Buyer beware!! I’ve had my membership here for 11 months and every time I’ve gone in, the gym is absolutely filthy. There’s dust all over every machine, dust CLUMPS all over the floor and in the corners, the walls and mirrors are filthy, the cubby area for personal items is always sticky and gross, and today there was standing water over by the smith machine. This is how people get sick. A gym is supposed to be cleaned and well maintained. This gym absolutely fails at that. All of the equipment is old and outdated. Good luck trying to get your complaint anywhere, “allegedly” anytime fitness does not have a corporate office to contact. I’ve left messages and contacted everyone I could get a hold of and there has been absolutely no follow up. I am cancelling my membership next month because of this. Which I have also found is extremely difficult to do, I have gotten nothing but the run around.
I found a better, cleaner gym with updated machines in town that will get my business instead. Please do
better!!!

Edit: In response to the comment back, I don’t want to talk about it. I’m already past that point.
I just want it addressed while I wait for my membership to expire.

I want to give a huge shout-out to Katie who I spoke to at Anytime Fitness. She was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we got on the phone, she was incredibly friendly, understanding, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of smoothly. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely listens and makes the process so easy. Her customer service skills are top-notch, and she really made me feel valued as a member. Thanks to her, I’m left with a really positive impression of Anytime Fitness. Definitely a five-star experience!

Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone or respond to an email. Tried calling to cancel membership at least 10 times at all different times of the day, sent emails, nothing. Now since I placed a stop payment on the card, they sent it to collections and screwed my perfect credit up. Livid

My cousin and I have both reached out for memberships via phone call with voicemail as well as drop in during business hours and last via email with no response. Needless to say that this particular gym has lost 2 members potentially 3 in total. My advice is to get your membership at a different location and then use this occasionally when needed.

The gym itself is fine and serves its purpose. However, canceling your membership here is a different story. I submitted my cancelation form under Kristie’s ownership, and she never processed it. When the new owner took over, he also took his time to process it. I went up to the gym to speak to the new owner about getting a refund and was denied because I did not have proof I submitted the form in person. This was never disclosed to me that I had to do this nor in my contract. Texas state law also does not require this.

Stay away from this place if you’re moving to Sanger. Terrible service from management. We cancelled in November and it took them to March to actually cancel the account. We were charged each month even though we had submitted paperwork cancelling. Won’t refund us even though they know the paper work shows when we cancelled. They said they “forgot” to file our cancellation letter. Shady business. Stay away!

I like the gym it's pretty decent. The deal breaker for me is that the hot water never works in the shower. Working out before work, I'd like to take a shower. They don't seem to care to fix it either. Limted bathrooms as well. Unlike other anytime fitness, these bathrooms aren't 🚻 they are dedicated to the gender on the door. So, like so many times, if the men's room is locked, you're SOL.

Trying to get pricing from them was like pulling teeth. I still don't know how much it costs, they never would say. The person was sure to get snarky that a 6 months paid in full program was not considered a contract because it did not automatically renew.

Love this gym. As others have mentioned, it is always clean. I see the manager constantly working to keep the place spotless. She also provided amenities I’ve never seen at other gyms or even other ATF gyms.

This gym is awesome. It's always clean and the staff are attentive and helpful.

I did see a poor review from another member calling it a trash gym. This other member for one, lacks the grammar skills to write a decent review. Two, was always on his phone, cussing out loud and irritating other members. Management spoke to him and hurt his feelings, thus resulting in the poor review.

Great little gym that does as much as it can with the space that it has. I'm giving 5 stars because the gym does absolutely everything that it can with the space that it has and that needs to be highlighted. As far as gyms go, it's VERY small but that isn't their fault. Ownership is attentive and efficacious and you can tell this by the attention to small details.

Gym is good but not a lot of open space. That's not a bad thing for me but I know others probably wouldn't like it. Showers are better than most but the dead crickets kinda suck. Water pressure isn't the gyms fault, it's the city's fault.

I’ve been to only one gym that’s nicer but it costs me close to 90$ a month this is an amazing gym. I was surprised on how low to price is. Everyone is really nice and racks their weights. The place is clean and the equipment is well maintained and you have a good selection of machines, cables, cardio machines and free weights.

I've been going here a few years now, and this gym is great. All fitness areas are clean, equipment is clean and well maintained. It's a smaller gym, typical of the franchise I think, with 24/7 access pick a time that works for you! 😁

Terrible!!!! decided to cancel my membership within the 3 day grace period back in January 2022, we are now in March and I have still not received my money back. Update: emailed them this morning didn't get a reply, tried calling they never answer, so I had to drive up there to see about my refund, Kristie tells me she read my email and seen my review. Okay so you saw my email but decide not to reply? I had to drive up there to recieve a reply and my refund. Frustrating situation. They are quick to reply when you want to sign up though.

I love going here! It’s affordable, not super crowded and I’ve never had to wait for a treadmill. I love the studio with the work out videos! It’s like a workout video jukebox and I’ve never had to wait on that either.

As a graybeard, I'm a member of "Silver Sneakers" so my membership here is free. If you're in Silver Sneakers, you owe it to yourself to use this excellent facility.

Over the years I've lost count of the gyms I've used. And this one is very good. The people are friendly, the place is clean and well lit, the equipment is new and well maintained. Better yet, I can go in anytime.

On the better side of the news, I'm losing weight. My goal is 2 lbs a week and between diet and exercise, I'm hitting my marks. I'm also firming up and getting toned. Lots of aches and pains in my graybeard body are easing up. Yeah, life is getting better!

Highly recommended to anyone, especially fellow members of the silver haired set.

Hahaha, I was interested in going to a local gym here in Sanger, Texas so I figured I'd check out Anytime Fitness. This gym franchise is a strip mall gym charging health club prices with a 1\4 of the equipment and facilities. $150 just to start up, $50 for your security key, $50 for admin, and $50 a month going forward. That's without a contract. If you sign up for a year or two year contract, prices drop moderately, but in this day and age where life happens and people move often for work and family, I'm very surprised to find this business model alive and well in Texas.

Listen, if you're looking for a gym to hang-out and talk so you feel better about yourself next time you look in the mirror, then there are several superficial gyms to choose from in the Sanger area....Anytime Fitness Isn't One Of those GYMS! The folks at Anytime Fitness (Sanger), are PROS, plain and simple! They strive for "real" results that only come from a lifestyle of fitness. The other gyms seemed to imply that I would need the more expensive membership if I was going to see "real results".
Want to know which gym in Sanger is the FILTHIEST? I know, because I was there this morning just before I contacted AF. Look, before a gym starts to tell me about their 1962 YMCA gym equipment, explain the huge "dust tumble-weeds" that I almost tripped over when I tried to go to the bathroom that was out of order!
After I wasted my time walking into the gym for s quote, I try another "Newer" gym in Sanger. It was clean, but the first question I asked was "What are your hours?" As soon as the employee said "l don't know, let me check", I walked out. He was the first face I spoke to and he didn't know what time the gym opens!?
If you want knowledgeable staff coupled with great, CLEAN equipment, then your wasting your time going anywhere but Anytime Fitness! I spoke to "Zack" with AF this morning and was honestly shocked by the difference in knowledge and professionalism compared to the other gyms I visited.
Not only did Zack have a great understanding of the operation at that location, he also gave me great information on other AF gyms in other areas for when I travel with work. Zack actually knew the peak traffic days and times so I could plan my workouts during slower traffic times versus peak traffic times! The other gym DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TIME THEY OPENED FOR BUSINESS, and this guy at Anytime Fitness could tell me the days and times to workout to avoid the rush!

You want a gym that offers great flexibility to their members!? Anytime Fitness.
You want a clean facility, the newest equipment, and a knowledgeable Staff!? Anytime Fitness.
You want a gym that makes you say "NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!"
