I was doing my workouts in fitness connection before here. I was lucky as a college student to go at inconvenient times for 9-5 workers. However, now I am a 9-5 worker and trying to go to a commercial gym before or after work is absolutely awful. Here I have all the machines I need with a friendly crowd. Truly appreciate the gym Collin.

I absolutely love this gym! The playlists are better than mine sometimes so I don’t have to double back when i forget my head phones lol. Great location and easily accessible. It has all the equipment you could need and the roof workout area is nice! There’s always good vibes and it’s never overly crowded.

Solid gym. People come to work on themselves and people go hard. Not a judgmental place but there is also no “lunk alarms” 😉. Collin is a solid Manager and compared to other gyms, the pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!

I've been going to this gym for a couple of weeks now and I must say that it is awesome. If you are looking for a friendly open gym with lots of equipment to get a solid workout in, this is the place. Nobody bothers you, the atmosphere is great, and the people are friendly. They even have an upstairs where you can lift outside. Colin at the front desk is also an awesome dude.

I give this gym a 2 star. I would have have given it a 1 but the trainer that was around was super nice. We arrived to try a day pass because we were really interested in trying the gym. We waited to get help from anyone but there was no one in the front desk. The trainer told us to scan this Qr code and send a text message which I did and I received a reply the next day. The gym had a variety of things to do but it was a bit crowded. I’ve gone to so many gyms and the vibe for this gym was so bad, people would stare so judgmental to each other,( which is not the gyms fault, it’s the people who work out). What killed it for us was that the bathrooms were so nasty and it seemed like no one has cleaned in weeks. This gym has so much potential and if the management gets their game up, this gym can become one of the best but there needs to be change.

This gym has everything you would want when you are trying to regain control of your health and wellness journey. The moment I went to body district I understood the dedication that goes into it from all of the employees and the owner. From the trainers to the other members of the gym, they’re all amazing and encouraging to say the least. The music is amazing, the rooftop working area is even better and the people are the best. I want to thank body district for being so welcoming and hosting so many group classes that help me engage in workouts alongside other men and women who are determined. Well done to management and staff for pushing through COVID, ensuring guests are safe, and providing valuable information regarding health standards being practiced! If you are in Addison, Lewisville, Plano, Frisco-anywhere in the DFW area-this place is for you!

As with the previous reviews, they kicked out normal gym members, then came out with the same membership type post-COVID. However, this time, the owner/manager is rude & is the only one working there, so hours are not great for anyone needing access on the weekends. I couldn't even find anyone there to help me sign up when I showed up twice. They also don't answer the phone or emails. He said their "all access" pass would be going up in price & include a key-card access, but the hours would still be limited to 9am-2pm on weekends. When I politely suggested he keep the gym open until 10pm on weekends for member convenience, the discussion devolved into him thinking I was trying to "tell him how to run his business", even though my suggestion was one I said he could take or leave (and that would result in more customers - and money - in his pocket). He kept talking over me, very rudely, and eventually I just hung up because he wanted to "tell me how it is." Whatever! I'll just go to a gym 5 minutes away that's less than half as much, with much nicer staff, & better hours, and newer equipment.

Used to belong to this gym and enjoyed working out there. The owner changed the format of the gym, removing the open gym only option, and everyone that didn’t want to change to the very expensive format of group classes or personal training was no longer allowed. We were all sent a very rude letter stating that one’s passive use of the gym needed to take a backseat to others. Then after Covid hit, lo and behold the $36 a month open gym concept returned. The owner denied having kicked previous loyal members out and offered no form of apology or anything that would make former members desire to come back. Watch out if you are looking for a long term place because who knows when he will change the format again .

Body District is a great and very clean gym! Thank you Collin for the gym hospitality! This gym had a great first impression on me and my crew that came in. In the COVID world that we are in right now the facility was spotless! The bathroom is very big and was super clean as well and I can appreciate that! I certainly recommend the gym to anyone in the DFW area and especially if you live in Addison, TX.

Decent mid ranged gym with not quite enough equipment. Regardless, it had the support of the locals who live or work in Addison Circle but the owners decided to try and follow a different model that leaves out 90% of gym members. Meaning prices go way up and if you like to just workout on your own, we don’t want you. As stated by another reviewer, owners have the right to change but when they ding you for an extra $50 up front (recent enough they knew they were about to change membership options) and stick you with the extra month charge when you cancel because of that change, it just proved the owner is another muscle biz man with slightly more muscle than biz sense. Sorry to be harsh, but squeezing extra dollars from people who chose local over national chains is an indication your gym will soon be available for rent to be something else.

It was good while it lasted.

Found this place when I moved to Addison, back then it was a Trophy Gym facility but because of the new administration it became Body District, it was a new concept with great potential.
Nothing but nice people since I enrolled there, they were always smiling and greeting me by my name.
What I liked the most was that they kept the gym cleaned & organized + sweat towels.
I used to go training all the time, but I passed through some difficulties at my job so I kept absent and didn’t noticed all the changes that were happening inside the gym.
I spoke to Dylan recently in an attempt to freeze my account (membership) but he explained to me the new business model of the administration.
Unfortunately because of the new opening/closing hours and other restrictions it would be impossible for me to train there.
I do believe changes are good and happen for a reason, I witness the constant innovation of Body District so I wish them for the best.

I want to thank Justin (owner) for been a true gentleman and for have been willing to listen to all my doubts & concerns.
To Jack, Kat, Maggie, Marcus, and everyone who was there giving their 100%.

Convenient gym accross the street from my job not the best equipment but I knew what I was getting thanks to the 7 day trial .... Why I he low review they're changing their model and it's not that that upsets me.

So I understand a model change and everything but I just signed up a month ago paid a 50$ enrollment charge only to be asked to leave 3 months later.... Then I come to find out they had already been planning the model change beforehand....

Newly Renovated with Bright colors, a wonderful staff, group classes on the AstroTurf rooftop, dedicated trainers who genuinely care about your fitness goals, great music, pristinely clean locker rooms, and my personal favorite, a Finlandia Sauna. I love Body District because they literally have everything you need for a healthy lifestyle. They have towel service, Chargetech stations, great machines, plus an additional studio next door if you want to switch up your routine and enjoy cycle classes. The staff truly make it a great gym. Kat, Hannah, Mike, Dillan, Jack and Jerome make Body District hands down the best!

Sadly, I can no longer recommend Body District. Recently, the owner decided to begin changing the membership model for the club from individual workouts to a group model, at a higher cost. This has yet to be announced to the customers. Two months ago, I noticed a large number of people coming in all at once. This is a small gym. It's not well suited for large groups of people working out together. While these paying members have just as much right to be there as any other paying member, their coordinated activities take away from others who are not part of the group. This also creates an unsafe environment. When I complained about this, I was initially offered some personal training sessions as a customer service. I never received those sessions because the manager, decided not to give them to me when I complained about an unrelated matter. Looking back at my account history, I have spent over $2500 in membership fees and personal training since October 2017. I have been a very loyal club member. I was the first to post a review for Body District on Yelp and it was overwhelmingly positive. When I continued to complain about the group coming in and keeping me away from my workout activities, I was told that "the members who take his class spend more money than you do". The owner told me yesterday how offended he is that he has several customers who come in and "passively consume" their services. I found that statement offensive, and in my case, it's never been true. I have paid for several training sessions, both before he bought the club, and after. I was planning to purchase more later this year. I was a great customer, but they decided to cancel my membership because I was not happy about the workout group coming in. Before you sign up for a membership here, you need to know the situation. The owner wants to make more money, and that's totally understandable. If you plan to come in, do your own workout, and leave, you won't be seen as a good customer. You will be seen as "passively consuming" their services. I had a meeting with the owner, and the manager who reneged on those promised personal training sessions. I explained to them why I got so angry about the group coming in and interfering with my workouts, and I informed them about a disability that I have that was the root cause of my frustration. They. Didn't. Care. I received an email from the owner late last night after I had gone to bed that they were going to refund my June payment, and cancel my membership. For that, will file an ADA complaint. Yes, I'm doing this partly out of anger, but I will not accept having my membership canceled just because I was not happy about the group. I saw a problem. I complained about it. I was promised some additional personal training, and they reneged. I got my membership canceled because I complained, and sent what the manager called "stupid emails". If you live here at Post Addison Circle, you might think it's great to have a health club right here within walking distance. I did. I was a huge promoter of this place until this happened. Now, I have become its biggest detractor. I am angry and disappointed. Those are two things that will motivate me to do everything I can to make them pay for treating me this way. I will file an ADA complaint, and inform other residents here at Post Addison Circle that they should stay away from this place and look elsewhere. As a resident of the Town of Addison, I can have a free membership at the Addison Athletic Club. I instead chose to pay to go to Body District because of its close proximity and I enjoyed the service I received. They repaid my loyalty by canceling my membership.

**Update 7/31/19
The owner started texting me out of the blue this afternoon complaining about my review here and the one on Yelp. He accuse me of being dishonest. My reviews are 100% truthful. He told me that he recorded a phone call that he and I had before they canceled my membership (without my consent). As an extra intimidation tactic, he registered a new domain name using my first and last name. WTF!

I’ve been a member for 5+ years now and have several concerns that the overall level of quality has diminished as the years have gone on. The only reason I am a member is because I work next to the gym and it is extremely convenient. Other than that, no way would I be a member.
When the gym was bought out a couple of years ago, they used to have a basketball court on the roof that was great for pickup games at lunchtime or even after work. Now it is a “CrossFit” type training area. While it does seem nice, it’s only open to members who want pay for personal training sessions or classes. Regular members are no longer welcome. We do get to watch the new manager workout with no shirt on all the time up there now though, so hooray for us.

Equipment— not bad I guess. They are lacking several pieces of equipment, but it is smaller so I understand you can’t fit everything in. It does take a long time to get items fixed when they break, which only enhances the issue of there not being a lot of equipment. The leg extension machine has been broken now for a month with no end in sight. But they did put up a sign saying they are aware, so there is that. Several other pieces of equipment need new padding since the plastic padding is ripped and will scratch your skin when you use it. I will give them credit for buying a few new pieces of equipment that you can do multiple lifts on.
The televisions on the cardio equipment only have 10 channels or so. I have been told that it’s something to do with their cable package and they can only have a limited number of options in that area. I don’t feel a lot of people watch TBS or USA networks while working out, and I have asked to see if they could change it to FS1 or the Golf Channel in the past, but to no avail. Either way, it’s 2019... having such limited options is ridiculous. The TV in the locker room has all channels, but they keep it on espn (which is an adequate choice for a men’s locker room) but have now taken away the remote so it can’t be changed.

Staff— pretty average overall. The girl that works early in the morning is extremely nice and always says “hello” and asks how your day is going. Most of the staff that checks you in does as well and will respond to any problems pretty quickly. Their is a new trainer now who bring large groups in and frequently takes up large portions of the weight room. Much more crowded that it used to be. They are paying customers though, so it is what it is. The new manager (Dylan I think), never interacts or says “hello” to me and others I know that are members there. Spends his time working out on the roof and then walking around the gym after his workout with no shoes or socks on (this is just weird and bothers me). My only real interaction with him was when he came into the men’s locker room to turn the channel from FS1 (which I had changed it to) back to Espn. I was the only person in the locker room and was listening to it while I was changing. He then walked out with the remote and it hasn’t been back since. Oh, and one time after he was showering, to dry his hair (which is very long), he leaned forward and then flung his head back, which sent water from his hair flying over the shower door and landed on me after I was walking out of the showers. As you can imagine, I wanted to die, but instead put my head down and took another shower to wash his hair-water off me me. I wish they had found someone else to be the manager after the previous one left.

Locker room— one great improvement is putting a can of Lysol disinfectant in the toilet, allowing members to clean the seat prior to using it. Small gesture, but big win for members and I will give credit where credit is due. They have 2 stalls, but only one has Lysol (hint to the manager).
I have more to say on the locker rooms but I’m out of space in this review. Fix the air conditioning. 100% humidity in the mornings and hot all day. And don’t get me started on the mats in the showers.

I would not reccomend this gym to anyone. The AC in both the men’s and women’s locker room had been broken for months. Last time I was there the temperature read 76 in the women’s locker room. It is impossible to get ready after working out, because you cannot stop sweating.

I didn’t know what to expect but not only are the workouts and the other people exactly what I needed, but the entire staff is so helpful, motivating and friendly!

The bathrooms are clean with an awesome sauna. I love the rooftop where we do so many of our HIIT workouts and then the weight room and cardio rooms are always available and never too crowded . I personally would love to see more weight lifting machines. But, overall I love the convenience of parking and I always leave Happily sore and inspired to come back the next day.

Current review: Very disappointed in their new business model. They are switching to only group classes or personal training, no more open gym members. This increases the price from $40 a month to $150 minimum, and that $150 only gets you group classes, you can't even use the gym itself unless you're in a group class or paying $500 a month for a trainer, and then only if you have "been given instructions from their personal trainer". I used to like the convenience of this place as I live close by, and the staff, for the most part has been very nice. Although from the looks of the comments the owner has posted on some of the Google reviews, he might not be. He also sent in an email stating "One member’s passive consumption of the gym needs to take a backseat to another customer’s meaningful engagement with all of the amazing services we have to offer the community." Which I found very rude, I'm not passively using anything and I don't want or need your training or classes.

Do not recommend, just go to Fitness Connection or Crunch Fitness for a much cheaper and I'm sure much more personable environment.

Four star review from earlier this year: Decent gym if you're mostly into cardio, classes, and light lifting. Mostly my fault because I didn't pay attention to their posted signs I suppose but you're not allowed to drop any weights, which means no traditional deadlifting or lifting any amount where you might need to bail. First time I deadlifted one of the trainers politely told me the policy at which point I noticed the signs. Anyway, if you're a lifter I probably wouldn't workout here. I'll probably only stay a month or two, and that's just because I can walk here from my house. edit: Dropping weight includes just setting your weight down in a heavy manner (I.e. not setting it gently to the ground)

Please clean the shower floors in the men’s locker room, they are disgusting. I’m tired of constantly seeing the same hair and dirt piles weeks on end. I understand that you can’t clean them after every member uses it, but when the same dirt and hair is there for a few weeks, that’s a problem.

I've been going to this gym for a few years now when it was Trophy Fitness and with the new management in place I will be staying another ten years!! Joining has been the best decision I've made!!!

I am loving this place (formally known as trophy fitness). Since it's been under new ownership the gym has gone under many renovations making it more suitable and beneficial for its clients. New flooring, new paint, new equipment and a completely new vibe! The staff is extremely friendly and the facility is amazingly clean. Great job Body District!

I've been going to this gym for three years and while I've been happy with Trophy Fitness Club, I'm pumped for what's in store with Body District. The remodeling done has been fantastic and the equipment has received a much needed upgrade. The staff and trainers are always happy to see you and easy to shoot the breeze with. The locker rooms are cleaned multiple times a week. So much so that I'm comfortable taking showers without sandals (which, as some gym goers know, can be a risky proposition at some places). For the money conscious, I believe this place is an excellent bang for the buck. Excited to see what else is coming!

Very average small gym, very little equipment and I couldn't get a bench on non peak hours. Not recommended.

I have been going to this gym for a couple months and I absolutely love it! With my work schedule I am able to go when the gym is almost empty in the morning. I do not have a trainer but I see them everyday and they are friendly and very welcoming! The janitorial staff even says hello to me and asks me about my day!! Some gyms you go to they do not care about you unless you are paying to be trained but these guys/gals will treat you like family! My husband and I will not be leaving anytime soon. Thank you Trophy Fitness for making our transition from Houston a lot easier! See y'all tomorrow!

Love this gym! They really make use of the space they have - so far they've had every piece of equipment I've needed for my workouts. The staff is SO nice and helpful no matter what time of day you go. I never feel out of place there; you see every body type there that's working towards the same goal and everyone is treated equally.

Being an ex-athlete, I felt immediately comfortable and at home with all aspects of the gym upon walking in. Not only was I greeted by a down to earth, non-pretentious staff, but I was also introduced to the owner of Trophy Fitness, Kelley Gray. My attention was immediately theirs and after my tour, I was very happy with the facility. I prefer an environment where the objective of everyone who walks into the door is to get an exceptional workout- to sweat, work out as hard as they can and improve their health and bodies. What I DID NOT find there were females wearing full faces of makeup, dressing up to impress & men scouting for women- the typical environment that sends people like me running in the opposite direction.

The trainers, regardless if you are taking one-on-one sessions or are involved in group classes, are the CREAM of the CROP! I tell you this with full honestly. Whether you are taking a spin class or an Adrenaline Boot Camp with Sharif, a class with Joe or a small or large group session with any of the other trainers, you will be getting the same attention and the same intensity as you would a personal session. Although my intention is to move towards personal sessions so that my workouts push me harder and are personalized for my particular goals, I refuse to go anywhere else but Trophy. Their website is accurate 100% of the time and the schedules are easy to print out to take with you anywhere and the sign up process is literally one click. You can even link it to yourFacebook!

Not only is the equipment the best, you have every single resource in the gym accessible to you that will enable you to do any exercise that you want to. For me, it's free weights, Hammersmith machines and strength conditioning equipment but all the machines are there for your use for any type of workout. You will automatically feel like family and at home.

I recently underwent knee surgery and Mark, one of the trainers who also plays professional soccer and is also has numerous corrective exercise certifications, guided me through my visits by paying close attention to me without me even knowing! He offered me advice at the end of my workouts or even while I was doing a set so that I would not injure myself further. He gave me alternatives to some of the exercises I was doing that he noticed I had a hard time finishing or could not finish at all.

Finally, I have never heard of any other gym where the owner of the facility is available his/her members at any time. Kelley has always been responsive and helpful in all my situations whether it's a question about nutritional supplements, accommodations for guests or anything else. Also, he made sure to check on me when I was out of surgery to see if there was anything that he or the gym could do for me while recovering. That is truly amazing.

Do yourself a favor and visit one of their locations. Try to visit the Uptown one if you have the chance since Kelley spends most of him time there but any of the locations will give you the same amazing treatment and results. They have one in Uptown (my favorite!), one in Addison (I use this one more this year due to my location for work temporarily), Mockingbird Station (next to Pure Spa- you can use the wet facilities and the locker room at the spa since you are a Trophy member at no charge) and Elevation in the Pacific Office Center.

Trust me. It is worth it!

Awesome Gym, incredible staff. Great Lockerooms recently remodeled...sauna is fantastic. They have all of the cardio and modern ammenties to get great new age workouts without all of the worthless meathead equipment. Lots of knowlegeable personal trainers always around that dont mind answering questions and not trying to sell you if thats not what your looking for. The manager Steve is always on the floor making sure guets experience at his facilities are in line with his expectations. Overall fantastic small feel, but not small gym that always super clean and with a welcoming helpful staff.

The moment I walked into trophy fitness club I immedietely felt at home. The great customer service I recieved was uncomprimised. It's a super clean faciltiy. I never come across a peice of workout equipment with sweat from the previous members use. It's a great atmosphere without the feeling of intimidation. I'm always greeted with a positive attitude the second I walk in. By far the BEST fitness club I've ever belonged to!
