Time has taken a tole on the equipment.
Once a month or so the leg extension is broken (because people don't understand how to use it I guess?) No rush to fix it. Carabiners go missing sometimes. Or break and are never replaced. Seats crack and stay cracked.

Claims to be a "no contract gym". I've had HELL trying to cancel mine and my boyfriends gym membership. When I finally got through to someone I was told I'd still be charged AGAIN! When I had signed up the guy who was "explaining the sign up process" said it was as easy as calling you there and cancelling. I've tried to speak with Several managers about this problem but they're always "unavailable". When I asked about the extra payment I was told it was part of the contract. Sounds like false advertisement to me saying it's a no contract gym.

Been with crunch since open , been to multiple in Texas this is the worst one. Water machine idk what’s going on they’re starting not to care but have fees for everything and cleaning fee a year 😂 a joke. Machines stay broke . some the trainers is pretty professional at what they do I will say though and be aware 30$ to change plans and cancel membership when claims to be a no contract gym 🤔

We have been members for a few months now, and so far it's been ok. We enjoy access to the red light therapy, and the sauna on top of the gym access. However, cleanliness is probably my biggest issue, specifically the locker room, showers and sauna. I specifically joined Crunch for easy access to a real sauna along with a normal gym membership. There seems to be apparently zero effort by anyone to keeping the sauna clean. It's often disgusting because people wear their full gym attire into the sauna including their dirty shoes shoes. I see this every day. That is a health and hygiene problem. There is a reason most spas and places with saunas are strict about what you can wear into the sauna. Most of them allow towels and shorts only, just for that reason, to keep outside dirt and grime away as much as possible. This is enough to slowly make us reconsider our membership. It's unfortunate, because the staff is friendly and the gym is fairly nice overall. I understand that there are dirty people out there, but the gym can do a better job of enforcing things that promote hygiene. The sauna is borderline at best.

Too many cardio machines and not enough of the weight training machines. You often end up waiting on the delt fly machine. They need to work on their cleanliness. The floors are often scuzzy and the toilets have feces stuck in the same places across multiple trips. Found a dead roach in the locker. Safety concerns at night. They recently went to 1 person at night. It is a huge facility and I worry that something untoward could happen to the workers and no one notice. Day time staff seems like they are just standing at the desk to make sales and chit chat. They never seem busy. The ones that actually do work are always super busy while the same ones are always busy doing a lot of laughing and talking. Spoke to staff multiple times including today. Hopefully they will address the changes.

I have been trying to work with Crunch since December. They over billed me once I stopped using a personal trainer. The total amount was $450. It took awhile but I was able to get $300 refunded. That still leaves $150 left of overcharges. I've tried to be patient but they are not responding to my emails.

Excellent gym but it’s filthy. Every Crunch club I’ve visited has been excellent. The machines and the benches are plentiful, the massage chairs are always available, and the staff are friendly, but why is the place so damn dirty? I never see staff cleaning. The water fountains have mold near the drains. The men’s locker room looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. Mold surrounds the grout near the sinks; I can’t imagine what the showers look like.

I would give it 5 stars but because they obviously don’t clean regularly, and that’s a big thing. Clean your gym, Crunch Beaumont.

I gave Crunch a real shot, but I wouldn’t recommend it — especially if you’re serious about your fitness journey or just starting out.

The gym is small, not that clean, and feels like anyone can walk in off the street because it’s so cheap. Sure, the low price might be a pro for some, but it comes at a cost — you get what you pay for, and in this case, it’s not much.

The environment is extremely judgmental. Some staff members are rude and I’ve overheard them talk about gym members more than once. It’s not just them either — the whole atmosphere is off. If you’re new or unsure how to use a machine, people literally laugh and make fun of you instead of offering help.

The trainers are arrogant and seem more like sales people than real fitness coaches. It feels very predatory how they try to recruit clients — like they’ll take anyone who passed a test just to fill a quota.

Also, cancellation is a hassle, and the place doesn’t feel like a real gym — more like a hangout spot. The vibe feels like it’s been taken over by teenagers, rednecks, and people who aren’t even there to work out.

In my experience, gyms like World Gym or Exygon in Beaumont are way more welcoming, supportive, and actually focused on fitness.

For the price and what you get, this gym just isn’t worth it.

Personal trainer Forest helps me learn how to use the equipment correctly & safely. I have already lost 10 lbs. since the end of December. I had not been in a gym for about 30 years. All the staff at the Beaumont location are wonderful too. Very helpful & friendly. 👍😊

With that, being said, Crunch in Beaumont definitely was as expected. Just a little bit better as I walked into the gym. For the first time I was greeted by a friendly outgoing staff, particularly Cassie.Good energy and made me feel very comfortable. I like Crunch, good training environment and good energy.

They do have hidden fees and lie in your face . Tried to cancel my membership and told i will still be charged after i cancel and won’t have access to the gym after my last payment . I don’t understand why i have to pay a month after i cancel and then will have access deny when I have to pay the monthly fee to even gain access. So you have to pay to cancel Basically. And a hidden fee is called the 30 day Cancellation notice. When ever they class action law suit happens i will be in to get my money back so until then count your days of been open crunch , cause the way your policy is , a law suit will happen . Stealing people money to fund your gym is just sad.

I cancelled my membership in May of 2024 due to moving from Texas to Colorado. I went in person to sign the paper authorizing the cancellation of my membership, was told that I was all set, and good to go. Some incompetent employee never filed away my cancellation and they have apparently been processing my payment ever since and are telling me there is no record of my cancellation and that I’m not able to get that money back. What a load of bull.

I like how many options they have for lifting. From cables to cardio to free weights to punching bags etc. definitely judgement free. Plenty of room in bathroom. Unlike worlds gym the cleaning staff is not rude and they don’t make you work around their schedule. They always have a place for you to get changed during all hours. The customer service is excellent as well

Some of the people at the front desk aren’t very friendly. Walked in yesterday in the evening and the girl with the blonde hair snatched the scanner away and rudely slams it face down as I’m trying to scan in. Uncalled for. Zero basic customer service skills. I can understand if she was having a bad day, but don’t take it out on others. There was about 3 other employees there and no one even spoke. I didn’t even stay but 5 minutes her attitude ruined my workout.

my main one is the one in league city, wanted to try this one out cause it’s closer to my job and i am beyond disappointed. Compared to my main gym this one is beaumont
1. felt very unwelcoming once I walked into the door.
2. very crowded and small everything is so close together theres next to no room to do stretches and even when being on a machine people have no respect and just walk way too close in proximity in front of you working out.
3. all the equipment is hogged for hours by the same person or persons so you can’t even get your full workout in.
4. even going on different machines they felt horrible as if they don't maintain them not smooth at all.
5. Multiple machines were out of service please tell me how you are a gym earning so much from the memberships and you can’t even make sure your machines are working..
I expected better from crunch. I am very happy they will be opening a new one cause the one in beaumont is definitely not it.

Today I decided I wanted to take a tour of the gym. Maddy was the one that I talked to and she was absolutely amazing! She answered any and all questions I had about the gym and she made me feel comfortable and I felt like I was wanted there. At first I was just going in to see if I even wanted to start going there and by the end of the tour I was signed up and ready to go. I can’t wait to start this journey. Friendly staff, clean facility, open 24 hours, and every machine you can think of. The 1/2 hour power is PERFECT for my 3am workout because it's the only time I have between work, kids, school, and house duties. I'm able to do a guided full body workout with ease.
The only reason I don't want to recommend it is because I don't want my 3am sessions to become crowded 😜

The equipment are amazing, the staff are Simi friendly. The training is a joke I watch them train other people and can say it's a waste of time and money. The mens restroom are never moped and looks like a trash half the time. They should be moped every 5 hours or even sooner but never done. There is only one changing room. That room is never wiped down nor moped. The mens sauna is never clean. I'm in there every day and can find things left in there, and never taken out the next. a few days pass and i finally take it out. The wood is never cleaned or treated 😪. Yes the place is open 24 hours. Yea the equipment are new. Yea it's better than planet fitness. But it's not as Goods as 24 hour fitness, fitness connection, or LA fitness. The gym has no basketball gym what a waste. I love the fact that there is new equipment and 24 hours that's it. 👌

Canceled after the kids center called and said my child is too fussy so we needed to come get her. On a slow Sunday my wife and I took turns holding her and working out, she was fine and not fussy. But we obviously ruined a trainers day because he came up and said we need to leave its gym policy. Not a you can’t have her out here, a you need to leave.

Canceled my membership when my son, who is 9 years old, and I were approached by a managing member and told that he could not work out there with me because he was to young but, he could go in and play video games while I worked out. I think it’s a little ridiculous that kids can’t work out with their parents, but they can be once again thrown in front of technology and that is encouraged and OK. They have very shady business practices, like forcing you to come in person to cancel, charging you a cancellation fee, charging you fees for swapping plans, obscene and unquestioned late fees. I went in to freeze my account, they made me sign a paper and said okay. Fast forward one week, my account was never frozen, I went in and paid $44. Told them I wanted to cancel my account. They said they charge you a month to cancel plus a fee. Came back the next day and they tacked on another late fee despite me asking weeks prior to freeze my account and also cancel. Ended up having to pay $77 to get rid of them entirely. They try and trap you into payments. I'll be contacting BBB. Avoid them at all costs. Just go to planet fitness.

I joined primarily because I wanted to be ready on my hike trip, I have problems with my neck and back and I have not been able to use a backpack for years.. my trainer Misty Lejeune made sure I was prepared, she is knowledgeable and concentrated on my upper arms,neck and back. Seen promotion on social media for 1cents sign up. It's been HELL WITH THIS GYM SINCE. Went in Friday to sign up, I wanted the basic but was upgraded to the peak. Pretty easy. I go in Saturday to use the gym, I scan in and work out. On the way out I decided to use the Hydro machine which needs your package check from the attendant. She says you can't use the Hydro machine because you owe 500 dollars WTH! SHE call the manager Denise which is totally useless physically and intellectually. They are supposed to investigate and let me know. I do not recommend signing up for any type of membership for this gym. Save our time and money.

This is not my home location. I went to this location five times using my guest privileges. The location, behind the mall, was a little difficult to locate, as my GPS took me to the front of the mall. There was plenty of available parking.

The gym appears to be relatively new. The locker room was clean and had a sauna, along with plenty of lockers.

This location has a lot of cardio equipment and resistance equipment. I only did cardio and was happy to never have to wait for a Stairmaster or treadmill. There are plenty of working televisions in the cardio area.

They have twice as many hydro-beds as my home gym, and they appeared to be new. They only had one Red Light Therapy room, but I never had to wait to use it.

I very much enjoyed working out here!

WARNING !!! DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM … hi I travel for work and I joined the gym for a few months… when I got ready to leave… I was halfway home when I remembered I did not cancel the membership. I pulled over. Tried to cancel the membership online. SOMETHING YOU CANNOT DO… so I turned around and had to do it in person!!! Fast forward six months not only was the membership not canceled, but I have been being billed since then… and since you cannot cancel online, I have to drive way to another city to cancel.. because the only other alternative is to send a certified letter, which will probably leave me stuck in the membership for another 30 days!!! Good gym experience, however when I moved to LA fitness and tried to cancel it is NOT hassel free! I have tried calling, app cancelation, and in person!! You need to speak to a manager to cancel your membership. I have had employees inform me my membership is canceled however I am still being charged monthly without knowing. I would give this place zero stars but that’s not an option.Preston is the name of the manager at this gym. He’s the worse I ever met , he’s so rude and told a client “The trainers aren’t there to say hi or speak to anyone. They don’t get paid to talk to you.” I have never been to any establishment, much less a gym where someone has been told that. My boyfriend has canceled his personal trainer sessions with Preston because he has changed his schedule so much, which I was okay with but the worst thing was that he completely ended any communication about further sessions when my boyfriend paid for 12 sessions with him and then told him later he didn’t have anytime for him. When he said he didn’t have any plans to train anyone when he clearly laid about! When he canceled the sessions and membership completely he is getting charged again for the very thing I canceled in the first place!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Never recommending this place to anyone.

WARNING! Crunch Fitness cancellation policy is NOT hassle free. You cannot cancel by email, phone, or through the app. If you have separate services, you have to cancel them separately. You must go in person and the manager over the service you are canceling must be there for you to be able to cancel…meaning multiple visits or scheduling an appointment to cancel the membership. My daughter moved out of state and was charged multiple months after trying to cancel through the app while out of state. When she visited for the holiday and went in person the manager was not there, so again not able to cancel. Finally we returned when a manager was present and they cancelled her membership, but warned her she will be charged for 30 more days. I do not recommend this business!

Just want to give a big shout out to this gym and how thankful I am for the staff in the childcare room especially Jamie and Chanel! My babies love coming to the gym and I feel so blessed to have a safe fun place for them to go while I can get my workout in!!!!! Loveeeeee this Gym! ❤️❤️❤️

I can't say enough positive things about this gym. The childcare is such a blessing. All the workers adore my little ones and they always leave with a smile. It took a few weeks for my baby to get adjusted, and yes, many workouts were cut short because of his fussiness. But that's not the fault of the childcare team! There were times in the beginning when I would just sit with him for 20-30min to help him get adjusted and the workers were totally fine with it. Give these ladies some grace and put your child's wellbeing first; your workout can wait or you can hire a sitter.
Classes are so much fun and it's a very positive, uplifting environment. Everyone supports each other and offers encouragement. Trainers and instructors are phenomenal!

I have been coming here since they opened and the thing that has made such a difference and a huge help is the amazing care my baby receives at kids CRUNCH.
Anywhere else I take him he just cries cries cries cries, but at kids crunch they are patient and caring with my little tot.
For that I am so thankful and for the group classes that have enabled me to stay consistent.

The main reason I started going to Crunch was for childcare. We drive about 20 minutes one way specifically for that. We were skeptical at first but Jaime and Chanel have ALWAYS made my daughter and I feel welcome. Every time I walk in they’re entertaining all ages from babies to bigger kids. Mornings is more appropriate for small children, evenings is more older kids and they know how to keep them all entertained. If a child is inconsolable for longer than 10 minutes, they’re calling the parent. They do everything they can to their abilities to calm those babies down. We’ve been going for 9 months and my 3 year old is always excited to see them and loves them.

our girl absolutely adores the girls in kids crunch! they are very professional and keep me updated with every detail ! we’ve never had a single issue , they call me if needed to be changed, have a question about snacks, etc. they keep her kinda separated from the older kids which I love because she’s only a year old. best thing to ever happen in Beaumont, a gym with babysitting for us moms!

Good morning, my complaint is for the girls who take care of the children's. Whenever we go, they're always on their phone, they don't take good care of the children's, and they're paying for a service for nothing, because they're not doing their job well. If your child cries they don't know how to calm them down, they're too unexperienced, they should change them for people who knows how to interact with kids.

I am so IMPRESSED with Crunch Fitness. I am. I did black card Planet Fitness for EONS and loved it. But for $10 more a month I unlocked so many other potential fitness benefits and a plethora of bonuses from this gym. If you sign up, ask for Megan. She also owns/runs megatronix here in Lumberton. She’s so sweet. She gave the best tour. Made me comfortable. Made sure I had all my answers to all my questions. They’re so awesome there. And, they clean the tanning/massage area when you’re done—-so there’s no risk that the person before you didn’t do it. I’m so excited to see if I’ll be brave enough to join a Zumba or do a Ride class one day, but for now, I’m bragging on the gym experience. Definitely better than PF (also if you have kids, the membership I got for $10 more than the PF one comes with free babysitting…)

I absolutely love this gym! The staff are absolutely amazing!!! I have never walked in and had a bad experience!!! I get told good morning every single day and everyone is always smiling!! That makes a big difference in my day!! You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. And mind you I come at 4:30am so I know the staff is tired but they never show it!!! The coaches are all amazing but I would have to say Devaughn is my absolute favorite!! I recommend crunch to everyone I talk to about fitness!!!

Be cautious when hiring a PT! You don't need to worry about their professionalism or their dedication to your progress. They will develop a great relationship with you and greet you with a smile every time. The trainers will develop your meal plans and workouts to help you achieve your specific goals. They'll closely monitor your progress and motivate you to do more than you thought you could.

Despite all of these AMAZING qualities, you may not get the results you expect. You may result in looking so damn good that you and your spouse end up with a surprise pregnancy like my wife and I 😅

I like the machines here and the options depending on where you’re starting at. I’ve been going here since they opened. I’ve had no issue until recently. I called about suspending my plan as I’ve had some health issues and can’t work out. They said that wouldn’t be an issue but I had to come in and fill out some forms. Not a problem, when I went in to suspend the lady behind the desk asked me why I wanted to suspend. I told her it was health related, she asked what the health issue was! I told her it was personal and asked why she needed that info. She got irritated and responded It’s “required”. I refused to tell her what it was since that’s very personal. She said well it’s best if you cancel then and re join later. I didn’t have an issue with that but her attitude leaves me not wanting to return.

I do not recommend signing up here. Gym is way to busy and too small for how many members they have. The “cancel anytime no hassle” is not true. Was a big hassle to cancel I’m out nearly $300 for mine and my girlfriend’s membership. They make you wait 3 months to before you can cancel. If you want to get in and out of the gym I don’t recommend. It’s also very loud when they have classes going on so nearly impossible to workout without headphones. Overall 1/10 on my experiences at gyms.

A hassle to get out of pt even with your doctor telling you to stop training i gave my trainer my paper from the doctor and hospital on April 25 and they still kept pulling 250 something out my account every two weeks

Wasted 30 mins of my life just trying to find a new gym when I travel monthly to Beaumont.

Their “free” 1 day pass wasn’t working online so I came into the gym thinking they could help me. WRONG… they instead wanted to charge me $16. Completely insane when you can go anywhere else for FREE to see if you merely like the gym. Oh and they hide in the terms in conditions you have to live in Beaumont for the free pass. I planned on signing up today after my workout but absolutely not now.

Hopefully I can save somebody else some time from coming here. I’ll find a new home gym to attend when I come here every month, absolutely ridiculous.

The gym is new and the layout and equipment is well placed.
I would recommend only joining with a membership and skip the personal trainer. I signed up for 6 months with one session a week with the hopes they could get me in better shape. While I do like my current trainer, the first was unprofessional and manipulative. The program is sloppy and doesn't work with the Crunch App and the nutritional guide is a joke. The Crunch Personal Training program is half baked at best. No where near worth the money. Best to skip it.

Great friendly staff, no judgment atmosphere and the amenities are endless. My first experience with a fitness center, and they covered all the bases. I would like to suggest adding nail salon, make it a one stop shop, lol. The diversity of equipment and techniques for achieving your goals can be accomplished here. Very impressive well thought out venue.

When I first Came in to check out the Gym. Ian recommend I check out the Hydro Massage and The Red Light therapy after every workout and I was sold. But theres plenty of equipment and the atmosphere is cool. Worth every penny and I love it here
