I really wanted to like this gym, but after experiencing racial comments about my appearance and subtle microaggressions, it left a bad impression. Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in their gym environment.

Asteria really is an incredible community and holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve been a member for 3+ years now, prior to that I jumped gym every few months because I never felt like I belonged in those other places.

Asteria is home, it’s incredibly welcoming and inviting.

It’s that safe place to go and let it all out without judgement.

It’s a comforting and supportive community to turn to when you are grieving the loss a child.

It’s where you go to celebrate your little wins in life, like actually finding the strength to get out of bed.

Asteria has had my back in the darkest time of my life and walked along side me the whole way, bringing a much needed light to my path.

I am forever grateful for Asteria, Thea, Stacee, Crystal, my fellow Strength athletes and all those that push me to be a better person each time I come in.

Asteria has been my grief therapy and is absolutely crucial for me in my healing journey.

Asteria has literally saved my life.

BEST GYM EVER!!!
Coming from an anti-social person, I was nervous about being involved in a community gym. It is the only thing that has kept me accountable to workouts. The trainers Stacey and Thea are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Wide age range and mix of all sorts of people. Everyone has been friendly and kind and it really feels like family. Building muscle has improved my quality of life as well!! Definitely give it a try, I believe they do a free class.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I love that there is a strong sense of community. Everyone encourages and cheers for each other. Thea and Stacee are great! And Coach Brady is invaluable with his programming and knowledge. Seriously the best box around.

Started about 6 weeks ago doing the HIIT class 3x a week. As someone who is a beginner at fitness, I already feel stronger, healthier, and overall better. Everyone there is so nice and supportive. Couldn’t ask for a better environment and trainers. They work with your level of fitness so you can be in a class with all ability levels and they push you to do better for yourself without breaking you down. 1000000/10 recommend!

The gym itself is pretty clean, definitely kept up with. The trainers are amazing, all very helpful and attentive. You won’t have to worry about whether you’re moving right or lifting too little or too much. The community is phenomenal. I’ve been to a couple of gyms in the area and this is by far my favorite.

I've struggled in the past with consistency, until I found this gym. The coaches, the atmosphere, and the community are awesome! I started a couple years ago. I had been out of the gym for a while and it was the first time I'd ever tried CrossFit. Crystal was great! Welcoming from day one, and encouraging me to scale to my own pace and ability, and then the community took over. Such a great group of people at this gym. Everyone going out of their way to encourage and help each other get better. Even when I took some time off because I let work get in the way, Crystal would check on me from time to time, encouraging me to come back or inviting me to the gym's social events. At the beginning of this year, they started a Strength HAB class. Enter Thea, the mad scientist of workouts, and a great coach. Don't let the gym name fool you, this is not just a CrossFit gym. The Strength class is a community within the community. Our motto is, "It's Working", because no matter where we started, we've all improved, and we're all seeing results. We hold each other accountable, encourage each to improve each day, and help each other push through those days where the achievement was just showing up.
Whether you're looking for a CrossFit class, or you prefer a Strength class to get stronger and injury-proof yourself, do yourself a favor and check out the CrossFit Asteria community.

Close-knit group

I spent about three months here working out and getting to know the community before another job transitioned me out of the local area. This being the third Cross fit gym I've been to. The owners, Jason and Crystal, are excellent at what they do and always strive to maintain an atmosphere in the gym that is direct yet friendly, hard working but approachable. The community will actively encourage your effort as you get closer to your goals and there's a high chance you will make some friends along the way.

I recommend Cross fit Asteria and I would come back.

I was lucky enough to drop in at this gym over the holidays and it was great! The gym is run by a fun and incredibly nice couple. I messed up on when I thought their class hours were and they allowed me to have open gym during their office hours, being super accommodating. The gym itself is very clean and filled with new and organized equipment. Also, finally, the atmosphere in the gym very fun, energetic, and supportive! Thank you again Crossfit Asteria!

My husband has been doing CrossFit for two years now. He started at another box in the area but moved to CrossFit Asteria because the gym was much bigger and really really clean. He had been trying to get me to try CrossFit since he started 2 years ago, but I refused to be a part of it. My view of CrossFit was that it was a reckless sport full of meatheads slinging weights all day. Well, this August my husband got a new job that required him to travel A LOT. He was not able to attend CrossFit anymore and had one more month remaining on his membership that he had already paid for. I couldn’t let this money go to waste, so I reluctantly showed up to CrossFit Asteria to finish out his membership. One class and I was hooked! I have been a member of this gym for 3 months now and I attend nearly everyday! It is nothing like I thought it was. Everyday the classes are so different from the day before, I can’t ever see getting bored of this. In my opinion, it is more like a boot camp class with a weightlifting move here and there. My misconception was that it was all weights all the time (I think this probably differs from gym to gym).

The gym is owned by a mother-daughter team that are really passionate about their gym and CrossFit. They have a staff of very attentive coaches that explain every movement everyday no matter your experience level. You are getting a personal trainer with every CrossFit session. When I first came to the gym it was only a few months after having a surgery for a herniated disk caused several years back and a mobility issue with my wrist. They provided me with modified movements to accommodate my conditions that allowed me to safely participate in the workouts. They have helped me gradually scale up as my condition improved and as I got stronger. I felt that the trainers genuinely cared about my situation too.

Another neat thing about this gym, is that they are really involved in the community. They are collecting toys for Toys for Tots, they are holding a food drive for the Seabrook food pantry, they will be participating in the Trash Bash this year, and they have a team of members participating in the Lucky Trails Marathon relay.

I look forward to many many more workouts at this awesome gym with these amazing people! If like me, you have any apprehensions about giving CrossFit a try, I encourage you to take advantage of one of their free classes. Every Saturday the gym hosts a free one-hour workout at 9:00 am. It is open to anyone and everyone (just show up a little early to fill out a waiver). They also offer a free trial that you can sign up for on their website. If you are new to CrossFit or just don’t feel like you were ever properly trained, they have a one-on-one CrossFit for Beginners course as well.
