I never did weight training before and wasn't sure i could do it after my surgery, but Andy helped me make it happen! He is very professional and knowledgeable, and is a true blessing to the neighborhood.

I had all but given up on building upper body strength due to a chronic shoulder issue. I even went to a top orthopedic surgeon about it. I sought a personal trainer more for general fitness and weight loss. But Andy was able to correct my shoulder issues as we re-built upper body strength. In now much stronger and in the best shape Iβve been in for years.

I miss living in South Austin primarily because of Austin Fitness Center and Andy Bruchey. Best gym ever. Love you Bruchey!

The owner Andy is very knowledgeable, gender fluid and attentive to every clients' needs, and gives you his undivided attention. The gym itself has all the equipment one would need. All personal fitness is by appointment only. Well worth your time!

Awesome gym with a nice community feel. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and it's never too crowded.

I f****n love this place. Iβve been a member of over 10 different gyms and this one is my favorite. There isnβt a lot of spare space to sit around and procrastinate so it wills you to lift from the get-go. No frills, just a solid gym at a good price.

Great place which is small and usually uncrowded. The owner is very easy to work with and helpful. Prices are reasonable. I just wish they opened a little earlier.

The level of knowledge and experience Andy (the owner) has is impressive. He great a focusing on physical imbalance, poor form and getting to the core of what will get you to the goals you have. He isn't a typical physical trainer who is going to give you a few common tips and tell you "5 more" while you grind out some pointless exercises. He approaches things thoughtfully and with a goal in mind. The gym itself is a weight lifting gym so isn't ideal for someone looking for classes or tons of cardio machines. It's a place for folks to want to use some strength training equipment in a clean gym with friendly and courteous people and staff.

Great little gym. Super nice people with well chosen equipment that is clean and in good shape. Everything you need to get the job done. Unfortunately no child care which has recently become a must for me, so have to cancel. But otherwise really great.
