Extremely unprofessional and dishonest experience.

I was a member at Anytime Fitness and asked the manager to pause my membership. He assured me it would be paused and that I wouldn’t be charged—but they continued to charge my account anyway. When I tried to resolve it, I received no real help. The staff is rarely available, they don’t return calls, and customer service has been disrespectful and unresponsive.

This gym has shown a complete lack of integrity and professionalism. Also, the gym is not worth the $50 a month — equipment is average at best, and the overall experience doesn’t justify the price. I would completely avoid this
location and take your money elsewhere.

If you have allergies or would like a semi clean workout facility this is not the place. It doesn't seem like anyone cleans here ever, this dust acculmation is from a long time of no cleaning. I have been coming to this gym for over a year, as it’s very close to home and easy to get to. It has what you need to get a decent workout in and isn’t usually busy during the day time. However, the gym is consistently dirty and poorly maintained. Equipment is outdated, breaks constantly, and often feels unsafe to use. While the manager, Marc, does his best with what little he has, it’s seems investing in the facility is not high on the owners list of priorities.

I’ve been a member with AF since 2020, used a few locations while travelling & this is my second one being my ‘home’ gym.

Since I’ve been using this gym (a few years now) I’ve noticed a decline in equipment & feedback from the gym.
- cable attachments breaking & not being replaced.
-every other month something in the gym is being re-glued to be held together until the next session of adhesive is added.
-requests for new machines or equipment go with out updates or seemingly consideration from the Owner.
-the towels the last few months are damp when you enter most of the time, I know they are clean but why are they already moist?
-the past week there has been a foul smell on & off depending on the plumbing I am thinking, almost as if you’re walking into a festival for passing gas & then after ~20minutes it will disappear.
-the landmine attachment needs to be rebolted into the floor, the screws anchoring it are loose & pose a potential hazard.
- The manager Marc seemingly does his best to stay on top of things but I can’t help but notice he is the only employee & trying to stay on top of everything which places a strain on things that need to be done.

There are many members who feel these are all valid points as they are discussed weekly among them. Some member have even relocated to other franchises. It feels as if our feedback isn’t being considered which makes us feel as though we are not valued members.

The gym is a refuge for many to pursue goals, blown off steam, etc. After a while giving our feedback to the manager (Marc) with no results on new equipment & concerns seems more like we are pestering him on a daily basis- even though he says it doesn’t bother him & he will look into it, how many times can you ask him the same questions? There seems no way to speak directly with the owner & it’s frustrating as the location is convenient. Some changes & member updates need to be put in place to maintain this gym as a valued space for its members.

This location is typically very clean and almost never packed! I love that the studio is more private than other Anytime locations. There is only 1 stair master but because it’s usually empty I’ve never had to wait for long. Both the stair master and treadmills face the window, which is great for those of us that like dissociating while torturing ourselves with cardio while also avoiding accidental staring 😝

I like that the gym is close to the neighborhood because it’s really hard to find a gym that’s Nearby. A lot of the gyms are either 30 minutes to 20 minutes away Which takes up a lot of time.
I like that they don’t close in their 24/7. However, I do wish that they would upgrade their leg press machine. I also think it would be cool if they allowed you to bring a guest every Now and then Because there will be times where I have to go to a gym that’s 30 to 20 minutes away just because I can’t bring my friend. That’s one of the inconveniences Because sometimes I would like to bond with my friend by Inviting them to the gym and well I’m not allowed to because they don’t allow guests unless they put their credit card down and Sell them the membership right then there.
Other than it doesn’t get packed the times I go which I appreciate it because I have access to the machines I want and don’t have to wait. I do wish the members were friendlier And said hi at least, people just try to ignore each other and don’t look at one another.

WORST GYM EVER!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM. First of all, the monthly membership is way too expensive for what this gym offers. Its so small. Equipment would be damaged, sweaty, and dusty. The gym itself is so dirty and unsanitary. My fiancé and I tried to cancel and thats when Marc, the manager, informed us about the two year contract that we were never told about when signing up. We were moving far from the gym and we have a gym where we live at now. There’s no point in paying for a membership. We did everything we could to cancel the membership and showed them proof that we were moving. We would call, no answer. Email, no answer. We went in person and manager couldn’t cancel it. There was also no way in getting in contact with the owner to cancel the membership. What kind of business is that. The owner will avoid you to not cancel your membership. Now we have to pay almost 2k. RIDICULOUS!

This gym is inexcusably dirty and unsanitary. The condition is unacceptable, with torn mats, equipment covered in dust and old sweat, and even a dead cockroach smashed on the wall for over two weeks. Oh. And I can’t count HOW many times I’ve heard ppl complain about tripling over the lifting mat by the squat racks (I’ve tripped many times myself as well).

The decline in membership is no surprise; the facility is visibly neglected and unclean. Their overpriced memberships for such a basic and small gym are audacious. At nearly $50 a month, you're better off at a private gym that values its paying customers. Save your money and invest a few extra minutes in driving to a cleaner gym with amenities and well-maintained equipment.

When an owner prioritizes money over their gym members, this is the result I guess. And the contracts are 2 years long fyi.

Watch out for the owner if you're going to inquire bout getting a membership or trying to get one. The Anytime Fitness Treaschwig location for me personally is the best gym I’ve ever been a member of. The gym manager who is also my personal trainer Coach Marc Rhodes changed my life for the better. Since I have been training with him I have lost 49lbs and counting!! I owe all it all to Coach Marc for his words of encouragement and motivation for me to not give up and for me to be consistent and stick with my daily workouts with him. I have tried reaching out via email when it comes my contract and how to end the contract when the time approaches. It is always crickets when it comes to cancellation questions.

The moment I emailed about updating my payment method, they reach back out and even call you. So that tells you exactly what they care about. Money hungry. Even calling them is a hassle, no one picks up and their mailbox is full.

I shouldn’t have to follow up to get basic information, I shouldn’t have to call to get the most basic information. I can tell it’s going to be a pain to cancel when the time comes. I’m not going to play these games with this company and the owner.

Ernesto (the owner) very rude, when I was unhappy with his customer service he advised me to leave his gym. he was always double charging, adding extra fees and mentioned to me he had his own bills to pay when I wanted to end my membership. Since the recent manager left, the quality of this place has went downhill. Its cleanliness has went from a 10 to a 2. Been working with a personal trainer (Coach E) who made working out very rewarding for me. I’ve surely noticed a change in my strengthen & endurance level. I can certainly say that the time and patience he displays is everything. Along with his effort to make minimum no pain a goal really helped pushed me. Joined through direct fit online. Showed up at 9 am to get paperwork started and to work out. It's now past noon and the door is still locked for guests to come in. No one is available to answer my calls. The sign on the front door says it's unlocked for guests at 9 am. Called the corporate office and all they could tell me was they'd contact the owner and manager. Since each is independently owned I'm stuck waiting for a phone call. Wasted my morning. This is a small gym, but the atmosphere is a very homey one. Everyone seems to have very good gym etiquette. I never have trouble finding weights or out of place, like other gyms. The staff is wonderful, and they make sure the gym is being disinfected and stays clean. Eric is such a genuine person that truly cares for not only personal training clients, but all members. I've seen him go out of his way to make sure all of us members are getting the help we need based on our goals. It is a passion for him, not just a job. Anytime has become home for me and I always reject friends that try to get me to be their workout buddy at their gym. I highly recommend this gym and location!

Eric and his teammates have exceptional customer service. Although This is a small gym, it does not make it any less better than your usual big corporate gym. This gym is extremely clean, covid regulations are followed and you will never feel like it is overcrowded. The fact that it is “anytime” literally you can go at anytime you want so it is hardly ever crowded. Eric also offers personal training individually or by group so if you’re looking to gain muscle mass he is the one to reach out to! I drive from Cypress to Spring to frequent this gym. I love how clean it always is, there is always equipment available, and the other guests don't make me feel weird. (I'm not super confident in the gym as it is, so I hate going to gyms where I feel people are looking at me.) I love the evening small group training classes. Eric, the trainer, has completely changed my life!!! And you really can't beat the price for the classes compared to working with a trainer elsewhere.

The gym here is clean, positive atmosphere, machines working properly, and just an all around gym to come too. Definitely would recommend getting a membership here. 100% worth it!!!!

Without question the best AF in the Houston area. Clean and well maintained- Eric is a great manger making sure we are in a safe and clean environment to the point he is always re-racking weights, vacuuming and wiping down machines.
Having utilized most of the AF in the area, this is the one to use. You would think Kingwood area AF would be great, but I found them filthy and unkept with broken machines on the floor. This specific AF is worth the extra miles.

I’ve been going to this facility for about a year now and it is by far one of the best gyms I have ever been to. Eric, the manager there, is super friendly and helps you with any questions or concerns you might have. He always makes sure the facility is clean and welcoming. I have visited other locations and nothing compares to this one. Yoga and tanning are offered, along with individual and group training. If you’re looking for a new gym, this is definitely the location to be at.

Manager lied about yoga classes. Told me he was in the process of hiring an instructor. I only signed up for those classes due to injuries I have. He never in the whole year hired anyone but wouldnt let me out of my contract. I paid a year for nothing. RIP off

I've seen ALOT of gyms over the years and this is One of the Best! Very nice and well kept equipment. Every time I've been, there has been someone working....vacuuming the nooks and crannies, Painting the scuff marks on the walls, etc.
Bathrooms a Very clean and I REALLY appreciate the disinfectant wet wipes provided in several locations around the gym to wipe down the machines when finished.

So I’ve been a member here for a while now. I absolutely LOVE this gym. It’s never crowded and the equipment is always clean. The classes are great. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I met Eric the first day I stepped inside the gym. I began training with him and have seen great results. He believes in me when I don’t believe in myself and helps to motivate me and push me further than I thought I could go. I would definitely recommend coming out to try Anytime Fitness. If you want a personable experience then this is the place for you. Especially if your like me and hate being in a crowded gym where your just a number.

I used to belong to Anytime Fitness in California, years ago, so when I was shopping for a gym recently, I checked out AF out here. When I joined, I was given two free sessions with a personal trainer. I met Eric and I haven’t looked back since! He is AMAZING! He keeps me dedicated, focused and on point in the gym. He has a way of reminding you of your goals, without making you feel super guilty if you slip up every now and again. There have been numerous times where I try and talk myself out of working out, and then I think of Eric on the other side. So I go. Also, when training with him, it is very comfortable, as I have worked with creepy/touchy trainers before. Not the case here. He keeps the gym SUPER clean and all the weights nice and tidy. I never have to wait for equipment and the other clients are nice. I would HIGHLY recommend going in and seeing Eric if you’re looking to reach your short and long term goals!

The gym manager, Eric, is amazing. Not only does he do a great job at the personal training and classes he offers. But he keeps the gym clean and offers the newest technology to keep you on your goals.

The gym is never too crowded and always stays clean. Random new equipment shows up all the time so that's always nice. I never have to wait for equipment which happens a lot at bigger gyms. The only thing this gym is missing is a sauna room :)

Eric the manager is super personable and very helpful in case you need something. I recommend people joining Anytime before joining a mega gym.

Not a local to this area, but have visited many Anytime Fitness' as I travel often. Eric, the GM, was more than willing to talk to me and get a few things taken care of while I was in town.
Extremely helpful guy, and actually put my mind to ease on a few issues I felt I was having with my health.
Bottom line is, Eric did not have to help me with anything today, yet he went out of his way to make sure I was good.
The place was clean with plenty of equipment (including multiple squat racks), the people working out were nice, and you can tell they take pride in their location.
Keep it up, Eric and the team at Anytime Fitness off Treaschwig Rd!
I will be back whenever I'm in town!

I've been a member of this gym for little over a year now. I've seen many iterations of the management and right now, it's the best the gym can be. The gym is small but it is the way I like it. I don't have to wait for weights which is great.

Been a member of the franchise since 2014 but this gym is relatively new. They lore you in with their nice equipment but if you ever decide you want to leave the gym get ready for a hassle and the run around since they have gym contracts still for some reason. As for the gym itself its nice and usually kept clean but ultimately its easier to go to a big gym, pay month to month without the contract and for less.

Owner deactivated my account over the price that I pay at another location. Although he was respectful about it, it was a very poor business decision. The manager there is awesome, real friendly guy. The owner is extremely money hungry, and cares only about the dollar and not the customer. Unfortunately I am forced to workout at LA fitness now down the street.

It's a small, neighborhood gym, but has all the essentials you need to work out: cardio equipment, machine and free weights. Most of the treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes have small TVs attached with a few cable channels available.

They also have a small room that can be used for stretching or other exercises. Currently, I've seen Yoga and Zumba classes offered in there as well. Additionally, a single tanning room is available. If you need to change, there are three unisex bathroom/changing rooms, but only one has a shower.

For being a small gym, it is on the pricier side, BUT the convenience of location and 24/7 access justify the cost. Also, I never have to compete for any equipment. Most of all, the members, along with staff, have always been friendly and inviting.
