Three days drop in while we were visiting = three days of awesome workout. Owner/head trainer Jared creates workout programs that deliver a great experience and then tailors the program to your needs. If I lived here I’d come every day. Awesome!!!

As a veteran, I also appreciate how veteran-friendly this gym is. They’ve gone the extra mile by starting their own nonprofit, S1S (Save1Soldier), which shows they’re not just supportive in words — they’re doing real work in the community 🇺🇸

Participating in BYB classes and weekly personal training (weightlifting and conditioning) has significantly lessened my chronic back and neck pain and made me so much stronger since joining about one year ago. I am so grateful that I made the decision to get stronger so I can be more functional in my life and in my job without daily pain and the low quality of life that comes with it (insomnia, depression, resting B face, etc). I even had to buy some new pants for my new glutes 🍑(individual results may vary).

This is a SAFE place for anyone to train in any stage of life! 30-something life-long “skinny girl” who has never been able to do a pull up (asking for a friend)? 75 years old? Postpartum? Established athlete looking to up your game? Look no further. The workout programming is both challenging and evidence-based for what works (not just “bro science”) and is always modifiable to fit anyone’s needs and abilities.

The gym equipment is very high quality (i.e. Concept 2 rowers, Rogue Echo bikes, Eleiko rotating dumbbells, etc). The recovery suite alone is worth a membership with the cold plunge and infared sauna (with red light therapy too!). They even have a PEMF table—if you know, you know. Coaches are amazing—kind hearts with a huge wealth of knowledge and the integrity everyone should expect when it comes to your body, mind and safety. Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself. Happy New Year!! Now go crush some goals. 💪🏻

Not a better GYM in town. Or in Austin for that matter. This gym is great, old school and new school. The owner Jared is top of his game who provides a great atmosphere, challenging workouts to build your better, and is just an all around awesome guy.

Whenever I travel, I love to drop in at gyms to take their class. I’ve been to a lot of gyms in my lifetime. And have done a lot of drop in classes. Some may say that this is my biggest expense while I’m on vacation.

I say this because out of all the gyms I have visited, byb is the one gym that I can say truly has my heart.

The facility is top notch. You can see just how much pride they take in keeping their equipment in perfect working condition. There is a lot of toys you can play with. From kettlebells to strongman and everything in between, there is something for any kind of strength enthusiast.

The classes are awesome. Each session has thoughtfully laid out and is made for every fitness level. You will never feel lost when in class and I found each workout to be just the right amount of challenging for me. My favorite classes are the strength classes which focuses on Olympic weightlifting.

What truly sets byb apart from all the other gyms I have been to is its community. I know that may sound cliche to say, but to me, I find the true test of a gyms impact lies within its community. Cause workouts and facilities can always provide a great workout, but when you have a great gym culture, it turns into an experience that you’ll never forget

In my first class there, the owner was on vacation, but I immediately felt welcomed by coach Courtney and everyone in the class.

I’ve never felt such a warm welcome before at a gym like I did at byb. Not only did they treat me as one of their own, but they took the time to get to know me, which I truly appreciated. What started as just doing a drop in turned into me purchasing a week pass to train there. That’s saying a lot because I’ll usually hop from gym to gym and check out a bunch of classes, but after that first session, I did not want to go anywhere else .

I know this is a long review, but it’s only because if I truly love a place, I’m going to let you know how much I love it. And going to byb has been a huge highlight of my trip to Texas. I’m dead serious when I say that if I ever move to Texas, it’ll be so I can train at byb fitness on a regular basis

Well thought out and intentional workouts, with a PLAN. I am usually very hesitant about joining new gyms, as the training schedule can be all over the place. As I reflect, on the past 3 years at BYB here, I can't recall any injuries or having to take time to rest like I had all the years previously. Great gym, atmosphere, and culture. I am relatively a new member, started back in August ‘23. I’ve gotten to know many members and I have to say I have never felt so welcomed in a gym!
Hindsight of the past few months, I see joining BYB has played a part in some healthy physical and emotional changes for me. The first being, letting go of preconceived ideas of how my body should look. I come from a CrossFit background, which can be super fun, however I began to place unrealistic demands on my body.
So, the cool thing is I have seriously let that image of myself go! Speaking of timing, it goes hand in hand with me learning how to embrace the natural aging process.
I wish I could adequately explain how freeing the past several months have been.
Which brings me to a major share…
This past Monday, I had explanted breast implants that I’ve had for 17 years. Another awesome step for me!
I tried explanting 2 years ago, but my vanity stood in the way.
Ya’ll, the mere fact I am showing up with my chest ace-bandaged flat, post surgery, is testimony to the changes in my heart and mind!
I couldn’t finish this without saying Im on a walk with Christ. Absolutely none of the restorative work in me would happen without Him.

I started going to BYB at the beginning of 2023 and have already learned so much. Coach Jared has helped me immensely with my nutrition as well as my conditioning work. Both him and Coach Chris helped me through some old injuries I've had for years. All the coaches are very good at breaking down movements for people at all fitness levels. Overall it's a great place to work out and improve yourself mentally and physically!

Hands down best place to work out at in Georgetown. You will receive a hands on approach by the coaches here, applied in a manner that will enhance strength, endurance, and agility. Additionally, if you are at all worried about the intimidating factor that comes with some "CrossFit" style gyms, you need not worry: this gym is extremely family friendly. If you are a service member or first responder (or former or aspiring for that matter) I highly recommend this gym: you are not going to find a better functional fitness gym to work out at.

Absolutely love this place. It's easy to see why they have 100% 5-star reviews. Coaches are incredibly cool and welcoming.

The community is so nice and very diverse. There's always someone to push you and someone being pushed by you.

I love that they have so many options. Lots of crossfit style classes, strongman, ladies only....plus open gym, a sauna, compression equipment, etc. I've definitely found my place here.

Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get in shape!

I can’t say enough about Jared and his team at BYB. If you’re looking for a workout experience that simply produces results while you have a great time doing so - this is it! The workouts cater to all ability and fitness levels and the camaraderie of the group setting is first rate. At first I was very scared, not committed and felt not so confident in myself to start at BYB Fitness. From day one everyone I met was very encouraging and motivated.
