I came to Body yoga Thai chi looking for relief from pain in my upper back and lower back. Spinal surgery in 2020. The instructor is very knowledgeable in giving me stretching exercises for relief. Update:
I recently attended a virtual class (via zoom) here. The whole experience felt like I was actually in the classroom. Master DaYong (instructor) is an expert on technology and made sure the video and audio functioned seamlessly.

The highlights of the class was body tapping, 21 bow meditation and few minutes of dancing to let go all the stress at the end. Truly relaxing class for me. I hope they organize more and more online classes so that many can benefit from this awesome yoga (body and brain) technique.

I would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves yoga or is just looking to improve their health in general.

It is very unique program(mix of yoga, energy meditation, qigong). They provide National(online classes by different trainers ) and Local (inperson and online classes by Dayong) with different types of classes every day. All trainers are excellent! Breathing practices and releasing of stagnant energy by tapping and body shaking techniques seems to be weird in beginning but those plays key role to body flexibility, stress relief, circulation in whole body. It’s been a month I am in this practice, feel so great!
I feel this program is a little expensive. Other than that it is great experience and with commitment and consistency I hope will see more better results further .

My intuition told me to look up Tai chi but I also chose this place because they also teach you tapping methods to help you release anxiety/ stuck energies. I tried it out for one month and I did notice a big difference . Mr.Dal is very understanding and he makes you feel safe when sharing your emotions. He is a man of a few words but he knows exactly what you need without telling him your whole life story… he just understands . He encourages his students and always has a positive attitude. I found out about this place when I was searching for something to help heal my body after having surgery. Master DaYong really help me with healing my body. I go to the Tai Chi classes and it has help strengthen my body and with my gut health. He has done some energy healing as well that relief pressure on my head and release pain I had on my body. I have been active with Beltline Body & Brain since February 2020.

Master Dayong is always creative, inspirational, and enthusiastic. He is genuine in his wish to help everyone.

This is a group with national and international connections. There are frequent opportunities to experience a variety of Master instructors, coast to coast, and beyond, either by travel or virtual.

My biggest reward has been the elimination of sciatica related hip and leg pain that I have had for years. Other benefits I have experienced include improved breathing, concentration, circulation. and issues with PAD and peripheral neuropathy.

As a Senior with osteoporosis I have never felt out of place in any group at Body & Brain.

June 7, 2021 Update
A recent Bone Density test revealed an Improvement from two years ago. This is due ONLY to the Yoga and Tai Chi, with Dayong, which I have continued by Zoom. No meds have been taken.

Past years of water aerobics and working diligently with weight machines at the fitness center only allowed a decline from osteopenia to osteoporosis. Yoga and Tai Chi has done the trick for improving my bones.

I have had peripheral neuropathy for several years. The problem I’ve had is in finding that there is no cure to the illness. Recently my neurologist recommended that I take up Thai Chi as a method to reduce my pain and stability problems.

Upon checking with Google I found a studio named body and brain which is at the corner of beltline and Preston near Tom Thumb. It is run by a gentleman named Da Yong who teaches both tai chi and yoga.

I highly recommend this studio to my neighbors for both Tai Chi and Yoga.

My wife and I were introduced to Dahn Yoga by her cousin. To be honest I was pretty apprehensive at first. We went to an open class for friends and family to begin with. It was quite different than what I had preconceived in my mind and we ended up joining on the spot, as we were so impressed. I thought yoga was pretty much about holding poses and flexibility. Dahn Yoga is much different than that, it focuses on your overall well-being. Each class session is different, but we always do some form of stretching, breathing and exercises/activities that are intended to awaken our brain and our body's energy system. I am so much more aware of the state of my mind and body because of Dahn Yoga. I am more confident and have a greater sense of self and purpose. I have even began to correct my posture and notice when I am not breathing properly throughout the day. I've been going to the Body and Brain Center in the Woodlands for 3 years but had a chance to attend classes at the Belt Line Dahn Yoga Center while visiting Dallas. My experience here was consistent with my great experiences at the Dahn Yoga Centers in Houston. The studio has a peaceful ambience that you can feel as soon as you open the door. Classes are challenging yet relaxing, and member care is a joyful priority. People from all age groups and condition levels attended the classes doing the stretching and breathing at their own level, naturally moved into a relaxed meditative state and left feeling happy and refreshed. So great to know this place is here! I will definitely be visiting this center again when I travel to Dallas.

Dahn Yoga is the place to go if you would like to integrate your mind, body and soul.
I have found greater fortitude, peace, flexibility and strength by attending the various classes. Through the positive guidance from Master Bright, students are encouraged to stretch and grow their bodies. A wonderful result of this training is also a greater awareness of self.
Now my whole family is coming together to take classes and create a happy harmonious life. We all have much gratitude for this opportunity to grow together.

I attend classes at Belt Line Dhan Yoga and I love it. The place have good energy and welcoming the instructor – Master Bright Lee. She is amazing, very energetic, with a big smile and friendly.

The classes are perfect. I like the mix of stretching, breathing, it works for me. It is helping me to reduce my tension, blood pressure. Dhan Yoga helps you keep the head cool and chest comfortable. Fire Energy goes down to keep the lower body warm and healthy.

It is the best place if you want Healthy body, happy heart & power brain.
