A good place for the kids to start their Gymnastics routine. Spacious enough to accommodate large groups of kids and parents with dedicated seating area.

The coaches keep changing due to attrition and that affects the progress of the kids to the next level.

Absolutely killer place. All staff has exceeded all kinds of expectations. Specifically mentioning coach Sarah- who knows toddlers like the back of her hand while giving safe and well considered advice personalized to the child- and coach Mia who has my 3/4 year old listening and improving every time and has an ability to come in and improvise with grace, poise and fun!
Stellar place 10/10 recommend for beginning kids who want to improve mobility and social skills.

Coach Kai is also absolutely amazing!!! We love her and she works so well with that hard 4-5 age group. Very talented coaches all around!!

My son takes Ninja with Coach Khari and absolutely loves him and the class.
Coach Khari seems to love his job, and the kids love to get his attention. He is fun and inclusive. He challenges his students while encouraging them.
Coach Khari really makes his students feel seen and accepted.

My daughters take Gymnastics with Coach Mia. Since they've moved up to her class, I've seen their skills improve. Coach Mia seems to have a calming and encouraging presence with her students, all while helping them better their technique.
Both of my daughters are a bit shy, and Coach Mia makes them feel welcomed and comfortable.

I would never support this company or brand ever. They take advantage from open to close, start to finish. The owner is not fluent in customer service, rude and uncooperative.

When I see something concerning I do my best to inform the people in charge. I have seen uncountable scary and dangerous scenes in my life in different parts of this planet, in countries from the First and the Thirld World in three different continents. It is very rare to feel uncomfortable or afraid unless it involves my child or my wife.
Thts why, if I see a guy drinking a beer in the restroom of a public library I will report it (like I did) to the front desk and the police because that is not a bar.
That's how I felt last Friday (01/24). I brought my daughter for a make up class, and there were parents sitting on the regular tribunes. One of then decided it was the perfect time to take a nap, so he laid down and covered his face. It was a very disgusting and ghetto-like spectacle. He looked like a tramp or a homeless person sleeping the hangover. I tried to wait patiently for him to correct that, but it did not happen. I saw the faces of other parents, and they did not look pleased either. I kept thinking if I should get up to say something, so I finally did.
I went to the front to report this and to explain why I did not want my daughter seeing adults sleeping in a place that is not to sleep. They said they will tell the manager, Ms. Ashley. I shared how the Mesquite location was super ghetto and there were people eating, yelling profanities, and doing other things that should not be allowed on a family place. That's why we left and came to Plano. So far, people had been respectful and the facilities clean.
After several minutes, Ms. Ashley came to talk.. to me!! It was very awkward. She said that the individual had been there for hours (I don't think it was true) and probably "he was very tired, but you shouldn't worry because this is not something that it is always happening, and this is a safe place for your child".
I think I literally dropped my jaw. I was in total disbelief and I just said "ok". I knew it was pointless to argue. I had gone to the people in charge to do something about a situation that should not had happened in the first place. My daughter comes to class at 7pm and I am also very tired after a long day of work. I'm sure other parents are also really tired, but we know how to have behavior standards, and if I ever was super sleepy I would go to my car. The website says this is a family place. Why should I have to expose my family to people who want to just do whatever they want without caring for the surroundings?
He finally woke up, and guess what. He started vaping. It was just a couple of touches, but he kept his vape in his hand until everyone went home. Of course, I thought, these are the people that are protected and not told anything about their actions. He goes to sleep, he vapes. Bravo, ASI!!
That was honestly strike 1. Today I am watching my girl's regular class and there is another parent having dinner and dropping food in the same public family place. Strike 2 in less than a week.
Of course, I only waste my time once. I have no doubts Ms. Ashley reply is going to be something like "Probably she is very hungry" (poor little thing) if I went to talk to her.
I requested a solution and the manager decided to come and talk to me like I was the problem. I respected and followed the appropriate channels to do this. I disagree with what happened after that, and that's why I am super thankful for social media and avenues like Yelp, Google, and TripAdvisor to share this. My hope is that leadership above Ms. Ashley reads this and emphasize family standards and behaviors. It is not enough to say that this is a family place. Show me, don't tell me.

Our family loves ASI Plano. We have been taking classes for about 1.5 years now. All the coaches are fantastic! That being said, Coach Spidey/Jaimein is our favorite! His energy is unmatched. Our three kids come here for gymnastics every Saturday. This facility is always organized, well prepared, and very clean. The coaches are each great and our kids are all clearly progressing in their skills! Other gymnastics places nearby can be very chaotic and disorganized — not to mention trying to schedule classes for three kids can result in three different timeslots per week. We switched to ASI so we could get good experiences for all three kids all at the same Saturday timeslot!

Not only that, but we had our 6 year old’s birthday party here and it exceeded our expectations! The hosts were absolutely phenomenal with the kids. Great energy, everybody had a blast, and they take care of everything so you as the parent can just relax and take pictures. Our son was very clearly loving his birthday party, and I am so so grateful that we chose to have it at ASI! This will be our go-to birthday party venue going forward!

We have been going to ASI Plano for a few years now and can’t say enough wonderful things about it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and it is always the highlight of our week. Both of my girls started in tiny tots with coach Sarah and have worked their way up in levels. Coach Sarah provides a perfect balance of discipline and fun and has taught my girls a great foundation. My eldest still works with coach Sarah (per my daughters request) and my youngest just started working with Brylea, who has also been wonderful! Definitely recommend ASI! My girls have gotten so much confidence and body awareness from gymnastics and it’s a bonus that they love their coaches too!

The staff members are very helpful and I’m always happy with the cleanliness of this location. Coach Brylea is a dream come true! She is so patient and kind with the kids! We came to a free trial session and my girl was hooked. I have already convinced a friend to enroll her daughter as well.

My daughter loves her class and excitedly waits for gymnastics days. The younger classes do cover colors, shapes, and numbers, but the most valuable lessons have been about sharing and turn taking. Highly recommend for a birthday party! We haven’t the classes there yet but had my daughter’s 5th birthday party there today and it was completely seamless. Kinda bummed. My kiddos went there for 5 years of after school, classes, Teams, and we were not given a part time price for after school care even though we had it for years. Even on the day we left, no one said goodbye or even looked up from the front desk. It's kind of a safety hazard if you ask me. Horrible and worst customer service I have ever dealt with . Sure they’ll take your money. I had stepped outside then came in to my daughter standing next to this woman. She asked “where are your parents?” She didn’t acknowledge me when I said “I am”, so I spoke up. She said that we didn’t pay tuition. (Her dad was supposed to pay this month) . So she fumbled through the computer then all of a sudden clicked on the card on file (which was mine), without telling me she was doing so. I told her her dad was supposed to pay it, and she started arguing with me about it. It was an African American woman with straight long hair who was extremely rude and threatening with her body language. Girl we are not on the streets!!!She was pumping her fist in her hand like she was going to hit me because she could not control herself! I asked for her supervisor and she told me there was no supervisor on duty! This is beyond infuriating. Plano west. I will report y’all to the Better business bureau . And to whoever else I need to report to!! I will never return to ANY of y’all’s establishments. You couldn’t pay me to!!!

We really liked the coach we met, he was amazing and very welcoming. My thing is, it felt like a total money grab. We did the trial to see if we liked the gym, which we did. Exchanged just a few words with the coach before leaving.

Then it felt like a money grab. My son was 1 of 2 kids in the class. The next morning I get a voicemail saying they can only hold his spot for 12 hours from the time of the trial. You filled 6 spots in under 24 hours? Doubtful. I was going to sign him up before class the following week, but we’ll probably just not return/look for a different gym. I understand it’s a place of business, but it’s a learning environment and it felt unwelcoming in that matter, like pay us, then we’ll be nice to you. All staff we met also referred to my son as a girl, and couldn’t figure out how to say his name.

The instructors are great but the service desk is awful.

I have had at least a half dozen interactions with them now.

Every time I call its a different answer about policy and makeup. When she first started we had different instructors and make ups, i was told we can make arangement by instructors for makeups in advance but then told when I called they have to be marked absent. Which is it? Communicate your policy to the instructors. Then she couldn't hold the spot. I told the lady, its Halloween she wont be there, can you mark her absent now. Still no. Zero willingness to help or service in any way. Poor attitude.

Also, the parking lot is a night mare.

EDIT: Emailed manager per request and still no response after 2 weeks. Just go to Dynamix and save yourself the headache.

Very frustrating. When you get there, you can never figure out where your child should go. If you miss, they say you can make up but they never have space in classes to make up. My 7 year old has been in the class for months and is still just jumping on a trampoline in the class, not learning any real skills. And then when we let them know that we'd be done for a month for the summer, they billed us anyway. Unbelievable.

I signed my daughter up for a trial class. My first impression of the facility- awful customer service. The front desk lady was super rude and brief. The instructor was not friendly. She did not introduce herself to me nor did she introduce herself to my daughter who was taking the class for the first time. After the class was finised, there was no one I could speak to. The instructor ran off out the door and did not bother even speaking to me regarding the class. I much rather go to a place where my child and I feel welcomed. I will not be returning and going with another facility.

From Day 1 (a long time ago) we’ve had nothing but good things to say about ASI Plano West! Seriously! We started using them as just an after school hangout, but then we learned about PNO (Parents Night Out) that they offer once a month, sort of a built in date night for moms and dads. Pretty soon, the kids started taking gymnastics and have each advanced several levels!
Brittany and the staff have been so good to us. Always accommodating our many last minute schedule changes, and later than normal pickups. They’ve always been so cool to us and our kids love them! We really don’t know what we’d do without them.

Cons: The coach my daughter had seemed like a teenager that came off as a baby sitter rather than a coach. My kid is really tall for her age group and the coach didn’t seem to recognize that she was not being challenged enough but rather going through the motions. The class is only 50 minutes once a week and the coach always seemed to disappear as soon as class was over so there was never much time to address my concerns of moving my daughter to the next level. I never got any feedback besides when it was time to make a payment. All in all, they’ve got a good thing going and it could be a great program but we didn’t feel welcomed or challenged. This just seemed like a job for the people that work here.

My daughter has been going to the Plano West location for a little over a year now and we (my wife and I) have nothing but the highest praise for ASI Gymnastics and the coaches that have worked with our daughter - Coach Meredith, Coach Lee (no longer there), Coach Sarah and currently Coach Jo Poole. Coach Jo has to be one of the most patient and understandable coach's at ASI Plano West. She is coaching mostly 3 and 4 year old girls and boys. She does a wonderful job, I would highly recommend her.

This isn't the worst place but this isn't a great place either. Not all coaches are made the same and that is definitely made clear here. The manager of the gym is pretty lazy and not interested in really hearing your concerns. They have brought in a guy from another location to retrain the current coaches and restructure the programs because the current coached are not teaching form and technique the way they should. My daughter started in their kids 1 class and was not advanced to kids 2 because the coach did not know how to recognize when a child has mastered the level of skill and when they are no longer being challenged. When I spoke with one of the head coaches, they assessed my kid and said she should have been advanced a long time ago....That same coach assessed my kid again after being in kids 2 for a few weeks and put her in Girls bronze. She was the smallest one in the class but she learns quickly and needed a coach that would move her with her skill. The original coach tried to say she didn't advance my lid because she was a kid that didn't listen....after I had already had issues with that coach about singling out my kid for little crap and clearly showing favor to other kids. She was not about to hold my kid back in her skill just because she didn't like my kid for whatever reason....she wasn't one of the kids not paying attention clearly since she grasped the skill set and could name all positions. That specific coach is no longer at this gym.
If you just want your kid to be active then put them here. If your kid is trying to be an advanced gymnast and compete, I'd place them somewhere else. Again, not the worst, but not great either. They aren't even teaching the correct form and programs are having to be re-written......Don't wast your time.

We had a great experience this last weekend at this location. Our daughter celebrated her 6th birthday there, and she and her guests had a blast. The Host, Rosy, Lead, Anthony and the Coordinator, Devin, did a great job of making the kids laugh and entertaining them with games. What a fantastic Home School program! My kids learn so much from the coaches and have a blast in the foam pits, balance beams, swinging roaps and multiple tramplolines!

This place does a fine job with the camps and birthday parties, but heaven help you with their online system. It's frustrating to spend time on a cumbersome website, signing your child up only to find that ASI has no record of said registration. This is not the first time I've had trouble with them this way. Strong work, ASI.
