The staff was unprofessional. They cussed at myself and another gym member about racking weights when we always rack our weights. I would have appreciated them just giving us a friendly reminder to rack our weights and we would have acknowledged but instead our workout was ruined by their rudeness and unprofessionalism

These people just bought a bunch of old machines and weights at yard sales and slammed as many machines as they could into a small building lol. For $80 a month i will just drive 40 min to Hobbs and Lift at planet fitness instead of 20 min drive to Kermit to look for mismatched weights.

I mean it is what it is. The other members don’t put up any weights. Half of my workout is looking for the proper plates. The other half is dying from heat exhaustion because there’s no a/c. They have big fans out but they don’t help much unless you’re right in front of them. The heat is so bad that it’s affecting my workouts. It saps the strength and energy right out of me. A little pride in the gym would be nice. Make people put weights up. It’s a trip hazard walking over the various attachments and plates just left laying wherever someone has the mind to put them which isn’t in its proper place. I like the old school feel of the place though. It feels like an old hardcore bodybuilding gym. If I had other choices closer I would certainly choose them though.

I would have given this gym 5 stars however, after today I don’t know if I’ll be returning. I work away from home and finding a gym in the area I work in is very critical to Me. So when I found this gym I thought great I have some place to blow off steam and destress. The staff was great, great workout environment. I spoke to one of the managers yesterday and informed them that I’ll be going back home on days off and that I would be returning in a week. The manager then informed me that I could renew my membership when I returned seeing how my due date was going to be today. So I show up to workout today and who ever the blind lady is that works there on the weekend literally told me I COULDNT workout unless I paid a day pass After I already spoken to a manager prior to this lady telling me I couldn’t workout. What kind of establishment is this that deals with the public that can’t honor their word? Highly disappointed. Not sure if it’s worth me ever coming back. Sad because I work with about 80 other guys that I was gonna try and get a group of us to join and workout together.

Great gym for anywhere let alone middle of nowhere west Texas. For what you get it is reasonably priced. Wish they had a yoga room. At present if you want to do yoga or stretch on floor you have to go at front of gym and crawl in the dirt that came off other ppl shoes. Couple of the treadmills don’t handle us fat guys trying to run well they would stall for just 1 sec which is just enough to hurt you knees or at least make you not focus on the run.

Ok, crack woman at the desk. Equipment is ready for the scraps. The showers are a staff infection billboard. For what they want it’s a complete joke. No sauna no whirlpool and if you don’t where some gloves and sanitize you might grow something.
