The environment is awesome I wish I could give it 5 stars but the staff is some of the worst, the billing even worse. Be cautious when canceling your membership, record every interaction with attempting to close other wise they’ll rack your bill up and defer to a collections agency. I’ve made every attempt to cancel an account since I moved away and have been obstructed every step of the way.

I’ve been a member of club4 flower mound for since December 2024. I loved this gym. Fantastic personal trainer, Jenna.

However, after I injured my back in March 2025, I could not work much less workout. I had a financial hardship which I explained to Jenna and would need to pause my membership and PT. she helpfully directed me how to pause my membership and PT. Great.

However, I got a response from the parent company that neither could be paused unless I cleared my balances of both. I explained this was impossible due to the financial hardship. PT is very expensive, worth it but expensive. The gym membership is very well priced.

So while I could not clear the PT balance, I could pay my membership dues. That got cleared. However, they just continued to charge me for months.

I called the ABC fitness company billing department. I was told only the GM, Sean or the AGM, who I was not aware of a name, could help me. I would have to go in person.

I drove from Corinth to Flower Mound and asked to speak with the manager. I was directed to the AGM, Skyla. She said she could not help me, but Sean couldn’t either. My only option was to pay the full balance which I was disputing. She would not contact Sean nor tell me when I could speak with him.

I reiterated that I am respectfully trying to resolve, pay my membershi as I am able to move forward. However, my issue was being charged during a documented time I had asked to be paused, that the only action item for me was to pay my overdue balance as of Narch and it would be paused. Charging me a monthly membership during a documented period where I was in a financial hardship was not going to be the only answer. Yet she asserted she was unwilling to document anything, or help in any way and that she was authorized to tell me Sean would not help but she wasn’t authorized to do anything else. Very “first time in management, customer is always wrong” approach delivered very condescendingly.

Will tell literally everyone I know and the dozens and dozens of referrals of his I was condescended to by a self important and rude young lady when I stated I was looking for a fair solution.

Extremely unprofessional, no customer focused empathy and done in public in front of other team members and customers. Will post on my entire set of social network accounts to make sure folks know that it is a great club until you have a life issue, then your patronage is meaningless and you won’t be spoken with in dignity. Sure feel like an apology would be fitting but I doubt I’ll get that.

I was met by a very unprofessional staff during my visit, which set a bad tone right away. On top of that, the gym is overly crowded at nearly all hours, making it hard to get a good workout in without long waits for equipment. Definitely not worth the hassle.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Club 4 Fitness today (Wednesday, around noon). Earlier in the day, I called the club to confirm whether I could bring a friend in on a guest pass. The young woman who answered the phone assured me it would not be a problem. However, when we arrived, the same staff member greeted us with clear disinterest and visible rudeness.

Instead of providing clarification or asking for details, she immediately dismissed us, made faces of annoyance, and treated us with an attitude that felt unnecessarily hostile. She would not even allow my friend to come in, nor would she take the time to assist him in purchasing a membership — which was our actual intention. Her unwillingness to help made the situation even more frustrating.

Unfortunately, I have since spoken with other members who have also shared negative experiences with this same employee. Professionalism and courtesy should be the standard in customer service, especially in a fitness environment where first impressions matter. Today’s experience was unacceptable and left us with a very poor impression of this location.

The positives are tons of equipment, clean, large facility, inexpensive and very friendly staff. The negatives are too many members, I constantly have to ask people how many more texts they have left on each piece of equipment. They also need more neck strengthening equipment for the poor souls who are bending their necks down for minutes at a time between sets, staring at their phones. Overall though it's been a decent place.

Multiple charges without notice. Charged us for bogus after hours charges, 813pm, stating a warning was on the door, which it wasn’t. When we called to explain they could have cared less. We actually found out they had charged us multiple times before without notice. The staff could not care less. Sauna’s are always broke. Equipment is frequently down for repair. They only have 1 of several pieces of equipment that are in high demand so you’re always waiting. They’re nice and cheap to get you in the door and then they’ve got you. I think their scheme is to just charge people for BS until they notice and cancel. We’ve canceled our entire family and are heading to LA Fitness.

When I called again and finally spoke with her she was disrespectful and rude. No apologies for never calling me or reimbursing me. This girl is in no position to manage any place with her behavior.

Subject: Membership Cancellation Due to Manager Conduct and Service Experience

I canceled my premium subscription due to the conduct of the manager, Mickey, and the poor customer service received. For context, both my wife and I are premium members. During a recent visit, my son—who was visiting from out of town—played on the pickleball court in place of my wife.

An altercation occurred between the manager and another club member, with whom I have no affiliation. Despite this, the manager displayed visible frustration toward all players present, including myself and my son, as if we were involved. Approximately twenty minutes later, the manager returned and instructed me to leave the club, citing that my son is not a premium member. This was both inappropriate and embarrassing.

After more than two years of membership, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and customer care. Furthermore, upon canceling my membership, I was required to pay for two more months, which I find unacceptable.

When I first started working out here, I really enjoyed the environment—but lately, that’s changed. I’ve noticed a lot of people not reracking their weights or returning equipment to its proper place. It makes things more difficult for both the members and the staff. I really hope the employees can be more proactive, maybe by walking around more often instead of staying at the front desk.

Our family joined when this gym opened. It’s had its moments, but overall it’s great for the price you pay! The front management seemed to struggle there for a bit with customer service. However, it seemed like some top management leaders came in & did some extra training. Things have been so much better. Childcare has always been awesome! They are always cleaning it every time I see them close up. The girls are so kind to me & my daughter. Yes, there is occasionally where a machine is broken but that comes with the territory. You can’t have perfection when you’ve got equipment being used by 100’s of people everyday. The one thing I wish would be better that has never changed is the sour, molded smell in the steam room. It’s just gross! I also wish there was more of a direct communication opportunity to HR or someone above management. It’s very difficult to file a complaint or problem you may be having with the gym. Overall the staff as of today are kind, the gym is clean, the equipment works & the childcare is very good!!!!

This is a good gym at a great price. It's huge with ample equipment. The equipment is maintained fairly well and the gym is kept pretty clean. The issue is there are so many youth that it is getting challenging to find a decent hour to train. In addition, they don't seem to have the gym etiquette that us old gym rats have such as (wiping down equipment, re-racking weights, common courtesy... The machines are not for gathering and hanging around and shooting the breeze on....many of these youngsters are oblivious to common gym etiquette) the staff is very polite and overall a good place to train if you can deal with the influx of teenagers.

The front staff is polite and the facility is well organized. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for upper management. The two occasions I had an issue I was met with arrogance, no apologizes, no questions on how we could fix the situation. Pure arrogance and dismissive.
The personal trainer division is another mess. They always change schedule/personal trainer or cancel last minute. Three of my classes were skipped because THEY cancelled and at the end I had to pay it anyways. Don’t do it.

The gym is great has plenty of equipment, which are available unless the High School kids make unavailable while they take their selfies, or chit chat.

I am surprised that it takes so long to repair equipment or proactively perform repairs (rips on the bench’s) or janitorial services not being performed (trash on the floor, trash cans over flowing, etc).

It really is a great gym well located, work stations well configured, and open 24x7.

I wanted to share a quick observation. One morning, as I was leaving the gym along with a couple of other ladies, I noticed a young male staff member standing next to a senior team member. I hadn’t seen him before — he seemed new — but something about his body language felt off. It came across as almost mocking, and while I can’t say for sure what it was about, it didn’t sit right with me.

I work out early because it’s part of my mental and physical routine — it’s not easy, but it helps me stay grounded. I come to Club4 to feel better, not to feel judged. That’s not what this gym is about, and I love coming here because it’s in my neighborhood and it’s part of my lifestyle.
I’m not sure if he meant anything by it, but it made me think: maybe Club4 could consider offering some training on emotional intelligence and self-awareness for staff. This is a wellness space, not a place for immature behavior. If someone isn’t ready to interact with the public in a kind and professional way, maybe a behind-the-scenes role would be a better fit.

Just some feedback from someone who really values this place and wants to keep it positive for everyone. PS - what happened to Tom ? Bring him back !

I joined Club 4 Fitness on July 1 and made it very clear to the staff that the main reason I was signing up was for the punching bag. They allowed me to enroll without ever telling me the bag was missing. That is dishonest and misleading.

On July 3, I asked when the punching bag would be back and was told it would arrive in a few days. On July 7, I followed up again and asked for an ETA by email. I received nothing. No reply, no update, not even a basic acknowledgment.

Now it is July 11 and the bag is still not there. When I asked again, staff told me I could use the Carrollton location and claimed it was only ten minutes away. That was false. It is twenty minutes each way. When I went to Carrollton, the staff allowed me to train, but when I asked about resolving the issue, they told me to go back to the Flower Mound location. Then they told me they were closed and completely dropped the issue, with no effort to help or follow up.

I asked for a refund or some kind of compensation since I signed up under false expectations and have not been able to use the facility for what I joined for. I was told no. There was no apology, no ownership, and no solution.

This gym took my money knowing they could not provide what I signed up for, ignored multiple follow-ups, gave misleading responses, and passed responsibility around until it just got dropped entirely. The service is unprofessional and the attitude toward customers is dismissive and predatory.

I strongly recommend avoiding this gym. You will not get honesty, communication, or accountability here.

I canceled my subscription with this company over a year ago. Recently, I noticed they were still charging my account. When I contacted Club4, they redirected me to a third-party billing vendor instead of resolving the issue themselves.

After speaking with the vendor, I was told the charges were linked to my wife’s subscription, which was somehow associated with my account—but under a different membership number. At no point during cancellation was I informed that I needed to cancel multiple contracts separately, even though they were tied to the same account.

This entire cancellation process has been frustrating and unclear. What should have been a simple task turned into a confusing back-and-forth between the gym and their billing provider. Extremely disappointing experience.

This gym has nice equipment, however, the customer service and overall pricing structure is AWFUL. I had issues with my billing info at the start of my membership and they tried drafting $30 in late fees. It got resolved on their end, but still not worth it after all the headache.

On top of that, when I was cancelling my membership, they don't let you just do it in person - They always refer you to the website and billing company phone # (which never has an actual person on call).

It's a BS gym, absolute crook business setup. Terrible customer service. 0/10, would not recommend.

All I wanted to do was to workout for a couple hours with my friends, that's it. I don't usually work out here, but I thought like every other gym you could get a day pass. So first I couldn't get a day pass because I'm 16 so I had to have my parent with me, that's fine, that's understandable. But then I couldn't get a day pass, because my mom didn't have a membership. So what's the point of getting a day pass if you have to have a membership? So then my friend who I was going to work out with came to the front so I could get a guest pass. They said no since he's not 18, so I wouldn't have parental supervision by someone who has a membership. I'm 16 YEARS OLD, not 8! I'm not going to run around breaking machines and whatnot. Also, I had done the exact same thing with my friends previously and had no problems! How do all of the non-18-year-olds who don't have parents with them workout? Really annoying. They could've had a paying customer but nope. Idk why they had to be such sticklers about it.

I am very pleased with the Flower Mound location. Been a member since they opened. Never had an issue. Normal day for me today 5/25/25 10am. But not for the staff. The Staff had a very messy situation today and they handled it exceptionally. I did not get the girls name who had to clean up the floor but she took it like a pro. Put signs out got some gloves brought no attention to the situation by reacting and just did what she had to. She deserves recognition. I did get the guys name who had to help as well. Tyler. He was just as good. No reaction no immaturity, just did what he had to do as well. Great job you two !

When this club first opened it was great. It was clean, organized and well resourced from an equipment perspective. Over time it’s become dirty, damaged and moveable equipment seems to disappear. One of my favorite features of this club is the dark cardio room. With ADHD and sensory processing issues, it’s a comforting place to do cardio. In the past, when they want to clean the room, someone has come around and gave a warning that they are turning on the light to clean. I was there on Saturday and some kid working just flipped on the light with no warning. It was a shock to the system being exposed to bright lights after being in darkness for 30 minutes. When I mentioned it to him after he just gave me the side eye and attitude. I left a message at the front desk with another teenager to have the manager call me. End of day Monday no one had called so I stopped by the front desk on my way in to talk to the manager, Sean. It wasn’t surprising to me when he said he never received the message. It was very surprising to me that he was defensive and not at all apologetic. He pretty much gaslit me and said that Tyler was a good kid but that he’d talk to him. Sean had no empathy for my perspective or experience and showed no interest in apologizing for a negative experience or wanting to make it right. This club is pretty much run by a bunch of teenagers and management doesn’t care about giving patrons a good experience. I guess that’s what you get when it’s so cheap. If you come here, just lower your expectations and don’t expect respect from the staff or management. Because you won’t find it here.

I am frustrated with management and their response in handling health related concerns. I became a member of this gym in February. Facility is good. On free fitness consultation trainer person suggested that I should add collagen as my supplement and how they have their own manufacturing etc. I bought collagen powder and started taking it. End of February I found a small piece of BONE in my collagen, I was disgusted seeing this and it was a health hazard. What if I drank the coffee I put that powder in and that piece of bone got stuck in my throat? I took picture of the BONE contacted my personal trainer and the person who sold me that bottle. Then regional manager contacted me, after that its going back and forth with text messages. Lot of reminders to do something about the matter by me as it is a health hazard for people. On March end I was told to return the bottle and bone to the gym manager. Its been three weeks after returning the bottle and still nothing has been done. This is THE gym and THE location to go to!
I say this because of two most wonderful employees here: Sean (general manager) and Jack (front desk manager)

I have been to many gyms within last 20 years, 24 hr fitness, lifetime, golds gym and orange theory. All of them are chained big box gyms so it’s fair to compare.

The biggest plus for CLUB4 Flower Mound location for us are the people, Sean and Jack.

We encountered quite a few issues: rude members who do not follow the rules, unreasonable care hours (in our opinions), weights not put back, etc. these are typical issues that you would encounter in any gym. However, none of the other gyms I went to dealt with the issues nearly as good as Sean and Jack.

Jack always, always greets and smiles at every person at front desk, making me feel welcomed all the time. He is professional, polite, and truly tries to solve every single issue. Many others would simply ignore customers or pretend to care, but Jack really cares. He takes care of everything, but there still may be things that will involve the GM, and there’s Sean.

Sean oversees everything, so you know he determines the overall experience of this gym. The best news is that he is extremely helpful, understanding, passionate and go above and beyond expectations. He makes sure every member gets the best gym experience, and he would truly try to satisfy members’ requests, even if it means he needs to go beyond his responsibilities. He is caring, passionate, and simply awesome.

People like Jack and Sean are true assets to a gym, and I think CLUB4 Flower Mound is lucky to have these two onboard. As long as they are there, I highly recommend everyone to sign up and enjoy this gym, because you will.

(This location also provides fantastic amenities, but bad people would make any gym a terrible experience. That’s why I only care of people of a gym, as long as they have above average equipments, amenities, etc.)

This is a TERRIBLE company to deal with.
We have been trying to cancel our service for over 1 year. They give us a number, we call, they say the account is canceled and then the next month they charge the credit card, they do this over and over again.
Finally exhausted, I instructed the credit card company to stop payments.
Guess what, the unscrupulous business sends our bill to collections.
Do not deal with them, do not setup autopayment,they are dishonest and will not cancel your membership with a frustrating run around.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well.

Stay away. Place illegally scammed me with over $100 charge and then the manager proceeded to inform me over the phone that it was 'too bad and you need to pay' without offering proof or explanation. I went in to speak with manager and he was Extremely rude. He also started to flip flop his explanation of how they had proof and they didnt have proof. It was very confusing. Paid the fine and came to find out I got a lifetime ban. Brocolli head manager was probably 18 or 20 and had a major power trip. Stay away from this place. This bad experience alone set off this review.

I should of just believed the reviews when I saw them. I’ve only had the membership for 2 weeks, injured myself at work, and I’m still being charged a whopping $93.07 for a gym I can’t even use due to not even being able to drive myself to the doctor. Hey CLUB4! I have a suggestion for you, pay close attention! “Maybe try treating your customers like humans, and not livestock you can suck money out of” Lifetime Fitness is definitely more expensive, but they would never!

I would also like to add, that I have no personal issues with this particular location. The staff at flower mound were very helpful and incredibly nice people. I’m not sure who helps y’all on the corporate end or who’s answering these emails, but they are absolutely dreadful. 🤌🏾

It’s a good gym. Plenty of equipment and variety. The only problem is it’s way too busy from 3pm all the way till 9-10ish. It’s all a bunch of high schoolers or barely out of high schoolers on their phones or dicking around. 5 guys on a rotation for a machine and chatting and talking in between sets taking FOREVER to move on. People sitting on their phones in between sets taking double the amount of time a normal workout on that machine should take. Incredibly annoying. Feels like you’re working out at a high school gym. Wish there was a way to limit how many teenagers they allow to be members. Also equipment is not clean thoroughly. I’ve gotten 3 topical fungal infections around my eyes from the dirty machines.

Okay gym, but they have an awful shoe policy, where if you’re wearing anything bar tennis shoes they’ll kick you out, and it seems like they only in force it on shoes meanwhile I’ve seen people walk around barefoot with staff around and nothing is done about it. It’s really annoying to have to drive home bc one of your workout buddies wore shoes without a back when you’re working out upper body.

Everything is always broken or out of order. The sauna and steam room barely make you sweat and are never working.

Frustrating place to workout since you have people talking at a station for a long time like it’s a country club. It’s not even the highschool kids, it’s the adults who think this place is the mall and their parents dropped them off to hang out with their friend.

Staff is okay. But machines and other perks that are included in your membership are not up to par. Better off somewhere else.

Mis-informed staff:

We were visiting from out of town and needed access to gym for 10 days.
Over phone, a staff member informed about a 3 days trail. When we came on-site, another person mentioned the trail only being offered for locals, we either have to pay $15/day or $25/week pass. So we left.

We returned next day to signup for a week.
We were told by another staff member that no such pass exists. Spoke to manager, Amanda and she said they won't offer weekly pass.

Extremely mis-informed, clueless and very unhelpful staff. No one were able to provide accurate information, confusing the customers.

Zero accountability for fraudulent behavior from employees. We called to cancel and the employee was really frustrating, like a used car salesman, and pressured us into freezing the membership. He assured me they would call before any charges "in case our situation changes so we dont have to pay a registration fee if we come back." We woke up to a $93 charge. the manager says he cant do anything about it and "call headquarters." Headquarters wont let you get to a person. its Christmas time and we spent more $ on a fraud charge from club 4 than on of my childrens Christmas gifts. I've been jumping through hoops to try and cancel my membership, and in the time it's taken, my "30 day notice" rolled over. So now, I need to pay for ANOTHER month of a membership I don't use, and was under the impression that I didn't have anymore. Instead of simply cancelling your account, they send you off to a third party, who can't help you and sends you back to Club4, who sends you BACK to the third party, and so on. No one could give me the proper info to cancel a simple *gym* membership. I'm finally "pending cancellation," but being forced to pay for ANOTHER month.

Sadly, I recently lost my job and asked for grace when I typed an email with a 25 day notice instead of the normal 30 days to cancel the personal training. I appealed to the Operations Manager and did not receive any kindness or grace when I lost my job. I have known some shady gyms in the past but have never met one that has customer service that tries to trick members looking to join.

My wife joined this location a year ago and wanted to try personal training to get in better shape. She thought the personal training would help give her the motivation to stick with the workouts and improve herself. She enrolled in the gym so she could use the equipment and then asked about personal training. The associate enrolling her laid out how much it would cost, how it works, and said that you can cancel at any time. While it is true that you can cancel at anytime they conveniently leave out that you will be charged half of the personal training fees for the remainder of the time as an early termination fee. They do not mention this fact at all when enrolling you, only that you can cancel at anytime.

Now my wife is not completely without fault in this situation because it is buried in their tiny fine print, which she could have read more carefully. We just find it highly deceptive that they only mention being able to cancel anytime and leave out the fee when getting you to sign up.

Shortly after enrolling in personal training my wife and I found out she was pregnant. This obviously changes a lot for a woman including her body, energy, time. They allowed us to pause the membership for 3 months which granted is something but 12 weeks out of 40 when the pregnancy is high risk is truly not as helpful as they think it is. We are not paying over $1,000 to cancel the personal training because the paused period is over and she is not able to use the personal training due to the pregnancy conditions.

We will pay this fee as we do not have a choice. However, everyone in the area should be aware of their deceptive practices. If you are even thinking of doing any sort of personal training please read everything extremely carefully and make sure you are going to be able to complete all of the personal training sessions before signing anything. I highly recommend finding another gym and personal training system if possible.

Avoid this place at all costs. My wife and I liked they offered child care for the kids. We read the reviews and were hesitant but decided to try it for ourselves. I was paying for our memberships, with the same info, mine was charged, my wife’s was not. Which then ended up resulting in a huge late fee charge that the employee blamed fault at me when I clearly don’t control their billing system but was provided the exact info as mine. So I ended up having to pay a huge lump sum of around $200 to catch my wife’s account up, with late fees of $220 which should’ve been waived anyway. The following week or two, I see an extra $106 charge, for no apparent reason. Not to mention, I kept getting the run around, “we will call you back” never heard back from them, as I called them several times trying to resolve the issue. The staff does not clean the equipment, members have to do it themselves and majority don’t even bother. Sauna was down, “under maintenance.” Easily to say, we blocked payment to avoid having to pay another monthly membership fee to cancel. Avoid this place, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I love coming to the gym here, the staff is very friendly, the equipment and facility are well maintained. On top of the typical cardio and weight machines you have classes, turf, sauna and steam rooms, hydromassage, and Red Light therapy all for under $40 a month. I went to sign up for basic membership and was led to believe that they were doing a promotion for the month and it would be the same price as a basic membership. I got charged a $30 fee for my membership the next month and went in to fix the charge. They said there was nothing they could do and it was an additional $40 fee to change my membership to basic membership. I was lied too and mislead. Don’t sign up for membership management is terrible and just wants to take advantage of you.

August 2023 I went in and asked to cancel, i received an email and account number to cancel, i sign in with the account number and it brought me to a Planet Fitness page saying "Account is canceled". I was like "ok, they use the same system as planet fitness, odd but ok" I thought I had canceled. Nope! Come december of 2023 and i get an $84 yearly renewal charge and im like "woah what?!" I then email them asking to cancel this and make sure that there is written notice of cancelation. Nope! They kept running up the bill and did not cancel it. IN RESPONSE TO MANAGER REPLY: As I very clearly stated, I’ve worn them for months. Convinent how you “forgot” to address that in your response. All of you higher up’s and club 4 seem to suffer from the lack of a chromosome or two. And let me reiterate that Golds Gym is by far and away the better gym:) For months I’ve come to this gym wearing pajama pants. Have never had a problem. This last time I visited club4 after waiting in line for 15 minutes I’m greeted by a worker that I have not seen once in my whole time being at this gym. He informs me that that pants that I’ve been wearing for months with no problem is now in violation of the dress code. It would have been one thing if he told me to not wear them again and I can still workout today, but instead he told me I would have to go home and change to workout. Club 4 fitness FLOWER MOUND location
Started April 2023, be careful if you take your kids to the CHILD CARE! I’m 100 percent nothing is sanitized in that place. I had to stop taking my child because I noticed every time I would go work out, my child would be sick a few days after. One time it was RSV!!!! No my child is not in any other daycare, so it’s not a coincidence. I’ve seen the same piece of trash on the floor, in the tanning room for at least a month. Locker rooms are dirty in the afternoon, I’m sure they only clean it once before closing shift. Almost a year at this gym, I’ve never been late at paying monthly until this January 2024. It’s due on the 25th I made an online payment on the 31st. I went to the gym that same day, scanned my club ID and started walking to the treadmill when someone(Zack Shaw) runs behind me and says “I haven’t made a payment this month.” (This is also the busiest hour of the day. I felt so embarrassed, he chased me down to tell me that in front of everyone. ) so I get off the treadmill and tell him, yes I did pay online and I had a email receipt that said it takes 48 hours to process. Now we are both just standing in the front with no solution besides me paying my monthly payment a 2nd time because he couldn’t see it in his system. By this point I’m no longer comfortable working out. I’m just disappointed at how unprofessional this whole situation was handled. I canceled my membership and I’m still waiting on a refund.

I joined this gym a little over a year ago. I use this gym two days per week. I come on Sunday and on my day off during the week, since I live in Flower Mound. My primary gym is John Reed Fitness in Dallas, as I work just two blocks from there.
I never have been 100% happy here as there always seems to be something that is not operating. A few weeks ago the steam room was out of commission for a few days. There always seems to be some equipment that is down and unable to use. On many occasion you can look around and see trash on the ground near the equipment. The men’s locker room always looks a bit messy. After I work out I always enjoy using the steam room, but I’m a little put off and hesitant,as the floor is always dirty from member’s shoes and spills from sports drinks.
This past week I went to take a shower after my workout to find there was no soap in the dispenser, and the drains clogged with hair.
I am really contemplating dropping my membership, but would like to give them another chance. As I mentioned, this gym is very convenient and close to home.

The gym is decent, but I'm not a fan of the "fees and sales tactics" style of customer relationship management. I wanted to downgrade from the mid-tier to the base tier membership, but was told it would be $50 to change levels. Since I recently paid the $50 annual fee, I just didn't have the appetite.

Club has all the equipment you could want or need but don’t trust the sales guy. My wife and I joined in May 2023. The sales guy told us we could change the membership at any time. My wife choose the one with childcare included. Our children never come. She went to go downgrade to the basic plan. We were informed there would be a $50 fee to downgrade. This was nowhere in the contract (I looked). When I brought this up the assistant manager said there was nothing he could do. He further stated his manager would not be in for 6 days. If they can’t wave the fee we will be done here. I just can’t stand shady business practices.

Update: met with the gym manager today. After asking where the clause was in the contract, he called someone on the phone and spoke to them for over 30 minutes. He came back and said the charge was a policy and not part of the contract. He said the gym charges $49 as a courtesy to the customers. He said the other option was to cancel and resign up for $49 plus $10 for initiation. We decided just to cancel and not sign back up. Keep it up CLUB4 and you will be out of business soon.

I enjoy working out in this gym. It is big and areas are spread out nicely.
It is crowded in the evenings so going early or late is better option.
