It has everything u need to get where u want to be. Even small obscure pieces of equipment that if used properly work wonders. Everyone is chill and can't get in if you don't got membership access so safe pla e for late night workouts when the majority of the city is sleeping. Love it and glad I came across this gem of a gym.

Awesome gym! I was a long time member of Lifetime at The Rim which was always way over packed at all hours. At Beast you can find your hrs where you can be almost alone or be around 8-10 people working out. Everyone is friendly and polite. The staff is also friendly. All the trainers there are super friendly and professional, will give you free tips just out of courtesy. Open 24hrs. The outside area is a game changer during peak summer or winter weather, it’s just an awesome experience. They have great new and old school equipment. All around a Beast of a gym 💪🏼

This is the best gym I have found in San Antonio. Being from Arlington, TX this is like Metroflex to me. Tons of old school equipment and everyone is super nice. It’s 24/7 and private. Why haven’t you joined yet?????

Cool gym Idea. But not very welcoming to newcomers. To get in, you need a membership access card. But I only wanted a day pass so I was left outside because no one that works here is at the desk. I scanned So the qr code outside stupidity and paid for nothing 🤦‍♂️. I wouldn't recommend coming on sundays.

Great gym, great people. The sign up was easy and took about 5 minutes, no long term commitment. Very reasonable on the price for what you get. A good selection of machines and substantial free weight available. Every sort of bar or device you could want. The indoor section is well designed. The outdoor section has much more room and a variety of gear. It's nice to get outside and work up a sweat. The owner and staff maintain the machines and the gym is clean. The people that come in here are upbeat, friendly, polite. You'll see training staff in the gym regularly and they do a very good job with their clients both physically and mentally. A fair amount of women use this gym and I think that says a lot about the way it's run and who is coming in. You can come here, be safe, get a great workout, get on with your day. If you're looking for a great gym in this area I highly recommend Beast.

I recommend Beast Gym for those wanting to train in peace and in a respectful environment. Especially for women who don’t “feel safe” going to gyms alone I am a shorter woman and always feel comfortable. Great equipment and of course who doesn’t love Beast the dog what a great mascot.

My son and I went. No staff member was in the office. We waited for a while outside. The staff was working out. So we get in and pay our 10 bucks each. The supplements were way overpriced. The inside is super cramped. The outside lifting area is mostly machines. My son wanted to go there. So, we went. He is starting his weight training journey. I don't get the whole furry theme being pushed around this whole gym. I am glad this place wasn't packed when we went. It would have been cramped. It's not worth 10 bucks each for a day pass. I would pay 5 bucks for a day pass. 55 bucks each is too much, given that there are no amenities. The gym was clean. For a gym, it didn't smell funky. The machines were not torn up. All sorts of dumbbells. There are lots of weights to go around. It was even clean in the outside part of the gym as well. They offered cleaning supplies for you to use on equipment. Water fountain. Clean Restroom. Lots of mirrors.

This is an awesome gym. The owner really takes time to keep it clean and you can tell he really cares about his gym and the people. He took time out to show me how to use the equipment and because I was a newbie and asked for help. And I didn't feel judged for that. I only had signed up for 3 months, but I plan on going again. It's a great location and loved the outdoor area especially.

I Didn’t wanna have to leave this review but after asking the older gentleman with glasses (Anthony I believe) to fix my membership and key card multiple times politely, he did NOT fix it..after I asked him the 2nd time if my key card will work next time I come back, he said that it would work and the 3rd time I come back it said my membership was terminated which means he basically LIED to me?? I got the 3 month membership and It had only been 2 months in, which means I should still have a month left since I payed for it. It’s stressful & frustrating driving there and wasting gas just for my key card to not work and let me in the gym

Was a breeze to sign up! Took less than 5 minutes and honored my veteran status for military rates. I canceled my planet fitness membership for this gym and love that it has indoor and outdoor gym. I love this place. They have damn near all the equipment to accommodate my current programming but the environment is what truly makes this place 5 stars. Unlike most commercial gyms, you can workout without worrying about disturbing those around you. I stick in my headphones and nobody bothers me.

Do not go here and take your money elsewhere. The workers are rude and when they get called out, they act childish. I canceled my membership and this "gym" still charged me for 2 months and I went back in person and demanded why was I still being charged when it's canceled and they stated it was a "mistake" on our end. Pathetic!!!

Today I was going to sign up to the gym under the military rate as I’m a veteran. I first went on their website to check it out, I have driven by it and I live close and have been wanting a good true non commercial gym so online it said to sign up in person so I called to see if I can show my DD-214 since I don’t have an ID so the desk guy asked the owner or manager idk and I heard him say “oh so he’s not active ? Nah “ exact words I heard so what ? Veterans are worth less? Then the desk guy got back to me and said you can be under military but it would be 5 bux more per month. NONE of this is mentioned online btw. Horrible customer service horrible values

Donald was a fantastic trainer. But getting this gym to cancel my membership makes it not worth starting up.

I called to cancel on 3/31 after realizing I left it going for a couple months: guy says text me and I’ll take care of it, 4/30 comes around and they bill me again. I call, guy says the same thing.
Well the charge is still on my CC as of today, so maybe this review will get them to follow through.

This gym is illegally charging my credit card even though my husbands last time there was in May 2019 and the owner told him his membership was canceled. Now it’s Feb and March of 2020 and they are charging my card not a recurring payment. Even after speaking to the owner directly he is refusing to refund the money. I have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my bank and will be reporting them to the proper authorities as this is the very definition of fraud. Avoid this gym as these people are very dishonest.

Very clique oriented. Trainers can be very very rude and uninviting. They look down on people that aren’t apart of their little cliques and they aren’t welcoming whatsoever! WORST gym environment I’ve EVER witnessed. Don’t spend a dime here with any of the trainers or with the gym itself! Horrible business ethics! Save your money and time!
