If you are pregnant or postpartum this yoga studio is a MUST for you. It’s more than a studio, this is a third place where you can find community and you get taken care of when you go for a class or an activity. It’s owned by a doula and you can feel the love in every single corner of the space. I highly recommend it if you are looking to keep practicing yoga or body movement while pregnant and postpartum. If you are in need of a community of mamas and connection with purpose while you are in your transition, this is the place to go. You are welcomed with your authentic 100% pregnant self, and you are treated with kindness. There are all kinds of classes, activities, and events related to you, you and your partner and even with your little one. It is worth the trip and I promise you will be renewed after a session there.

As a brand and lifestyle photographer, I’ve had the joy of photographing many spaces but Austin’s Yoga Lounge is truly something special. The energy here is grounded, heart-centered, and full of warmth. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how intentional every detail is. From the calming light to the serene flow of the space.
Photographing this studio was a dream. The natural textures, the beautiful light, and the sense of community made every shot feel alive and full of story. It’s the kind of place that reminds you what peace feels like.
If you’re in Austin and looking for a place to reconnect, this is it. And if you’re a wellness brand or yoga studio wanting to bring your essence to life through photography. I’d love to help you capture that same sense of presence and beauty!

Going to AYL was the best decision I made during pregnancy! Flows are focused on changes happening to your body as well as preparing for labor. Lindsey is super knowledgeable, laidback, and creates a great space to chat with other ladies.
Now that I'm post-partum, I have no idea what I would have done without these classes!! They have truly helped me heal correctly and safely from pregnancy + delivery as well as provided a space for me to connect with others and bond with my little guy.

AYL was the most incredible and supportive community during my pregnancy! I can’t imagine going through the experience without the prenatal yoga classes, wonderful teachers, and fellow students. My husband and I also worked with Lindsey, the owner, as our birth doula and we had the absolute best experience with her. Highly recommend this studio and Lindsey for all things birth! Can’t wait until I can come back for postnatal classes soon :)

Lindsey has created a beautifully unique and supportive community at Austin Yoga Lounge. We had just moved to Austin, where we didn’t know anyone, when we found out we were pregnant with our first. I started prenatal classes when I was 22 weeks along, and I am now attending with my 5 month old son. The women that I have met through the many classes offered have created a community that I can reach out to for support, as well as enjoy physical movement that is both safe and effective during and after pregnancy. I would recommend this studio to anyone that is expecting or has just welcomed a little one into their life.

I cannot say enough good things about Lindsey and the beautiful space she has created! I started going to Austin Yoga lounge around 11 or 12 weeks pregnant. I was doing hot yoga around 3 to 4 times a week and some Pilates here and there, but I quickly had to change my routine as an expecting mother. And I was so blessed to find Austin Yoga lounge!
I love taking the power flow classes for a bit of a challenge, and show up almost every Tuesday and Thursday to do Alex’s prenatal strength. Do not be fooled, you will absolutely get a workout from these classes! Motherhood can be such an adjustment and I’m so grateful that I get to continue to move my body in a way that serves me.
Beyond fitness, Austin Yoga lounge has a ton of different workshops geared towards various topics, mother’s groups, and even doula services. I am a first time mom, and I live out of state and away from all my family, and Austin Yoga lounge has been my support system and my village through these past six months. If you are an expecting mother looking for any level of support, I highly recommend you come. It truly goes beyond just a place to work out. It is a community. It is a home. It is a sisterhood!

Austin Yoga Lounge is a godsend. During my pregnancy it was so nice to be in a space where I could move my body without stressing about posture and positions that could be harmful or painful. Now in my postpartum phase, there are options for baby and me classes which is so, so helpful for this season of life. To move my body and connect in community is vital!
Every teacher I’ve had at AYL has been so sweet, nurturing and really seem to listen.
The studio itself is inviting and always stocked well with tea and little snacks. Lindsey knows how to take care of the mamas!
I only wish they were still on classpass, but I have no complaints about any of my visits! 10/10

Joining this prenatal yoga studio has been hands down the best decision I’ve made during my pregnancy—and I say that with 100% confidence. If I could recommend it to every pregnant person out there, I absolutely would.
From the very first class, the instructors made me feel seen and supported. They remembered my name from day one, which might seem like a small thing, but it truly made me feel like I belonged. The instructors here are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. You can tell they genuinely care.
There’s an amazing variety of classes to fit every mood and need—from deeply relaxing and restorative sessions to empowering flows that prepare your body (and mind) for birth and labor. Each class helps you reconnect with your changing body and feel strong, grounded, and capable through all the shifts pregnancy brings.
What’s also been so meaningful for me is the mental and emotional support this studio provides. You’re surrounded by professionals who are happy to answer questions and share wisdom, but equally important, you’re also surrounded by other pregnant people walking the same path. Just being in that village makes such a difference—you feel less alone and so much more supported.
And beyond the regular classes, the studio offers a wide range of super useful workshops on everything from childbirth and postpartum recovery to breastfeeding and baby care. It’s truly a unique, all-encompassing space for pregnant people in Austin. I feel so lucky to have found it.

Joining Austin Yoga Lounge is one of the best things I’ve done for myself during this pregnancy. I started taking classes here when I was 17 weeks because I could no longer continue my previous workouts (contact sport) but still wanted to keep my body moving. I love how the Prenatal Power Flow and Prenatal Strength classes have helped me maintain my strength/mobility/balance. The instructors here are so knowledgeable and truly care about all of the students. I love the community of pregnant women as well. It’s been really nice meeting people who are on the same journey and can share the same milestones, struggles, and joys. I can’t wait to try the postnatal classes after baby is here.

I truly don’t know what I would do without Austin Yoga Lounge. This studio has been an absolute lifeline for me during my pregnancy. I started coming early in my second trimester and am now into my third—and I honestly can’t imagine going through this journey without the support, guidance, and strength I’ve gained here.
Not only have the classes helped me nourish and care for my body, but the mental and emotional benefits have been just as powerful. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and welcoming (big shoutout to Lindsey and Alex!) and the community of students has been just as inspiring. I’ve learned so much—not just about movement and breath, but about how to truly prepare for birth and motherhood.
Austin Yoga Lounge offers so much more than just yoga. From strength training to pregnancy-specific classes and workshops, everything is designed to empower and support you. This place goes beyond yoga—it’s a community, a sanctuary, and an essential part of my pregnancy journey. I'm SO happy I found this place!

I learned about this place by a google search and I’m really glad I gave it a try. The space is calming and very welcoming. So far I have only done flow yoga and strength. Alex is a great instructor and very personable. Lindsey is great at what she does and I like that she really takes the time to listen to you and come up with solutions. She genuinely comes off as really wanting to know the soon to be mamas. Well I should say both instructors are genuinely caring and ready to help. I highly recommend this place. AYL provides the sweetest and most supportive community for expecting and postnatal moms. It’s hard to find a yoga studio solely dedicated to the pregnancy / postpartum stages, and AYL is such a hidden gem across the many yoga studios in Austin. If you’re expecting in Austin, come to Austin Yoga Lounge. I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. This is my first pregnancy, and at about 14 weeks, after a very nauseous first trimester, I was looking for a place to do some safe movement. But wow, I found so much more than yoga. It’s a community, an endless resource, and a truly special space that has made all the difference in my pregnancy journey so far.
Lindsey (owner) is so gifted, and has clearly poured her heart and soul into AYL. Every class is thoughtfully designed, whether that's gentle restoration or strength-building flows. The variety of classes makes it easy to find something that fits my schedule and what I'm craving physically. Also, every instructor is lovely and such a wealth of knowledge.
My partner loves this place, too (despite the fact he has never been) just based on the noticeable difference it's made in how I feel day to day. I truly can’t imagine pregnancy without it, and am endlessly grateful for the support and care they provide 💛

Started coming to AYL when I was about 8 weeks postpartum. I love that I can begin to reconnect with my pre-pregnancy yoga and exercise routine in a way that is safe for my current body. It's so fun to see all the babies - it's like a preview of what's coming with our little one. The classes are also a great community builder at a time that can sometimes feel very lonely.

I cannot recommend Austin Yoga Studio enough!
I started looking for prenatal yoga classes when I was about 14-16 weeks pregnant. I tried a few classes around town and not only was this far and beyond my experience at other studios, this studio was the only one dedicated to prenatal and postnatal yoga specifically which means there’s multiple classes per week that fit your schedule.
Aside from yoga classes, the studio hosts many educational classes around pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, breath work and labor techniques, and general women’s well-being, many of which I attended and found so much value in.
I found such a sense of community with the women here who were all sharing their journeys together. Oh! And an amazing doula in Lindsey, the studio owner/one of the instructors, which I couldn’t have been happier with. She was beyond kind, supportive, advocated for me, and provided a calm and grounding presence throughout my pregnancy, labor, and even postpartum.

I searched all of Austin for a prenatal yoga studio, and this is the only one that specializes in only prenatal and postnatal yoga. I started going to classes at 13 weeks pregnant and gained a lot of confidence learning about how to move my body safely. The teachers are so knowledgeable and give excellent cues, especially Lindsey and Maggie. Everything I’ve learned at these prenatal classes I’ve apply to other workouts outside of the studio (strength training) or even moving around my house. It’s a beautiful and supportive community, and it feels great to be surrounded by other women and pregnant bodies who are in a similar stage of life or a bit ahead. They have phenomenal monthly workshops as well like breath-work for labor, how to prepare for early postpartum, and breastfeeding. The weekly mother’s circles are also super supportive and a great way to connect with other moms. I am so, so grateful for this space and community—it has helped make my pregnancy experience so much more empowered, fun, and supported.

Finally a studio dedicated to pre/post natal class! I didn't come when I was pregnant, but have heard amazing things. I recently joined the baby yoga class with my 5-6 month old and it's a wonderful studio and community. With babies, anything goes so don't hesitate to come even if your non-mobile baby is fussy. It's a welcoming environment where you can be late, nurse, diaper change and mats/props/blankets are provided and set up/put away (since we have our hands full with babies). Definitely recommend to get some movement and bonding with the babies. The mother's circle was also lovely and a safe space to share/listen.

Austin Yoga Lounge has been such a gift during my pregnancy. Classes go beyond traditional yoga strengthening, stretching, and relaxing. The prenatal classes also build community by starting with a check-in about what stage of pregnancy everyone is at and what they have been experiencing. It’s been so helpful to have a space to meet other women going through the same experience, to ask questions, and to learn from one another. Their partners in birth workshop also helped me and my partner feel more prepared for labor and delivery. Another plus (and rarity in Austin) is that they don’t charge to borrow mats or equipment. It’s a great studio for beginners and seasoned yogis alike.

Full disclosure: I teach at this studio. But as someone who has taught at many studios around town, I will say that this place has a really special vibe, and a mission of filling the gap in the Austin yoga scene by bringing accessible prenatal and postnatal yoga to our community. The space is cozy and welcoming, and each class is tailored to the needs of the students that walk in. It is so amazing that the studio offers both prenatal and postnatal classes because it is so rewarding to get to be a part of a student's pregnancy journey and then get to meet their baby and see them again at the baby-and-me classes! Plus, the students create their own community amongst themselves and each class reminds me of how much we need our village to support us through these transitional times of life. This studio is creating something new and special in Austin and I hope you will come see for yourself what makes it so wonderful.
