Fonzi is an amazing yoga instructor! Although I am a beginner, and there were experienced students and even other instructors in this class, everyone had a very positive experience. Fonzi’s ability to communicate, his soothing voice, his thoughts which he expressed at appropriate times, his own technique demonstrating the yoga postures while he talked us through them, and his own inner calm and meditative state which we absorbed from him, all contributed to an excellent session. The small class size was wonderful!

The Breath Work class by Laura was absolutely amazing. To say it took my literal breath away would be an understatement. She worked the room and the class so wonderfully that with your eyes closed you felt like the only person there. I hope everyone is as lucky to get to experience that!

The building and studio its self was clean and peaceful as well and I would love to come back and also try out the yoga! Hands down, thumbs up!

One of my favorite go-to studios in the Austin area!! The space is warm, open and Inviting, teachers and staff always kind and engaging and the yoga instructors are top notch! A studio that truly embodies the traditions and teachings of Yoga.
The Yin Soundbath was a very special treat. An opportunity to rest within myself, an incredible sensory and sound experience for body, mind and spirit leaving me feeling empowered, cleansed and re-centered. Thank you BFree! I love you!

I accidentally signed up for a more advanced class and was feeling a little unsure upon arriving, but Shelby immediately put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable. I had by far one of the most rewarding experiences with yoga I have ever had! Her class is fantastic and the environment is wonderful! It was my first time at Bfree, but definitely not my last, I highly recommend!

Bfree is my favorite studio! All of the instructors are top-notch. Especially helpful w my running injuries. Halloween was a great class - worked on my hips a ton and feel great! I’ve been doing yoga for 15 (or so) years but I’m easily the least flexible in class! Highly recommend for all levels!

BeFree not only offers unique, refreshing, quality yoga classes with their highly trained and skilled yoga instructors, they are also a place of community. A welcoming and healing space for folks new to yoga and those with a life long practice. My last class there offered unique, informed and interesting asana with a beautiful message from the teacher who played us live music in the form of mantra. As a ten plus year yoga student, I have practiced at many studios is Austin, I truly feel that BeFree is a special place. I wish I could be there everyday. Seriously, if you are considering going- do it. The price for classes is matched with high quality teaching and then some.

BFREE is the best yoga practice I have found in Austin. The studio is inviting and the teachers are wonderful. I am a huge fan of the owner, Shelby, and her classes are incredible--you will SWEAT! Classes are popular, with good reason. I have taken a half-dozen classes with other instructors at the studio as well, and have really enjoyed them all. I would highly recommend BFREE to anyone looking for a centered, connected hot yoga practice.

I always leave BFree with a smile on my face. The location is very convenient, there are free towels and mats, and the fellow yogis are friendly and unassuming. The classes are challenging and sweaty, but the instructors also offer modifications to make sure everyone can participate, regardless of ability.

I love Bfree! I've been coming there regularly on the intro pass I just started and I definitely want to keep coming in. It's a short walk from my place. I love warm and accepting attitude of everyone there and also love the variety of classes from the more high energy flow and strength classes to the restorative hatha and yin yoga classes. Definitely try it out!

Bfree is my favorite studio in town! The teachers always stretch you and push your mental and physical limits, but in a fun and welcoming environment that encourages learning. 5-10 min early is "on time" if you want to make sure you have a spot for weekend AM classes. Bring your mat towel, cause you're gonna sweat!

BFREE YOGA Austin is a fabulous place to engage the practice of yoga, in a spirit of great community and support. I'm about to complete my 7 days for $24, and this has been time and money more than well spent. The teachers are great, compassionate, skilled and superb listeners. They take us seriously and are not overbearing. Not only is the location a great one, they have PARKING--which is always a consideration in Austin. Whether you are a newbie or an experienced yogi, BFREE is a great place to call home!

So excited to find them! Yippee!!! Strongly invite you to come and sample the classes. You will NOT be disappointed.

BFREE is hands down my favorite place to practice in Austin! The instructors are incredible -- they encourage while still finding exciting ways to challenge. The space is clean, open, and welcoming. And the community is lovely -- I brought my partner to a class last week, and ran into four friends who were all coming to the same class! It was very cute. Really happy that I found this place! It's the only place I keep coming back to, and will continue to.

My boyfriend and I love BeFree. It’s a closer knit community than a lot of yoga studios. This is the type of studio I go to in Houston, so it is nice to find a home when gone from home.

We have taken Shelby’s class multiple times and love it. It is challenging, creative, and moving. (We also took a Rocket 3 class from a substitute one time. This was fantastic, as we typically only see Rocket 2 classes at our home studio.)

We will keep coming back every time we are in town!

BFREE is hands down one of, if not the best, yoga studios in Austin. It is so hard to find a good studio where the teachers are highly skilled and there is such a welcoming and inclusive community of yogis. I tell anyone looking for a good class to make BFREE their first stop.

Awesome studio in downtown Austin. All the teachers I met were inviting, knowlegable, and challenging in the perfect way. They have a variety of classes from yin and meditation; slower, non-heated hatha; to advanced, heated vinyasa flows. The studio itself is bright and clean, and compared to others, BFREE has such a strong and warm community feel that will keep you coming back for more.

Great studio and atmosphere! If you’re not a consistent yogi like myself then this is a great place as some poses can be intimidating, but Shelby does a great job of showing you what to focus on to build up to a more advanced pose. Having an idea of what to focus on helps you want to continue to build on to your practice. She is also very attentive to form throughout class.
