, gets members’ input before adding additional equipment. He wants to make sure he gets what the members want. I’ve never seen that at any other AF location. Great gym with great staff!

This gym is very clean. I’m so glad I got the membership for my son and I. I scan my tag and walked in with my son who is also a member. We were immediately asked if we had our tags. Little surprise, no one else was asked. Who would want a $250 fine. As a business owner myself, I would never assume. There’s still some honest great people out there. It’s super clean! Friendly staff and solid equipment. There is an Option to lock your stuff up (this is not the case at other nearby location). Note there’s no usual “locker room”. Just have to change in what is essentially a single occupancy bathroom. For nearly 60/month, it’s a bit much. Otherwise solid gym!

I arrived to this location seeking a membership and Alena was extremely helpful in getting this accomplished quickly and professionally! This was the smoothest and most efficient process I have experienced when signing up for a gym. Alena did an excellent job in the explaining the memberships and all the benefits I was entitled to. There was a slight miscommunication on one of the terms as a promotion literally JUST expired, but Alena took the time out to call me later and clarify the error and apologize. She took accountability on behalf of the store and I think that speaks VOLUMES on the dedication and pride the staff has in ensuring that members are taken care of. The positive attitude of the staff makes coming to the gym a welcoming experience.

Additionally, the location is exceptionally clean and has available equipment even during rush hour. You get what you pay for!

I love this place. It’s a true neighborhood establishment. The owner is kinda creepy and bothers my roommate and I (we’re both girls under 25) anytime we come in whether it be before, during or after our workout so we try to avoid him at all cost.
Besides creep owner, the gym is pretty clean and I like that they have feminine supplies (pads, tampons, hair ties) in the women’s restroom.
Could have better variation of kettlebell weights and weighted balls. There’s also very little wall space for wall balls, wall sits, or handstand pushups against a wall.
Francisco, Stephanie and Angela are the few employees I’ve met and they’re so kind and helpful.
Pretty expensive to go here and the only reason I went with it was because of how close it was to my house.
Served me while it did but after experience with the owner, I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
Update - as the owner below mentioned, he didn’t allow me to bring in my mobility scooter that I have for my disability and wanted me to leave it outside and didn’t let my guests in although they paid the guest fee and signed the waiver. Almost forgot about those, thanks for the reminder. Only more reason to give my money to any other gym.

To deny Active&Fit members, which is a service provided to military families, in a high population military town, NEAR MILITARY BASES is outright greedy business practice. I come to this AF almost everyday.. the owner is here daily. Him and the staff work so hard to always keep the gym clean and nice with no broken equipment. I've been a member of this gym since Dec 2023 and absolutely love it! I can come in any time (day or night) and get my workout in. Robert and team are exceptional. I've never been to a gym so well maintained. I requested one item for lifting and Robert got it ordered within a few days. The people are great, the facilities are great, it doesn't get overly crowded and it's near by some amazing restaurants and shopping areas. I truly enjoy every time i go there and i can't thank the staff enough for their hardwork in keeping the gym clean and maintained. This is 100% better than my experience with Golds Gym off Culebra and 1604 where you have to wait 15 minutes for dumbbells. So glad I made the change!!

Anytime Fitness right off Talley road and Culebra is one of the most put together anytime fitness gyms I have been to in the San Antonio area. Robert the manager is top notch wonderful. From the moment they opened up until I became a family of the new gym, Robert and his staff has always been respectful, helpful, and knowledgeable. The gym offer programs such as yoga, and a well put together boot camp for reasonable prices. The gym is always clean along with the restrooms and showers. The gym has all the equipment you need to get in shape, and the trainers are always approachable and friendly. I highly recommend this gym 😎💪🏽.

I love this gym and it’s very convenient because I’m a student and work part-time. All the gym equipment is new and they’re adding more machines as time goes on. Every time I go in someone is always keeping the place tidy and clean. The trainers and the workers are very friendly especially the owner who’s the best. There’s protein shakes, snacks, and pre-workout to buy if you forget. Plus there’s hairbands and feminine products in the women’s restrooms - so they’re very accommodating. Anytime Fitness might be good but my experience with this location so far hasn't been.
This location reported my one-star review because I'm not a member there so this is why I give it one. I inquired about a free pass on the website, entered my email and phone number. I got a call back and when I asked about the free trial pass I was told I can buy one for $25, Then why advertise try for free? The Anytime Fitness website says they accept the Silver Sneakers program but this location doesn't, which is kind of a big deal for me because I am disabled and my insurance offers The Silver Sneakers benefit to help with my physical therapy.

Great experience! There is always enough equipment available, enough wipes to wipe down the equipment and a water refill station. Everything is new and clean and the music is not overwhelming. The owner or an employee has always been around during the times I have gone in. Terrific experience. Hands on management team keeping entire space clean and neat. Space is excellent, high ceilings with terrific air circulation system. All equipment is brand new, state of the art, with plenty of space between each unit. My only concern is what will happen when the secret of this place gets out!

The gym is Amazing. The Employees are very kind, and the owner is very welcoming. Gym is not over crowded. You can feel comfortable. Gym is open 24/7. Equipment is always clean.
