I love Core Athletic Club! I have been going there since it opened. They have the best equipment. If something breaks, they fix it right away. The staff is very attentive. There is also such a sense of community at Core. Everyone knows everyone and you never feel like anyone is judging you. There are people from all fitness levels. My husband and I, and our two teenage girls, visit the Core every morning at 5:00am when the doors open. Kelli is always there with a smile and is happy to see us! It's a wonderful environment, exceptionally clean, and the people are amazing! They offer a great selection of classes and personal training. Don't hesitate to stop by and get a tour, you won't be sorry!

I joined the gym early August 2024. The best thing about the gym is that is is very clean and the machines ALWAYS work. (I hope I don't jinx it). There hasn't been a day that I go in and something is broke. Any gym goers know how impressive that is! It has a lot of great equipment and the dumbells go up 130lbs. Also a huge plus for me since many smaller type gyms max at 100lbs. I will say that everyone has been super friendly from the staff (Kelli is very cool and down to earth!) to the patrons. I do generally like much larger gyms due to feeding off the energy of a big hard working crowd but Core Athletic Club is a good balance especially since you rarely have to wait for equipment!

I love this gym! I've been going here for about a month and it is always very clean and organized. I have never seen it get super busy so I can always get a good workout in. Also, the people who go here are very nice and encouraging which makes for a chill vibe but a hard-working environment.

I can not believe how amazing this gym is!!!!!

I had to waited a few months to write this review, because this gym is too good to be true, and I wanted to confirm that this is how they are consistently over a few months first. Plus, it was also the first gym I tried after moving here to Boerne, and it could have been a fluke.

I am more than excited to confirm that this is the best gym experience I have ever had. The staff is kind, professional, and the other gym members are outstandingly welcoming, and supportive of all new comers no matter your experience level. Someone is there to make you feel like you belong here. I am a disabled veteran too, and I never felt out of place here, you shouldn’t either.

Keli at the front desk is a standout. She is so excited to see everyone who comes in to the gym and instantly makes them feel welcome, engaged and ready to put in some work.

So…

Stop by, meet Keli ,or any other staff member working that day to be honest, they are all exceptional, and I promise you will leave with an excitement for fitness, if you didn’t already have one, and a fresh membership card for the best gym experience/environment in Texas!!! 5++++ Stars.

Core is simply the best! I'm a regular at their classes, and I can't get enough. The instructors are fantastic – always there to guide and motivate us. What I love most is the sense of community. I have been a member of Core Fitness for several months now and am very happy with the facility and the team. There is plenty of equipment; it is all high quality, in excellent condition and I have never had to wait to use anything. The amenities are excellent (although I don’t use them all – childcare as an example) and the facilities are immaculate. But one of the most important parts of the gym experience are the people, and the staff and members are just the best.
I have been a gym member for over twenty years: from chains to single location to private facilities in corporate settings and Core Fitness stands out as among the very best. I strongly recommend Core.

By far the most state of the art, modern, clean and most importantly friendly gym in Boerne. Members include anything from beginners to advanced athletes and all receive the utmost support. The group classes are quite varied and available at convenient hours, regardless of your schedule. Sauna is very relaxing and the atmosphere is the most welcoming I have ever experienced. My favorite group class instructors include Kelli, Liz, Roque and Becky.

There are a lot of great things about this gym. Staff is friendly. Equipment is nice. Here are my pain points: general hours are not near as long as most gyms particularly those charging a slightly higher premium. It’s smaller and during peak hours gets busy and you have to wait for certain weights/machines. If you are a person who likes classes I hope you don’t have anywhere to be. I could never do their classes becaue they don’t stick to their schedule and frequently run 20-30 minutes over. Great if you’ve got time and want the longer workout but I’m pretty structured and like start and end times to be accurate. There is not great access to a studio for those doing virtual workout programs or who like to stretch in privacy. What access there is I have been told will be gone within the year. Sad day. This is massively important to me and with the popularity of virtual workout programs most gyms now have space for this type of thing. I’m a SAHM and essentially just need child care for my littles and space to do my workout program. If a gym can’t accommodate that, it’s not the one for me.

The gym is pretty clean and well maintained. Plenty of equipment and free weights although it could use some more space for some powerlifting. The only real gripe I have is the hours, which definitely need to be extended. Closing at 9 on weekdays is passable but just barely. Makes it really difficult to get a workout in if I work later. Closing at 6 on both Saturday and Sunday is really just unacceptable especially for the amount they charge for memberships. Would be 5 stars if not for the hours.

This gym is AWESOME. I came here as a guest when I visited my parents, but I would join in a heartbeat if I lived in the area. It's large, but not so big that you have to walk a mile to get to a machine on the other side of the gym (I'm looking at you, Lifetime). They also have a bar with alcohol, which is pretty interesting at a gym. The locker rooms and bathrooms are also super clean and nice.

Some of the best machines I’ve seen! Staff is very friendly and helpful, facility is clean and spacious. Locker rooms are great, soft toilet paper— I know it’s a small thing, but hey, you get what you pay for ;-) No complaints at all. Very convenient for me since it’s right off 46 so I don’t have to mess with traffic. I’ll be there regularly!
