This applies to both Prosper Club Pilates and McKinney Club Pilates. I really tried to like Pilates but it's hard to get into a class unless you book weeks in advance. Then if something out of your control happens within 12 hours of your class, you are charged. My husband and I paid approximately $500 per month for the membership. We never received the discounts promised at sign up and were charged anytime we had to cancel 10 hours before the class started (HAS TO BE 12 OR MORE). It's unrealistic and only benefits Club Pilates. Anytime I had any free time for a class, there wasn't one available. After 70 classes, I was never approached about moving the next level. On my own, I went from 1 to 1.5. You are very much on your own regarding your advancement. As far as the equipment and facility, they are both adequate. Another irritating issue that finally pushed me to cancel was the bad attitudes many of the teachers had. Each one uses different terminology and if you make a wrong move they make snarky comments. One instructor angrily grabbed my foot to move it while gritting their teeth. I have been going to exercise classes my entire life. I can follow instructions when given clearly. Would not recommend.

I, like others have been very frustrated with the "waitlist" experience. I was not introduced to the pilates experience adequately. I downloaded the app and had to figure out the system on my own. I agreed to a 3 month trial, injured my knee bursa and was told a form would be emailed to me, to be signed by my ortho doc so I could heal, resume classes and continue my membership at the current rate, rather than the expected cost increased rate. I did not receive the promised email. After weeks of being waitlisted, I received a text saying my 4th month charge was due. I had called on more than one occasion to get clarification as to my status because I was of the opinion that I did not receive what I should have received for the 3 month trial that I had paid for. Again, I received notice (voicemail) to inform me that my 4th month payment was past due. I attempted to call but was unable to reach a human. Eventually I did speak to a Prosper representative who stated that I would receive a call from another individual before the week was out.I never received that promised phone call. Summary: Inadequate communication and the waitlisting system does not work for me. The instructors are GREAT. In the 2 and 1/2 month that I participated, I never had a bad instructor. They were knowledgable, helpful when needed and encouraging. I have no beef with the instructor. Flexibility is must to avoid being waitlisted. Management needs to communicate better and be honest and realistic to potential members as to what they actually are offering.

I really tried to give this place a fair chance, but the experience has been nothing but frustrating. The waitlist system is completely flawed—you don’t get notified when a spot opens up, so you’re expected to keep checking the app like it’s your full-time job. Today, I arrived just five minutes past the cutoff after rushing through traffic, and was still turned away. They said I’d be credited, but that never happened.
The truth is, unless you book way in advance, it’s nearly impossible to get into a class. If you get off the waitlist at the last minute and can’t make it, you’re penalized. It’s incredibly inconvenient and unpredictable. You basically have to put your life on hold.

Run! Do not sign up here. Classes are difficult to get into unless you book way in advance. If you do waitlist, make sure you put your life on hold so when they accept you in the middle of the night while you're sleeping, you make sure you go so you don't have to cancel and be charged. The instructor's are mediocre at best, do yourself a favor and go to the other studio in Prosper where they know what they are doing. Oh and make sure if you have questions you're ready to wait for answers. Apparently the staff has no idea how to answer anything, you have to wait days to hear from the owners. If you sign their contract, you can't even change your plan for the first 90 days. I get not canceling but save yourself the headache when you find out how terrible the classes/instructors are and just don't.

This is for the communication that need to happen for someone who has never been to Pilates. Say it upright that for intro class even if you are TWO MINUTES late, you won’t be allowed. I received atleast 10 messages regarding liability form and socks and none of the person cared to mention that. Drove 20 mins for a 7:30 class, I reached at 7:32!!
As much as I understand the rules, I would like to know it in advance specially when you are telling all other things in every text! I would have rescheduled instead of rushing.
I am not coming to at least this center just because it felt like no one cared and valued.

Club Pilates has been an incredible experience for me . I was always a runner but at 60 , I needed more strength , balance and flexibility. In one year of 2 classes a week, I’ve added muscle and my waist has never been trimmer. Special shout out to Whitney - her Sunday cardio sculpt is tough but fun and such an amazing work out . Marina is an amazing instructor as well and will always push you just a little further than you thought possible .

Being a 6.1 and 300 Lbs guy, I never thought Pilates was for me, I have always related the word Pilates with exercise for ladies but I was wrong.
For the last 2 months I have been exercising parts of my body that didn’t know ever existed, after I finished every class I tell my self “don’t go back!!” but this thing is addictive in a good way, big reason for me wanting to go back is the instructors, all of them very professional and very well trained and the good part is that if you complain they don’t care hahahahahaha!!!! Honestly very happy with Club Pilates and their crew including receptionists.
Facilities are top notch and all the exercise equipment in very good shape and well maintained.
If you are looking for a good work out but not only that, one that will make you stronger on key muscles for the present and specially when you get old, Pilates is the right option and with Club Pilates team you will be in the right hands.

After two hip surgeries, I struggled to find a mode of exercise that allowed me to feel like I was still pushing myself safely. I started Club Pilates and have found that the variety of classes is perfect for me. I can take the appropriate class for how my body is feeling each day. I highly recommend Club Pilates and love the instructors!

I absolutely love Club Pilates in Prosper! It's not only convenient, but it also brightens my day every time I go. I've been a member for a few years now, and the instructors are always friendly and helpful. I appreciate the different personalities and teaching styles of each instructor, as it keeps the classes interesting and engaging. The variety of classes provides flexible options, and levels according to your readiness. Not to mention, the benefits of Pilates are incredible if you put in the effort, and do it correctly as instructed. The front desk staff is always welcoming and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Club Pilates in Prosper to anyone looking to improve their fitness and overall well-being.

The Club Pilates in Prosper is fantastic. The club manager takes the time Get to know the clients. She asks for feedback regarding classes, and she takes our opinion into consideration when making the class schedules. The instructors are amazing, and give me such a great workout! I have nothing but great things to say about Club Pilates in Prosper!!

I was a member for 3 months and the only instructor that I like was Marine! She’s great. Cost vs benefit nah… I currently work 8 hours a day and their schedules are not flexible for me. If you can not go they still charge you for the class and you miss the credit. Thanks!

When I attended a Club Pilates intro class 9 months ago I had been dealing with debilitating pain from chronic SI tendinitis, a dislocated vertebra, and multiple bulging &/or ruptured discs for 9 months and was barely able to lower myself onto the reformer. The instructor and location manager Amy were very kind and suggested that I may want to start with private training sessions to see how it went until I decided I was ready to keep up with a regular class. Enter Donna Silver. Everybody needs a Donna in their life; she was completely nonjudgmental and encouraging. Donna made it easy to share what made my pain worse and when I was ready to push harder. After about 2 months of twice weekly 1-on-1 sessions I decided to purchase a membership and move into regular classes. Now I attend 4 classes / week and have very little pain or discomfort. I can’t recommend Club Pilates enough and love my classes with Melissa, Dessria, Corey and Donna.

Tried to cancel my membership and was convinced to put it on hold for $15 a month. Then decided to cancel until the spring and when I canceled, they charged me $89 instead of $15. Very deceptive. I would have been better off paying for individual classes. I won't come back here which is a shame because the instructors are really good.

I am so glad I finally got out of my comfort zone and gave Pilates a try! I absolutely love coming here and have tried out a few different locations, but always come back to this one! I highly suggest taking Corry, Michael and Amanda's classes, but all of the instructors are great. One of the only workout classes I actually feel accomplished taking and have seen great results!!

The intro class introduced what pilates was to give you an idea on how the equipment feels. It's good to have an idea on what to expect before joining classes, but it's different from the actual class because they're trying to show you a few different things to just try out. If you don't really know what to do the instructor would show you upon request or if she's near you, she will correct you so you're doing it properly.
Their prices vary depending on how many classes you'd like to take in a month. I think they're reasonable for those who want to go less and for those who want to go more often, you pay a little more.
They do require grip socks (which I think is important because of all that you do with the workout equipment). You can get grip socks on Amazon or Walmart for lesser price. The ones they sell are priced a little more (between $16-$19 per pair depending on style/design), but they're very comfortable and quality is great! I personally like the ones I bought from them because the fit is better for me and it feels thicker than the ones you get at the store.
My daughter and I signed up and have tried different instructors. It's great to experience the different instructors and how they teach. So far they've all been very helpful, friendly and considerate of my health conditions. We are still pretty new to pilates and we can't wait to try the higher levels. I believe they have level 1, 1.5 and 2.
The only downside would be the class cancelation time period for me, but it's understandable since many would like to get in a class and need time to schedule.

Tried a free intro class and it was "ok". The location is in a Plaza. The space is extremly clean and fair sized. The equipment is new and interior design in modern. I guess "grip" socks are required and you have to purchase it from them in order to begin so I had to spend $17 on socks. Yes $17 for SOCKS?! They should have $4 socks available so consumers won't be surprised when they get here. I did recieve an email saying to wear grip socks but some will be available for purchase in store but when they called me to confirm appointment the older lady said just "socks". You do need to sign a waiver form prior f.y.i. Hate how prices are discrete but it's "ok" priced, approximately expect to pay $200/month. I've never done pilates so I expected an INTRO class to be for beginners but the instructor kept using terms that were unfamiliar and onky known if you're experienced, the trial class was rushed as I felt like I was doing every exercise wrong. They don't teach you in this intro class, you're left looking up at a ceiling while some lady sounding with echos says pilates terminology fast while you're stuck and confused what "Barbie heels" means as you can't really see others or instructor. Instructor kept forgetting and was a bit too laid back for my liking, for $200/month I expected someone who's prept, awake and focused. I do encourage others to at least try but I did not feel comfortable or had fun at this location.
