Me and my family have been doing karate at 3T for about 8 years and it has brought us together, made us better people and thought us how to defend our selves in REAL LIFE situations.
Karate has personally made me in great shape, improved my confidence, and most of all taught me perseverance and hard work.

I can echo the other reviews in that this is a great place for kids to grow physically and mentally. It’s also great for adults. About two years ago, I enrolled while suffering from PTSD brought on by assault. My main goal was to shift away from a victim mindset and regain the feeling of control over my body. Through the instruction of the incredible staff, I was able to break free from those cycles while gaining valuable new skills. My self-confidence has grown, creating a ripple effect that has improved other aspects of my life. Participating in the classes has not only kept me active but also motivated me to maintain healthy habits outside of the dojo. What I love about this place is how all the instructors are invested in and care about the individual kids in their programs. Whether they are stopping to give extra instruction or mailing a handwritten card on a kids birthday or dressing up in silly things as a motivator, the instructors consistently try to be a positive influence on the kids in addition to teaching them karate. Little one is now shadowing a high brown belt that's getting ready for her black belt test. She has stuck with it and enjoyed every minute of it inching closer and closer to that black belt. If she sticks with it she should have her own black belt by her 11th bday. Pretty cool. The team at 3T has done a great job teaching and prioritizing discipline, loyalty and courage. Where do I begin?! I can't say enough about this studio and more importantly, their Senseis! We have been with 3T for a little over a year and I couldn't be happier. Outstanding place. My son earned his Black Belt over 4.5 years (and is now continuing Black Belt studies) and during our time here it has always been a supportive and learning environment versus high pressure that so many studios have. It is not a 'belt Factory' where they are trying to constantly upsell you and charge you for everything. They are truly gifted in martial arts and work on developing the whole person. Perfect for any age from kindergarten to adult.

Joined in March with a very demanding work schedule. Sensai Brendel has been extremely accommodating with my work schedule rotations. The availability of an adult class in the evening makes it even more convenient. Classes are long enough to get in a quick workout too. The skill and level of teaching they all provide deserves more than 5 stars! Making the decision at 35 to pursue something fun, educational and not so much physically demanding but enough to feel it the next day was made so much easier with help of Sensai B2 and Sensai Ingrid.

We originally joined 3T in 2010 after my son researched multiple disciplines and studios in the area. He was on a mission to learn martial arts. We settled on 3T because Eric took his time to engage him and capture his interest. I was impressed that at an initial visit, rather than talking to me, the focus was my son who was hungry for this practice. I knew, before we left, that we had found our karate home. I saw this as an opportunity for my daughter to learn self defense as well. So, the 3 of us joined and practiced together. We experienced much more than learning techniques. We learned that we were stronger, not just physically, but mentally than we thought we were; we pushed ourselves to our utter limit. Jackson thrived and within 5 years of very hard work and dedication earned his blackbelt. Gabriella realized how powerful her kicks were and utilized that to reinforce her self defense techniques. She was 2 belts away from black before she left for college. I continued practicing gaining strength, confidence, knowledge; reminding myself that no matter how hard I fell, I could get back up and keep going. It took me 7 years to earn my Black Belt. It was the most physically and mentally challenging thing I have ever experienced, but so very gratifying. I fell a number of times. I wanted to quit a number of times. But, I didn't . Jackson fell, but he got back up. Quitting is not in our vocabulary and was not an option. 3T Karate reinforced that in us and we carry it in our every day lives. I believe that our relationship as mother and children grew stronger as well because we supported each other through every aspect of our training. I would do it all over again to spend that very intense, yet special time, with them.
Kyoshis Pitassi Sensei Brendel, and Sensei Gaugler, along with their team dedicated themselves to our success. The team was readily available and always enthusiastic to practice or reteach anything we asked of them. Their dedication to the students is remarkable. As students, we were held responsible as well. I believe that this was a great model for teaching responsibility for self and responsibility to our "team". As a team, we rose and fell together. We learned so much more than maneuvers. We walked away with stronger leadership skills, a stronger sense of community, discipline, courage, loyalty, respect for speech and understanding of honor.
Many thanks to the 3T team for their continued dedication to teaching martial arts, but, more importantly, for producing responsible individuals who can see beyond themselves.
I know that we are bound because it is more than just a dojo. It's a community and I would do it all over again.

Excellent Karate Studio! My son (soon to be 6 years old) has been a member for the last year and we could not be happier. The facility is clean and the instructors CARE about the kiddos and make it a fun and awesome learning experience for them. They work on character development along with karate training to promote the wellbeing of the whole child. My son is stronger, more focused and well mannered at home and in the classroom largely because of his involvement with 3T Karate. With the Covid pandemic they have remained energized and creative. My family and I have been training here for 5 years. Getting my black belt was the most rewarding experience I’ve had in my life!
As a family, this has been a great bonding experience that really brought us together while teaching my younger siblings (sister and brother) discipline and life skills that have helped them become competent and amazing young adults.
Compared to other teens their age, I can confidently say they are much more equipped in character strength due to what they’ve learned at 3T. They’ve been training since they were in Elementary school and I know this program has helped them with peer pressure, anti bullying and confidence.
My dad has gotten to grow closer to his kids by training with us and the programs have helped him get into better shape as well as get tools to work with his kids’ behavior at home (and yes that includes me too 😅)
In the time I’ve been teaching, I’ve seen many families change for the better. As an instructor, I’ve gotten to work with many students and families that needed guidance— whether for discipline, attitude, bullying, etc...— and I am very proud of how we’ve helped them grow and learn by guiding them in the right direction.
Personally, my training has helped me feel much more confident in my safety and I’ve noticed I’ve grown into a much more competent adult than most of my peers. In college I had classes where professors would compliment me on my character, attitude and public speaking skills and I wouldn’t have grown into who I am today without 3T. I really can’t say enough of what I’ve gotten from this program.
