Anytime Fitness is hands down one of the best gyms I’ve been to! The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need—whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned lifter. What really sets this place apart, though, are the owners. They genuinely care about their members and go above and beyond to create a welcoming, supportive environment. You can tell they take pride in the gym and the community they’ve built. Highly recommend!

The equipment is super clean and new. The staff is like the police on top of you though- like they have nothing better to do than to keep track if you clean after your machine, when they should be doing the job for us , too over the top . Let people work out no one will get sick with some germs on them. Another point it is that They are not warm or friendly , very ackard Gym and people that manage it or attend. I have been trying to go to others around the area that are from their franchise so I could switch gym locations eventhough this one is 3 miles away from me. I just can’t stand going there Sadly :(

Not long ago I was choosing between two area gyms. One offered classes in addition to the weight equipment (which appealed to me) and then there was Anytime Fitness, more of a traditional gym. I had been receiving email from both gyms and decided to check them out with a personal visit. I visited both places and the experience could not have been more different.
At Anytime Fitness, the communication was straight forward -- the fees they quoted me in the email and on the phone were exactly the same fees we discussed during my visit. At the second gym, the fees they proposed during my visit were completely different from what I was quoted in the email -- their "best offer" was more than twice what was stated in the email I received (I thought that legally you had to honor the quoted price). Every rep I talked to gave me a different "best offer"-- complete bait and switch. I walked out and never returned.

Anytime Fitness has been amazing. The facility is clean and secure, with an excellent variety of equipment. I see customers of all ages and fitness levels. The staff is always helpful, whether I make a phone or email inquiry or an in-person visit.
They are not just looking to "make a sale" -- they really care about their customers' health and fitness. I have referred several people to Anytime Fitness and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a great gym experience in the area, look no further!

I joined Anytime Fitness because it is so convenient to my residence. I have been extremely pleased with my membership.
There is an emphasis on cleanliness that is
above & beyond any gym that I ever been associated with. The personnel are all very friendly & helpful. It’s not a large gym but the equipment is new & well maintained.
If you’re in the market, I definitely recommend taking a look at this facility.

Anytime Fitness Woodforest is a fantastic gym. The equipment is in top shape, the gym is neat and clean, and the bathroom/showers are great. Even when the gym is busy, I never feel crowded, and I can always get the equipment I want to use. I have tried several other gyms in the area and always come back to Anytime. I have been a member since 2018 and have signed up for two more years. Keep up the great work Woodforest Staff!

I am writing this review just to relay some information that I believe people should know. I was going to join this gym and everything seemed great from the conversation. Until they mention that it is bi-weekly payment that seemed strange to me. I have been going to gyms for 15+ years stretching from California to NYC and never encountered a bi-weekly payment, they have always been monthly. But I can understand why they would do a bi-weekly payments mainly due to the fact that they are charging their customers for 13 months a year instead of 12. Being that there are 52 weeks in a year and if every month had only 4 weeks it would be 48 weeks in a year but that is not the case. I just feel this is a shady business practice and they are not being upfront with their customers.

This was probably the nicest anytime fitness I have been to the equipment is state of art the staff was nice and it was just a great location I can't wait to return. Susannah was very nice. I was visiting my girlfriend and forgot my access fob. She looked me up and said come on down. Way to go I felt very welcome and the club is only 2 miles from my girlfriend house.Yepppppeee.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for a little over year now. I have been to many of gyms during my 41 years on this earth, and this is by far the cleanest and well kept gym I’ve ever been to. The owners of this gym are there everyday making sure it runs to their standards. If you are looking for a gym that has a family atmosphere, everything is cleaned multiple times a day and the weights are new and work the way they should then this is the gym for you. I promise this is the gym you have been looking for all your life.

From the time I met with Susannah to signing up with Brandon for personal training, it was and has been a terrific experience. My goal this year is to go a little more often than I have which this facility allows me to do since it is open 24/7-it is just working around our family schedule that is the challenging part.

I appreciate their genuine conversation, cleanliness of the facility (always) and the warm and welcoming environment.

This is an awesome gym to have a membership! The place is spotless and roomy with plenty of equipment. I have probably been to 50-60 Anytime Fitness clubs across the country since getting my membership in 2011 and Woodforest ranks number one on my list. A couple of things that stand out the most to me are; the management and the personal training. The owners are actively engaged in every aspect of the business and the customer service is second to none. I have observed the personal trainer (Brandon) and his interaction and training approach with his clients. Most trainers I have seen in the past put you through a 30 minute generic workout and send you off. This guy sits down with you and gets to know your and your needs and designs a program made just for you. I highly recommend the Woodforest Anytime Fitness.

When I moved to the Montgomery Texas area, I discovered I was over 30 minutes from my former gym. I then kept seeing price increases often with my former gym, this caused me to reconstruct my membership to the lowest one available (leaving me only access to a small group of the partnering gyms) at $48.00 a month.
When I met Susannah & Dave McNeece of Woodforest Anytime Fitness, I was extremely happier when I joined for the following reasons: my drive is now 4.5 minutes away from home, I have access to ALL the AF gyms, even the ones on the cruise ships, Susannah & Dave actually listens to the customers! She takes a pole on what equipment is needed/wanted and gets it! The gym is always clean and “she” completes the sanitation on a regular basis from what I’ve noticedt (which is better because being an owner, will clean it as one clean their home)! Susannah is motivating, friendly, honest, and accommodating to say the least! A lot of us members do not have to drive to store for our favorite drink/protein because is stocked in the refrigerator on-site! I was apprehensive at first because of the size of the gym but I never used all the equipment in my former gym! AF is a perfect fit and large enough!!!!! AF is much cheaper, no broken equipment, I have met several good people, the merchandise shelf is always in stock for what I need, they’re always free offers!
This gym has been the best gym I’ve attended since I have been active in a gym of 21yrs.

TERRIBLE!
I am a member of Anytime Fitness and was using this location on a temporary basis. I am supposed to be able to use any location in the US with my key fab.
I received a threatening text message from Susannah (one of the owners) that if I continued to use their location I would be charged an extra $16 per month on top of what I am already paying and would have to sign a new contract or I would not be able to have access to their location.
Susannah, why as a business owner would you drive business away? The price I am paying should be the price to transfer if I wanted to transfer.
Unfortunately, I don't like being bullied so you and your location are not worth it. I was grandfathered in 16 years ago when I joined Anytime
Fitness. What has happened to good customer service?
This location does not reflect the values of Anytime Fitness.

You get the pros and cons of a small business/gym. You get to be on first names with the staff, who are very friendly and service minded, you sometimes got the whole gym to yourself, you get a sparkling clean gym too. On the negative side you sometimes have to wait to get the equipment you need, but there are plenty of various equipment here already, so hardly any issues or any different than any other gym.
