BCS Fitness offers prescriptive personal training & small group fitness programs designed specifically for adults over 40 in Bryan, TX and College Station, TX. Our mission is to help you look, move, and feel better with age-appropriate, joint-friendly workouts tailored to your goals, fitness level, and health history.

We keep our coach-to-client ratio low with each coach working with a max of 5 clients so you get the benefits of customized personal training with the energy and support of a small group.
Your first step is a private Lifestyle Consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, medical history, and fitness background, then create a plan just for you.

I have never been a fan of working out, especially at a gym in front of others! A friend recommended I try BCS and I decided why not! The moment I got there I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared about. Brad and his staff have been so fun to work with. I actually look forward to working out now. The workouts are small group and tailored to my needs. I don’t feel pressure to do things outside of my comfort zone. When we moved to College Station, I tried many gyms and classes looking for "my place." A place where I felt comfortable. A place with workouts that I enjoyed and were sustainable. A place where the trainers cared about me. The reason I chose BCS Fitness was the level of personal attention that I received from my very first meeting with Brad Tillery. He inquired about my fitness journey, and I shared my goals and struggles. He assured me that those goals could be met by taking small steps every day. And he was correct. It has been nine years since I started working out with them, and I love it today as much as I did then. I have lost weight and gained muscle. But more importantly, I have a workout routine that is enjoyable and easy to maintain. The classes are short, but packed with functional moves to keep me healthy, active, and in shape. Due to the small class sizes, the trainers are able to work closely with each client, modifying moves and/or challenging us when necessary. They know all their clients and greet them by name every single day! The trainers are friendly, professional, and have a wealth of fitness knowledge. BCS Fitness has helped me with improving my nutrition and taught me that small choices really make big differences. I am so happy that I chose BCS Fitness - South Studio! It is "my place!"

I've only been in the program 6 weeks. I already have more strength, better balance, and feel better mentally. I am retired, no spring chicken, so I have some issues with my joints. The staff is intent on making better the things that can get better without hurting the things that are damaged. The atmosphere at this gym is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the staff. They are personable, knowledgeable, and engaging while still pushing you to do things you didn't know you could do. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to feel better.

BCS Fitness is a fantastic gym for personal training. I've been attending this gym for nearly two years and worked with two trainers, Nathan and Caden. Nathan left about 5 months ago, so I will focus my review on my current trainer, Caden. Though Nathan too was a wonderful trainer.

The best way to illustrate the quality of their personal training is to elaborate the progress I've made there:

-PULL-UPS: Prior to joining BCS Fitness, I was unable to do a proper pull-up. Their cues and instruction have helped not only to do pull-ups, but to do sets of 10 and even weighted pull-ups.

-WEIGHT LOSS: I've lost about 30 lbs and dropped my body fat percentage from 35% to 25%. It has not been a painful endeavor as Caden has provided easily achievable calorie goals and great cardio programming that doesn't completely devastate my energy levels for the day.

-SQUAT BALANCE: I've had poor balance while doing bulgarian/split squats previously. The cues provided to me at BCS Fitness have completely changed my balance. Not only are my split squats fluid and deep, but I've started to be able to load them.

I can't endorse BCS Fitness highly enough. The trainers are knowledgeable, dedicated, and responsive. The prices for training might be higher than those at chain gyms such as TruFit, but the quality more than matches the price.

I’ve been at BCS Fitness on and off for a few years and this is the best personal training in the Brazos Valley. They’re attentive to each clients needs and truly do work their hardest to make sure you’re doing exercises that are a perfect fit for you. It is small group training (for me), but with the most personalized feel. I was out for a little over a year and had noticed my muscle mass had definitely dwindled. Within a few short weeks of being back here I had noticeable changes in my muscle mass. They’re great at what they do here and I highly recommend this place.

By far the best use of money at a gym I’ve ever experienced. BCS Fitness is as close as you’ll get to personal training without costing a small fortune. All of the trainers are ready to help adjust the workout specific to you and the workouts include strength and functional movement rooted in science. Ready to start feeling good …

You know that feeling when you get out of a car and it takes a few moments just to crank your body upright because you’re so stiff? That was me. “Working out” in my forties and fifties was always hit or miss. Then I started a business in my sixties (not exactly great timing for self-care), and I worked 24/7 — at my laptop, not at workouts. Muscle loss, fatigue and stiffness followed right along!

In my early 70’s, I finally said … enough is enough. After visiting physical therapists for a range of issues, I realized that my body wasn’t going to improve unless I helped it consistently. I figured those therapists should know where I should go … and the consistent answer was BCS Fitness.

Was I fortunate to walk through their doors!

From day one, I felt supported, seen, and challenged in the best possible way. The small group training model works great - the trainers give focused, one-on-one attention making sure you’re doing the exercises correctly and … safely! It’s not about pushing hard for the sake of it … it’s about moving well, building strength, and staying consistent.

I can’t begin to describe how much better and confident I feel in my body. I move more freely, feel stronger and have more energy! Their team meets you where you are, and then help move you forward.

I admit, I’ve never been a fan of gyms and did not enjoy personal training at all. But hitting the mid-60s, I needed to start a fitness program. BCS Fitness looked like a place where I could get personal training for my age (so I didn’t hurt myself trying to do it on my own) and at a reasonable cost. I’ve gotten much more than I expected.
The coaches at the South studio are fabulous. All of them. They pay attention to each client’s individual situation and fine tune workouts for progress without injury. Their encouragement is genuine and the fun, positive environment they and my “co-workouters” create makes me forget that I’m actually working hard. I’ve only been a client for a little over four months, but already I’ve noticed improvements – I’m stronger, my posture is better, and I have a lot more energy. I started with twice a week sessions, but I love the difference I’ve felt so moved up to three times a week. I’m now a fan of personal training!

I am a person who generally has a very difficult time getting to the gym. Since I’ve started going to BCS Fitness that has changed I now enjoy going to the gym. At BCS Fitness it’s not just any regular gym they’re different because they actually want you to be successful. With small group personal training sessions you don’t have to think about what you’re going to do when you get to the gym, they have everything already planned out for you. The personal trainers there are all so friendly and they are all knowledgeable and helpful in guiding you through the days workout. They personalize the workout to meet whatever needs or concerns you have. Not to mention if you don’t show up for your session they notice and have a great accountability system to keep you on track to help meet whatever goals you have set. Yes it is more costly than your typical gym but what you get for price is truly worth it. Here everyone knows your name and you’re not just some bar code or account number to be scanned. I cannot recommend this gym enough!

BCS Fitness is the first gym of any type that I have joined. I started coming, with the encouragement of my husband (who had also received BCS Fitness recommendations from other clients), after vague fitness goals that had been lurking in the back of my mind were suddenly shoved into a clear position of necessity at the forefront of my mind. Been going to BCS Fitness for a couple of years now. Both locations are great but I currently go to the South Studio. Brad and his team are fantastic. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable about the fitness industry. The workouts are always something different and they can adjust each exercise to fit your skill level. I don’t think I can ever go back to a regular gym after doing the small group personal training method. You just show up and they walk you through the entire workout. 30 minutes a day is totally doable and easy to fit in my schedule. Would highly recommend BCS Fitness to anyone who struggles to stay motivated and/or doesn’t know where to begin in the gym. Bcs Fitness has been a wonderful experience for me! I’ve done many different types of workouts through the years but with some injuries I needed a little bit more individualized help. I love the small training groups and the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable and fun.

I always feel so much better after I’m done with the workout and the 30 minutes seems to go very fast. We seldom do the same workout twice but they’re all functional workouts wonderful for someone who is in their 30s or 40s or beyond :-) Anytime I’ve come in with a sore or strained area, the trainers have been wonderful at adjusting workouts to fit my needs, but still letting me work on mobility and strength.

Getting to see the same small group each time I go in is a great motivation - we have so much fun - so even on days when I don’t feel like working out, I know I will end up being so glad I went!

The trainers get to know you personally and they are happy to modify for any issues you are having. BCS Fitness South is an outstanding small group (4-5 people per trainer) personal training gym. The trainers are highly qualified, positive and supportive in their coaching, and adjust the workout to maximize your outcome as well as fit your needs. I have worked out 3 days per week for 17 years. After having multiple other gym memberships that I looked at the tag on my keychain and felt guilty about I found BCS Fitness and have not looked back. The 30 minute workouts vary so all muscle groups are targeted through the week as well as cardio and flexibility.

The facilities are spotless and well maintained with a wide variety of equipment. Communication with the staff is great with newsletters, Facebook, and text. Everyone is pleasant and enjoyable. The clients are a mixed age group ranging from college age to senior with an occasional high schooler. No one judges what you can do! We just get after it and encourage, no complaining!!

BCS Fitness has made a huge difference in my life helping me to regain my physical fitness and to maintain it over the years. I have been able to do activities with my family like hiking down the Matterhorn and running a mini triathlon that I never imagined that I could do. As a grandparent I can play on the floor and keep up with the grands.

BCS Fitness is an excellent personal training gym that supports you as a whole person and genuinely cares about each client. It is the best!

My husband and I are in our mid-to-late 50s. We both struggled with our weight, and we both added on pounds during the pandemic. Then we found BCS fitness. The trainers are amazing – always encouraging us and helping us modify exercises to meet our individual needs. The 30-minute workouts are so doable and appropriately challenging. I have loved working out at the BCS South studio the past two years. The workouts are only 30 minutes but very effective and always different. The trainers are awesome and make it fun. They really went the extra mile for me this year while I was recovering from a major knee surgery. Not only did they customize my workouts but they talked with my PT so they knew what I needed to be focusing on. They encouraged me through the hard and were so excited to see me improve. Another really awesome bonus is the friends I’ve made in the small groups. I look forward to seeing them weekly! If you are looking for a great workout, with a great team, in a super clean studio (didn’t mention that!), this is your place!

BCS fitness was a great partner/program before the pandemic. But what has impressed me more has been how they have reinvented themselves since the pandemic. Client safety is the #1 priority. We are spaced out, we have our own equipment, and you can see them clean it frequently. Love working out at BCS Fitness! There's a great community there and the trainers push you enough to grow but not too much. Since I started four months ago, I've lost fat, gained muscle, and am much better overall shape.
