I’ve never been greeted at any AF; however, it was a nice surprise for someone to say hi when I walked in and acknowledge me when I left since I hadn’t trained at this location yet. I definitely don’t expect this every day but nice to see they pay attention when someone is new to their facility.

I wasn’t the only one in the facility but there was plenty of room and all the other guests were courteous when passing by. Also, maybe the cleanest one I’ve been to and the energy inside was so great.

An outstanding gym. The equipment, staff expertise, and environment are all first class. Mike gets involved with the members and creates a great atmosphere. It’s a place where professionalism meets fun and social interactions. It feels like a welcoming club and the members themselves contribute to the vibe. Joined this gym about a month ago and it was my first time in the gym setting in a while. It’s been a perfect fit! It has everything you would need and some extras. It feels safe and everyone is friendly. The manager, Mike, is super welcoming and kind. It’s been such a great experience!

I loved my visit to AF Thousand Oaks! It was well designed, clean, had everything you need. I’ve been to a lot of AF’s and this has been one of the better ones for sure. You can tell the owner or manager takes good care of the place. Well done y’all.

About a year or two ago the owner threw a fit and paused my membership so I couldn’t get in because I left a bad review. Unless they have new management from then, the owner is still very unprofessional and immature. If it is the same owner, don’t be surprised if you see the way he responds to this review as hostile and aggressive.

Had a terrible interaction with the gym manager. In my opinion the gym just cares about the money from its members. This is the first anytime fitness location i have had a bad experience at. The manager told me he was only doing what the owner told him to.

The Olmos Park and Castle Hills locations are better facilities with better management.

Easy to find, for its location it is much and enough equipment needed to get a good overall full body workout in. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Updated equipment and even refreshments such as water and energy drinks plus protein drinks. Great lighting and AC too.

Its small, but it does have pretty much everything you need and it feels cleaner and newer. Both times I’ve gone so far it hasn’t been busy which is nice! They do have a water filter (not at many AFs), squat rack, good selection of free weights and dumbbells, and a cooler for pre workout drinks if you need that boost!

This gym has almost everything you need in a quality weight lifting gym. It’s relatively empty which means no waiting around to use machines or squat racks. It’s kept very clean including the restrooms. It would be nicer if there were clean towels provided and a back extension machine as well as a lat pull down machine but if you don’t mind sitting in the floor and using cables you’ll be fine.

Honestly, one of the BEST Anytime Fitness gyms I’ve ever been to in SATX. The owner, Chris really does take the initiative to keep the gym clean and tidy at all times. Gym cleaniness is extremely important to me and this gym exceeds that expectation. It’s always a great workout experience at this gym. Do yourself a favor and sign up! You won’t regret it ☺️

Really enjoy coming here. I feel as if the gym is always readily available to be used to my development. The equipment is new and the layout is balanced. Has a great area for warming up or using it for HIIT workouts. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to workout with little to no distractions.

This has been my favorite AF location since they reopened back in November! New owner and a new trainer who will greet and encourage you during your lift! They have all new equipment and keep it clean so you don’t have to stress an out the sweat and germs! Can’t wait until they start the group training classes!

Very clean and always a good experience going in and working out. Only thing I would say is maybe provide paper towels in the rest room. I know there is hand driers but always nice to have them to not only dry hands but wipe off your forehead. lol.

There is absolutely no professionalism at this location, dont sign up here unless you want a lack of commumication resulting in them taking your money out of your bank account for a gym that supposedly said they were going to permanently close and that if you didnt transfer they would cancel your membership. Those were their words back in March when covid began to hit hard, and now it turns out they reopened in the summer without notifying me about them reopening. And they had been taking money from my bank account sense march when they said they were permanently closing. That is the lowest thing to do, charging someone for a service that wasnt available, and when it became available, not notifying me. Absolute nonsense from the owner of this location. If you want to be paying bills even after you didnt renew your membership with them, come here.

Is as described. I'm a month in and all seems as promised. Prices about 8 dollars per month too high. It seems personal trainers use the location as there workspace. No conflicts with that but seems odd. A gymnasium is like your car. You get what you put into it. I wish it had a sauna.

Trying to find a gym to join and went by their office clearly posted that there should be somebody there to talk to on a Wednesday at 3:30. Nobody there called twice and you can't even leave a voicemail. So how the heck am I supposed to find out if I like your gym or not? If you have a sign that says someone's going to be there to staff it then you better have somebody there to staff it.

Be aware...when you try to cancel your membership they try to tell you, you have an annual contract as opposed to a monthly! Getting in to their gym is easy....getting out is a whole other story. Also their TV's don't work most of the time. I do not recommend this gym.

I have been a member for a while and I was visiting this location while in town on business. While I like the convenience of the location the gym was a little dated for me. The elliptical machine was my main concern as the machines were older. This is my main start when coming to the gym. Apparently my heartbeat was only 55 on this machine and when I reversed to pedal backwards all my data was erased. I think I will try another location that has more up to date machinery to fit my needs.
