Our child has been coming to this location for about the last 6 months for weekly gymnastic group lessons and all of that has been fine. We saw significant increases in her flexibility and confidence with her body.

However, we enrolled her in a summer camp. On her last day, my child was purposefully kicked in the face by another child. The staff informed me that the child who kicked my child has done this before. I am unsure why they would continue to allow children that are a danger to other kids to continue to participate. I do not trust this location any longer with the safety of my child.

UPDATE: I edited my post to increase from 1 to 3 stars. While I believe the incident was not handled very well, ASI did reach out and seemed concerned about my child. We also had a party already booked here and, because we were able to control who was in attendance, decided to proceed with the event. They made sure that my child had a great birthday and I did not feel that any of the children were at risk.

My daughters have been at asi for one full year. We absolutely love coming here! Smaller facility compared to other gymnastics places so you can have a better view of your kids on the floor. The coaches are all excellent and caring. Everything was going well until the end….

On the last Saturday of June, they sent out an email saying they would close permanently in mid august. Since we’ll be out of town for July and august, I decided to drop them. However they still have makeup classes so I signed them up for makeup classes after I have dropped them from enrollment. All the makeup classes were approved. When we got there for our makeup class on Tuesday, I was told that they couldn’t do the makeups unless they are enrolled. Well there’s no point of enrolling them since we won’t be back in town until after they have permanently closed! And they won’t give me a refund for my 4 classes! This is ridiculous!

This will make no difference since they’re closing anyways and doesn’t care about their customers anymore. This is so sad.

My daughter has been going to ASI for 5 years. She absolutely loves it! The coaches she's had have been great. She wants to be there any chance she gets, whether it be for class, a Parents Night Out themed event, or Summer camp. My 2 sons also enjoyed ASI before they got heavily involved in other sports. One of my sons was in Power Tumbling, and both of my sons were in the Ninja class. We even had one of my son's birthday parties there. It was well structured and the coaches took care of everything. He wanted a Nerf party. We were able to bring in Nerf guns and have a great time.

Your kid probably wont become an Olympian here but it’s a great introduction to gymnastics, a good environment and it helps socialize them. If you’re looking for more intense and serious I’d recommend cypress academy, but this is perfect for what we want.

Coach Andrew and coach Bryland and coach CeCe are very observant and teach the boys tips to better what they are doing wrong.

Very disappointed with ASI’s lack of flexibility in the schedule and policies. It makes ZERO sense to be unable to re-schedule a class ahead of time, make parents wait until the kid misses the class to then call ask for a re-schedule only to be told that I have 2 options.. Mondays, that won’t work because my kid got another activity and Thursday at 10 AM… yeap.. 10 AM.. so what? I need to take my kid out of school so she can make up her class? Laughable. And this is not the first time dealing with similar scenarios with re-schedules, the 3 strikes a year and you are out is also pretty dumb as well. Very disappointed, my daughter loved going there, she advanced a lot and always had good coaches, unfortunately your management ruined it all.

Worst Staff and Management ever. was told my daughter stole, when trying to understand the situation and get an answer on the situation took someone 4 days to get back to me. look at the footage and got my kids mixed up when they don't look alike. we're not watching my kids and had to look at footage to get the whole story. the manager was not helpful and gave me nothing but excuses and sorry. i will never go back. total waste of money. don't take your kids to camp here they don't keep good care of kids and when asked questions they have no real answers just excuses.

Coach Rakayla and Coach Makenzy were very attentive and helpful to my super shy 4 year old. My grandson is going to this gym, and it is chaotic. He is little and the coaches are young and give no instructions. He sits down or runs around and no effort is made to focus his attention. He is is not learning anything. From what I see all the classes are the same. They have canceled or moved him 3 times in 2 months due to an inability to keep coaches. I am very disappointed. I don't see how paying customers tolerate the chaos.

My son started today in a trial class. I was very impressed by the sanitation after each group activity. Mask for all parents in the stands and social distance marked and followed. I felt very safe for my son to continue his classes here. I definitely recommend. Coach Issac did an awesome job paying close attention to details with my son. Classes were small which is really great. The lady at the front that helped with enrollment was extremely polite and helpful. Thank you guys for putting this mom at ease during this time!

I have an update to this post. My daughter has been at another gym for over a year now and I've noticed that she has come farther in that one year then she did in the almost 4 years she was at ASI Cypress. If you are looking for competitive gymnastics, DO NOT take your children here. My daughter had to re-learn skills because they were taught incorrectly. I'm absolutely AMAZED at her progress now. I feel horrible for ever exposing her to ASI. I only wish I had known better. Thankful to be with PROS now.
This is a horrible gym! I removed my daughter last year after several incidents that I just could no longer look past. It started out great, but due to high turnover and numerous management changes, it steadily went downhill. Team promotions are handled VERY poorly. They promote an atmosphere of pitting the team girls against one another instead of promoting an atmosphere of sportsmanship and support. The management staff is horrible. The corporate office is not supportive or helpful when you call with complaints. The on sight management seems to rule even if they are wrong. I would not recommend placing your children here. It could be detrimental to their well being.

The facility is smaller but newer than cypress academy of gymastics on Huffmeister road. The coaches are young but very nice and friendly. My only concern is that the coaches either leave after 6 months or 1 year or they don't show up and they have to find a substitute coach quite frequently so that is the reason I did not give this place 5 stars.

I would not recommend ASI Cypress location. We started at this location summer of 2014 when they opened. We have watched customer service decline and recent management fail to answer questions and solve problems. Our daughter has been on Team since 2016. She has loved being on Team even though she experienced 5 different coach changes over 3 years. Just over two weeks ago we received a phone call from a person that works at the ASI Woodlands location (not someone from ASI Cypress) to tell us they let our coach go and that they had no back up coach or plan to find anyone for our Team girls, so their season was over!!!! They had 3 more meets to compete in to finish season including State meet that they qualified for. It is mind boggling to me that the ASI Cypress manager wasn't the person to call us to let us know she had let our coach go and ended our girls season. This is so unprofessional and heartless the way ASI Cypress handled the Team girl's season. This gym over the years has shown over and over that they don't care about the people or kids at this gym, it is about the numbers and money. I personally will not spend anymore of our hard earned dollars at ASI Gymnastics.

Our coach this season was great with the girls, he really pushed them and helped them grow in their skills!!! We are not sure why they let him go in middle of the season. Each of our girls on Team earned medals at every meet this past season. He was doing a good job!!!

Do not, I repeat do not take your children here. The following are my observations based on the time my daughter was at the gym Management is completely clueless (especially Gabby). My daughter started here 3 years ago. Depending on coach (some are great) others not so much, they are slow to move girls along. Turnover is ridiculous. My daughter has had 9 different coaches since she's been there. Rec classes are fine, but when they get to team, it becomes very political. Gabby can't answer any questions. They hold the girls back. Management plays favorites. They recently fired our girls team coach, without investigating the false claims against him. Then told our girls, sorry we have no plans to replace your coach, you're season is over early. Our 5 amazing, talented girls are heartbroken, without their coach, and without a gym to practice at. They aren't just a team, they ARE family. the Manager is extremely passive aggressive, has no people skills, can't answer any questions you have for her, and is completely passionless. She has no business being a manager. She will lie straight to your face. And watch out for Sarah at the front desk too. She is the mole of the company. Anything you confide in her, she will immediately text, call management and inform them as soon as you turn your back. Management is all a bunch of cowards. Gabby is a coward and a liar. She has other people do her dirty work for her because she is intimidated by everyone. When she drops the ball, she passes the work on to someone else to do. I lost all respect for this gym and EVERYTHING they supposedly stand for. Our team has a member battling a very rare and aggressive cancer for the second time. Several of us reached out to the company to provide a scholarship or some financial assistance for the family, and our requests fell on deaf ears. They were not charitable or accommodating in any way. I could write a book on all my complaints and all the"dirt" I have on this company. But I won't. It will all come out in the end. The manager and the rest of management team will continue to run this location into the ground. Others will eventually see for themselves. You're child is just $ and a #at ASI Cypress. Would give them 0 🌟 if I could.

I gave a 1 star rating only because I couldn’t give a 0. Please stay far away from this gym. My daughter had been there since 2015. She was currently on team, with the most amazing coach and teammates, who became a family. She loved ASI. However, the management at this gym now is the absolute worst I have ever seen. The “manager”, Gabrielle, has no customer service skills. There is no taking responsibility for anything, complete lack of knowledge and inability to answer any questions and anything she doesn’t want to handle, she passes off to others. She lies to your face. There is no training or preparing coaches for higher team levels. Upper management is just as bad. They display favoritism towards gymnasts and coaches and let their animosity towards coaches keep gymnasts from advancing, instead of acting like professional adults and our girls were victims of this. To top it off, two days ago, our girls coach was fired unjustly, after what was supposed to be a simple meeting between team parents, the “manager” and coach. There was no investigation whatsoever into the situation, which involved 8 people. They took only the word of the incompetent, lying “manager” and we come to find out, she isn’t actually the manager, but manager in training. Where was the actual manager when it all took place? She was only there to call and simply tell us “Your coach is no longer with the gym and we have no other coach for your girls so their season is over.” They did nothing to try and keep our girls. The meeting occurred on Friday and by Saturday at noon, they had fired him and called us. They want us to believe that in less than 24 hours, they had tried everything they could for our girls. Lies and more lies. Our girls were in the middle of competition season and were just tossed away, leaving them completely devastated and heartbroken. This is not acceptable. This is not how you run a company. They do not care about the kids, only themselves and their money. They are selfish and heartless.

From the very top (owner of all ASI locations, David Holley) to every manager in between, and down to the manager in training (Gabby) at the Cypress location where my daughter has been going since this location opened have absolutely NO respect for their customers. My daughter was on the team with 4 other amazing girls who became best friends and family to her. She had the BEST coach. The team moms wanted to have a meeting with Gabby on Friday 3-15-19 to discuss a confusing email we all received about the level our girls would be working towards for the next season. The girls’ coach was in the meeting as well. We expressed all of our concerns and told her how much the coach for our girls meant to them. She couldn’t answer any of our questions herself because she didn’t know the answers, but told us she would talk to the higher ups about everything. We left somewhat feeling better about next season for our girls. But the very next day we got a phone call from a different manager at another location who wasn’t even at our meeting to let us know that they decided to fire our girls’ coach and that our girls’ season was over and not to come back. Everything that they have worked for was taken away from them. We have 5 heartbroken girls that ASI could care less about! My husband and I reached out to David Holley via email and his own personal Facebook page. He has yet to even open the message. They do not care for any of these children!! They care for the money we are giving them for our children to be there! This corporation is a joke!

We've been going to ASI for 2 years now and have LOVED it. My daughter started in kids gym and is now in girls bronze. My son saw how much fun his sister was having and decided to join too. We like the more casual atmosphere and the coaches are engaged with their students and they're safe. Due to our own scheduling preferences we have moved coaches several times and we have been pleased with all of them. Coach Serena, Candice, Kristin, David, and the list goes on. We're in this once a week for something to do and it's a great fit for our family.

We have been attending ASI for 18 months, and we LOVE it. My daughter has learned so much and has a great time. Her coach, Ms. Chelsea, works hard with the kids and teaches them more than gymnastics. They learn listening skills and how to follow instructions. All of the staff is caring, friendly, and helpful. They go above and beyond for all of their students and families. Great place for a birthday party too!

If your thinking of joining a day care this the place for you. FYI open a saving account for your child's college fund instead. The most unprofessional and arrogant people you will ever be involved with. Total joke and too bad you can rate it a half star.

Both of my kids go to ASI Gymnastics - Cypress and they both love being there! So much so that we take them five days a week. They both love the staff! Coach Gerrad and Coach David are favorites of theirs. As parents, the facilities and the coaches there are great!

This place sucks from a administrative stance. There is no organization and if you have a question or a issue your sol! The trainers are good I guess the kids like them. I think it's more of a scam then a benefit. Poor poor customer service!

How can you run a business without a manager??? Thats is their excuse for EVREYTHING, I just find it hard to believe, that anyone can be on a waiting list for 2 months for a Saturday class and never recieve a phone call when a spot is available. I really wanted my son to join because it seemed like a nice place, but its ran poorly.... and bad customer service.

Great place if you want someone to take your money every month with absolutely no feedback or discussions. We went twice a week for almost 6 month's and getting anyone to talk to you is like pulling teeth. If you do have an issue there is never anyone in charge on duty all they will do is give you a generic email. 10 people working and no one is charge or an resolve issues
