I live on the west side so I make the trip over for their amenities. I’m constantly met with their system being down. No red light therapy, or message chairs. Think there needs to be some basic troubleshooting done on a manager level instead of waiting for IT to fix these issues. Will most likely be canceling membership soon. Just not worth the trip these days.

Gym starts off bad in the front. People at the front desk don’t look like they want to work or be bothered always seem to have a bad attitude. The men’s restroom is constantly dirty the floors are always wet with water from toilets the toilet seats are dirty. Clips are missing from the machines constantly. Saunas are not being taken care of. Some days it’s hot how it’s supposed to be and some days it’s not it’s honestly a hit or miss. Doors are left cracked open allowing sauna to not be hot when going into. Bathrooms sometimes go 2-3 days before being swept and mopped. Chuze is overall just a mid gym the same music is played everyday. Planet fitness is low key better. Even for the price. Chuze is upping their costs to different things in the gym and the service is just not good. Very disappointed whoever is in charge of this location. It starts with the staff. And it’s the same rude females to be specific.

I visited this gym a couple of weeks ago and got a month pass. I would say this is the best gym in El Paso. I've tried several gyms in El Paso including Crunch Fitness and Gold's gym (now closed) but I have to say that Chuze staff really made the difference. Me and my sister met the assistant general manager Edward and others who went above and beyond to get us started. Edward always remembered us when we came in and we always saw staff cleaning and keeping the gym looking great.

The space is HUGE and there's everything you need to get any workout in. There's also an amazing spa area for recovery which was my favorite. There's also a literal theater cardio room where you can watch a movie while on cardio equipment lol. I would highly recommend if you're in the area. You'll love it.

The gym has improved a lot but it still needs A LOT of work. Specially with staff.
They started a new class in the morning at 515 in the lift lab. Which I already think you shouldn't have private classes here if other members can't use the area which they are paying extra for. We pay extra to be able to use this for more privacy because this gym is full of creeps. the trainer for this class, Sandra went up to my partner saying we had 5 more minutes when it was only 5am. I was not able to hear her through my earphones so my partner signaled me that we had 5 minutes. When I looked at the clock I told him the class didnt start till 515. The trainer then comes back to him and tells him that the sign says we need to be gone 15 minutes prior to the class starting and that it says on the sign. NOWHERE on the sign it says that. Not to mention other trainers have asked us to leave at the beginning of class and never mentioned the 15 minutes. We don't leave the room unorganized and we clean after ourselves so its not like she had to do that after we left. I also don't appreciate being lied to because what grown mature adult lies.
This was very unprofessional and its not the first time a staff member has behaved unprofessionally at this gym.

Good gym. When it’s not super packed. And equipment is either missing clips in cable machine area. Treadmills are always messing up. The maintenance staff has no idea what they are doing. I told them the issue and they kept saying all it needed was a restart. Got on same treadmill next day same issue. Gym goers are terrible with putting weights back reracking weights. And the biggest one with the gym goers they do not wipe down anything after using what they just used.

So the gym has made progress since my review a month ago. Just customers mainly older ones NEED TO BE REMINDED when they check in to clean equipment after using. Washing their hands after using the bathroom. And return the equipment where it goes as well as re racking weights.

There is nothing wrong with the employees, so far it is wonderful BUT the customers don't know anything about gym culture. They hoard all the dumbells, use 2 machines at the time, etc. It's been like that since I joined more than 2 years ago, and there's no signs of changing that. I've been in more than 10 gyms, and I have never experienced anything like this. I'm disabled so this is a huge issue for me. Also, I got the cheapest membership, and all of a sudden, they started me charging 70% more every month

The gym itself is very good and you guys have great managers along with coaches/teachers. On the other side your employee choosing is not the best. Yesterday I encountered an issue with two of the employees while working out. Besides the fact that you guys already offer them free memberships they really do seem to take advantage of that. While using one of the cable machines in the lift lab your employee Amber decides to take it into her own hand and snatch the machine while i was still using it.Proir to this she had already been talking about me for what ever reason, but i choose to ignore. Obviously with the event that happened i got mad and decided to tell her something in which she proceeded to be rude along sided with your other employee Viviana. It just bothers me how they feel so privileged to take as they please totally ignoring whether the machine is being used by someone or not. Not just that but while they’re working your employees don’t even have the decency to greet anyone good morning or anything. It just impresses me how such a big company can have such poor choice in employees. As i noticed by other reviews im not the only one who has issues with the poor choice in employees. The only reason i would even decided to stay at this gym is because you have very good classes with very good teachers. Otherwise in extremely disappointed.

It's a really nice gym. Unfortunately, they have two big problems: 1. People don't put their weights back where they belong, so all the dumbbells are everywhere and it's hard to find them. Also, the weight plates are difficult to organize because they have a bunch of different brands.

Moved over from Crunch to Chuze, but when I went in, the woman helping up front was no help. I wanted to get their special I was emailed about and she was making me get the most expensive plan for the special to be applied although that’s not what the advertisement says. I politely said, thank you and walked away and just hopped online to receive the promotion with the plan of my choosing. Maybe she was ignorant to the promotion, but she really did not care to check for me which I did not appreciate. The variety of equipment offered is the only reason I continued to sign up, but I know to expect less than helpful service in the future.

There’s always an issue 😫 booking my kids for the daycare at the gym is always impossible. First I wld be able to go and check then in when I showed up. Suddenly that wasn’t allowed & no email notice was sent. At first the only way to check in was scanning the QR code on the door or I was told to call. But it must be done in advance no more check ins last minute. So I call in advance, because that’s what they told me , but the girl gives me attitude that I’m supposed to do it online, I’m like okay where do I go? She said scan the QR code. I said I don’t have the QR code where can I go online? She doesn’t know they only way was the QR link on the daycare door lol but obviously I’m not there to scan. She puts me on hold for 15 min and then hangs up. I get there & after some time I’m finally able to book them. I also mentioned that when I called I was just placed on hold & the person hung up. The person responded “oh we’re just busy”. In my head I’m like u cld have told me to just come in for help instead of having me on hold & rudely hang up 🥲 but Okay great next time I’m aware of the link online, but now that site always has issues I can’t book & they can’t help me over the phone & this needs to be done in advance NOT last minute in person. It’s stressful every time & they always have problems w internet or the site idk. The gym was closed for weeks at some point but still charges regular price. After another visit my kid wanted a snack & mind u ppl are exhausted from the gym & I have to carry 2 kids and to keep them calm I always buy them snacks on the way out. Well again after having issues not being able to check them in that day I also can’t purchase anything because their computers don’t work, AGAIN. So I ask the girl if I can just give her my gym card so she can charge the card on file for a bag of chips when they system is back up. She is thinking just hesitating for a while seeing my toddler cry and just says no. I’m like pls cus I’m tired and I’m just desperate to leave with them happy and she doubles down and says no. So I have to take the chips away from my 2 yr old and carry my two kids screaming after working out thanks to the mess of issues this gym always has. Sometimes there’s nice workers & sometimes there isn’t it just depends on who’s working that day & unfortunately most times there’s issues with their sites & everything is down so you can’t buy any drinks or smoothies. The AC never works or they’re keeping it off it’s way too hot in the gym at all times There are not enough, wipe down stations in close proximity to most of the equipment. I always have to go and look for one I can only imagine how many people don’t wipe their equipment down because they can’t find a wipe down station and I guess the gym decided to remove the heavy bags and the curl machines which really pisses me off, considering the price that I’m paying to use that equipment this top management don’t know how to run a gym seems to me there just try to cut back on things we pay to use and why can’t they stay open till 10pm or 9:00pm on the weekend and the workout equipment is unorganized and what happened to the hot tub?!

I promptly reported the incident to the attendant and contacted the police to file a formal report. Unfortunately, another individual with a locker adjacent to mine also fell victim to the same crime. When we inquired about reviewing security footage, we were informed that no cameras are installed in the locker room. They said they would close for ONE week for air conditioning updates, and it's already the THIRD week with no update. The least they could do is send an email updating when they expect to open again or why they're taking so long to reopen. They also said we'd see a refund for the month because of the closure, and I still got billed for it this month. This closure with no update just makes me feel like they're never going to reopen and just keep everyone's money. And like the others have said as well, the gym is put together by leftover machines and weights from EP fitness that squeak when you use them or are even missing pins. If they were going to renovate the gym, they should've gotten new equipment as well.

The fact that this gym that I just joined like 2 months ago, has been closed for more than 2 weeks, it was supposed to take just 1 week and every time they extended more. And when you call they just tell you to go to other gym, don’t they know I know that, but the one closes to Lee Trevino is Montwood and that gym is in really bad conditions. Also I prefer Lee Trevino because their place for kids is better. I recently joined and I’ve had a great experience so far! I am new to having a gym routine and the amenities like the lift lab, sauna room, and the movie theater make it fun to go to the gym! I love it. They also have a smoothie bar and it’s convenient and reasonably priced. Only downside I’ve noticed is that the AC should be turned a little higher in the lift lab and main area.

This gym feels like it was put together by someone who has never worked out. All of the free weights are leftovers from the old EP fitness. Their only platforms are behind a paywall. Restrooms closed abruptly a week after their grand opening. They'll email you about dumb things like rewards, but not important stuff like not being able to shower before work. You can also tell the remodeling contract went to the lowest bidder.

Good afternoon, today I canceled my membership for years as a client, which is not fair for people like us who are comfortable in a place that we see as our own home, that is how we consider this place, my decision was made due to the poor management by the managers and the people at the entrance providing bad service. They have to see why they are losing so many customers, this is already a red flag. Thanks in advance for your attention

This place is under renovation and frankly it is appalling that they even promote membership in the current state they are in. I have no doubt that this will be a high value proposition once the place is done, but my trial membership was a complete waste.

Worst Gym in El Paso. Machines do not have pins… Need a Pin leave collateral…. before you join ask about the “pin” rule or take a look for yourself

This gym sucks.
There over 20 ellipticals and one 5 are working the others sit collecting dust in the theater room which no one uses. They are supposedly making the gym new but still have equipment from 30 years ago. All they have done is paint and some new floor. All the pins on the cable machine are always gone, someone literally steals the pins, so no one can use them. The WiFi doesn’t work. The bathrooms have been portable outdoor restrooms for almost a year. No where to change. This gym is a joke. You’re better of at a planet or the ymca

Even with all the construction going on, the gym is great. One of the issues I have is the no hot water, trying to shower with cold water early in the morning is really bad.

Second, it seems like there is no longer a maintenance team repairing damaged equipment. Cables and other equipment seem to stay unfix for much longer time, and that to includes the missing equipment pins.

Well overall the gym is good. As for the daycare not so much. I don't like the fact that I need to make a dn reservation It's pain amd inconvenience. Some times with traffic it's hard to get there. 0luse sometimes I'm there more than an hour and it's just doesn't work for me. The only reason I stayed at Ep fitness was because of the daycare but this whole reservation bull is making look for another gym.

This place is getting completely remodeled except the equipment. There is rows and rows of treadmills that don’t work!! Why would you remodel a gym and leave all the equipment that does not work. It does not make sense.

The only redeeming quality is the staff, the staff is great. However, only half of the gym is available the other half is under construction. There is only hot water half the time in the bathroom. The equipment is old like some of it is not even good for second-hand use anymore, a lot of it is quite janky. Didn't like the environment, felt like I was working out in a gym at Chernobyl or something. Wouldn't recommend Chuze to anyone.

Staff or atleast the ones in the front in the morning are very un polite. They always have the daycare lady by herself with an over capacity or kids. They say reservations are included now but their was way to many baby’s for just one lady to take care of. The girls in the front don’t pay her no attention.

No one is here to open the gym. It's already 0450 and gym is supposed to be open at 0430. Lee Trevino location. Finally opened at 5am.

Se entiende que están remodelando y eso es buen para todos los malo es que ay personas que solo van a platicar a sentarse sin hacer nada o a maltratar los aparatos porque se creen muy rudos y dejan caer los aparatos yo lo e visto y eso perjudica a los demás porque se descomponen. Yo estoy operada de un hombro así que solo puedo hacer ejercicio bde bicicleta sentada y aparatos sentada y cuando siguen igual descompuestos y ya lo puse de queja y no hacen nada.

No voy a estar pagando para no poder hacer nada y la gente no se quita.

I always experience in the gym music that’s not inspirational it’s always rap or Spanish music I go to workout leave upset. I can deal with the construction dirty bathrooms, no hot water in the showers but the music is awful at times distracting and sometimes just full of cuss words. Not very fun going there.

More than 3 weeks without hot water in the showers because there is no gas, it is already bad that the showers are outside, it is even worse that there is no hot water due to lack of gas. Terrible service because no one does anything. This problem was told to the morning managers but they do nothing

Do NOT join this gym. I cancelled my membership September 27th, received confirmation. At the end of November I was charged MULTIPLE times to the point I’m owed an $108 refund. It was confirmed by an unknown manager that I am in fact owed a refund but it still hasn’t happened. When I called in and spoke with an employee named “Lilly” she advised I call back and speak with a manager about the issue but refused to provide the name of said manager as she isn’t authorized to provide the name of the person I need to ask for. BIG RED FLAG. DO NOT JOIN HERE.
