Update at the end: Spoiler it isn't good
I purchased a Montly-non commitment membership online at the beginning of the month. I was excited to get back into the gym to get back into shape for the Fire Department. However I wouldn't get to lift a weight.
The next day I went to workout at the gym and was stopped at the desk. I was informed that it is policy to have two forms of payment on file. I already had my debt card on file and they wanted a credit card or my bank routing information.
I refused saying that my debt card was on file and that's all that was requested of me when I purchased the membership online. They claimed it was policy. Again, I declined because under no circumstances should Crunch fitness have my banking information and again, the 2nd payment wasnt required on the payment screen, nor mentioned at any point.
I was informed that I couldnt use the gym until I added that information, because as they said "it was policy". I requested to speak with the manager who reiterated that it was policy. Even though I know many people who work out there, who after asking, told me they dont have to have 2 forms of payment on file. Nor have they ever been asked.
So, because the manager didnt listen to me, and just stated its policy, I was backed into corner. So inquired about just canceling the whole thing because Im not going to pay for a membership that I cant use. Their staff stated I couldnt proceed to workout and the manager I guess didnt hear that, but went ahead and affirmed what her team said.
The cancellation fee would cost me well over $100. So I left without canceling or working out, so I could get clarification on this policy. I had requested to speak with the area manager and got a managing partner's email, Chris Lennox. I emailed Chris, and he never responded. I sent a follow up email and nothing.
Only when I complained to the area manager did the assistant manager email me asking for the details/clarification. But because she shut me down during our first conversation, it made the situation escalate to someone above her. Which ment she could no longer resolve the matter.
To this day I haven't heard anything from Chris. I cant use the gym that I paid for because staff stated until I comply by giving them two forms of payment. Given how many people dont have two forms of payment, its a safe bet to say that the policy isnt real.
Plus, it's not listed anywhere on the website. The only thing the website asks is one form of payment. The other issue is the other people who I was supposed to workout with and other members not having two forms of payment but no one said a word to them.
Its probably a smart move that I didn't give them two forms of payment because when you Google this gym, apparently they double bill people pretty often and since they have great customer service, the issues dont get fixed for months.
My first ever experience with Crunch, will more than likely be my last. From terrible customer service, to managers who dont get back with anyone. Now I have a membership that I cant use because the gym wants to change the terms to which I already agreed on.
Update: Chris never got back with me. Nor did anyone call me to even discuss this. I still never went back to workout. I will be working on canceling my membership. I would avoid this place at all costs. When it comes to resolution on customer service issues none of the managers know what they're doing.

Been a member for over a yr. Loved it at first. They just switched out all of the old equipment and replaced the machines. I gave the new one a try, but I can no longer use the elliptical due to physical reasons. I have hardware in my hip and it aggravated it so much I couldn't even lift my leg the next day. I went to cancel before my due date and was told I had to pay for 30 more days even though I wouldn't be able to come anymore😩 I did a bit of research and have other associates who canceled without being charged who were of a different race. I asked for the policy and wasn't given one. They just charged my card and said it would be canceled in December. I don't like the way this was handled and it made me feel uneasy. Sadly although I've been charged for an extra month I won't be returning.

I regret signing up for this gym- it may be a scam. After an extended billing dispute that resolved in 2022, recently crunch fitness began auto debiting my account again despite us no longer living in the state and having canceled year ago. I have had to open a second dispute with my credit card company. NEVER AGAIN will I sign up for crunch fitness

Went in for a saturday morning workout, and experienced very rude front desk staff. Honestly, they typically aren't friendly, as in they don't say "hello", at least not all the time, or even look at who's entering, which is dangerous, as you should be keeping your eyes on the doors, especially at the front desk. But today was just way worse. I certainly don't feel valued or welcomed here, I was treated like a kid today by the woman and young man at the front desk.
I guess they just don't care, if nothing changes then I guess the owners don't care either. Not somewhere I want to spend my money.

I came to Crunch Fitness on a saturday morning, Nov. 1st between 7–8 a.m., and the woman at the front desk (blonde hair up, wearing black, with eyelash extensions) was noticeably rude and dismissive. I greeted her with “good morning" as soon as I walked in, and she just looked me up and down without saying anything. After scanning in, she stopped me and said, “I need your picture,” in a curt tone.
So I stood there waiting for the picture to be taken, but she gave no direction or acknowledgment, then just said “scoot over,” and then, a flat “okay.” No “thank you” or “you’re all set.”
For a place that promotes positivity and community, this interaction was very disappointing. Staff friendliness makes a huge difference, and this experience honestly has me considering switching to EOS (I'm sure no one will care, at least not people who just "work" there), where the staff are much more welcoming. Crunch can keep opening new locations, but if employees continue to treat members this way, it won’t matter. Hopefully management or corporate addresses this, because first impressions count. This affects your current members and future members as well.

If I could rate lower than one star I would. They pull you in with “cheaper rates” then overcharge you. Additionally, you have to come in to cancel your membership because they surprise you with yet another $40 charge… to CANCEL!!! Insane! Would not recommend going here whatsoever.

I transfered here from the sugar land location, the staff are very sweet and helpful i enjoy the hydromassage chair tbh i work the night shift and this saves my life and as long as there is no line you can go as many times plenty of space doesnt feel overwhelming

Clean facility and friendly staff. The gym is large, but does not feel overwhelming. Has ample equipment of all types including boxing equipment, row machines, all kinds of cardio equipment, stationary weight equipment, and free weights. Separate fitness rooms for cycling, dance fitness/circuit training, and yoga classes. Amenities for premium memberships include sauna, hydro massage chairs, infrared recovery chamber, and even tanning options. Premium membership is definitely proven to be worth it! Recommend taking advantage of new members personal training initial consultation with body composition. Really enjoying this place, I go multiple times weekly.

Overall the gym and the pricing have been great for years. Reason why I came back and renewed my membership after college.
I say this with the amount of years I’ve been with this gym: The customer service has gone extremely down. When I first started at crunch, they made me feel like I was not just going to crunch, but a part of crunch. They were memorable. When I cancelled my membership they had me sad with them. Although I was leaving to another state I knew I’d come back after.
When I returned after college those people were no longer working there and I’d say there were only two workers that were kind, the rest including the general manager just made me feel uncomfortable to be there. When I needed to use a red light room or hydro bed, they made it feel like a hassle and so I stopped asking. Cancelling membership recently, was the first time I seen them concerned. But it was more of a snarky concern, where I felt more inclined to cancel.
As far as everything else, I’d say I was excited when they expanded the gym, but for there to be a bigger gym and only two stalls, I chose to go to the bathroom next door due to the line.
I say all this not to bash the gym but to hopefully help the gym rebuild its culture.

This review is more for the members that go there, the staff is fine. The members there are extremely entitled and even being grown adults would rather complain to the staff instead of having a grown conversation. I just found out the previous GM, Phillip Terpening has been promoted and the new managing partner is Chris Leanox. Congratulations Phillip and THANK YOU for all you did for your employees and most importantly your members. Phillip had tremendous pride in instilling absolute professionalism, respect and dedication in all his employees. He never once made an excuse or pointed the finger when there was a billing issue, unhappy member or one of his own employees getting out of line. Phillip always apologized for the oversight and found a solution. He maintained a safe and welcoming gym for all. I will miss having Phillip around and I hope Chris Leanox can maintain and continue to keep the gym as Phillip had built and left behind. I wish Chris much success and Congratulations on your new gym. You have some BIG shoes to fill and I know you will do your best. We will all be watching and rooting for you. Really disappointed with Crunch. They recently added a banner with a picture of a man wearing women’s workout clothing not too far from the CHILDCARE area. You would think they would learn from Bud Light….. I immediately canceled my membership as this is unacceptable and the absolute last thing I want to see when I start my day at 5am.

The long brunette hair girl treated us like we're trying to get a handout and said we lived to far away when we live 10 min down the road. Didn't tell us about the plans or our options. Beware signing up with this gym, their billing system is very problematic. I signed my son up online, went in a few days later and canceled in-person with the manager. Despite the fact that my account shows as inactive and has since May, they have continued to bill me monthly (it's August now) and charged me an annual fee in July. There is no such thing as customer service online. The phone number directs you to email which gives you a canned response of "thanks for your feedback" no matter your question or concern. I have been there and called multiple times and the staff including the manager tells me they can't figure out why I am being billed because my account says it is inactive but they are also unable to stop it from billing me. Despite allegedly sending numerous emails to their operations department, no response from them either. I have even emailed the owner who never bothered to respond. Today some joker from their billing department called me to talk about a past due balance. These fools have charged me monthly for an inactive account and can't fix that but are going to try to tell me I owe them more money. Then when he got the full story said oh sorry I see your account is inactive. I went to my bank to pursue the fraudulent charges and am likely going to have to close that bank account to stop them from charging me because there is no way to change it on the inactive account. Be warned if you do sign up with this gym, definitely don't give them your bank account info.

I canceled my membership here and paid the last month I owed so my account was all squared away and there was nothing else to do. Several months later they charged my card even though I owed them no money. I called and was told that I was correct I owed them no money and they would take care of it . I've been calling for a couple of weeks trying to get them to refund me and I get the same response every time that they're looking into it or they've spoken to a manager or they'll let me know or whatever but they simply won't refund my money..

We have been members of Crunch fitness in league city , we have a membership that we signed up, which includes two people for entry. We have been using that consistently for the past year. Suddenly, today, the lady at the reception stated that we have never had this type of plan and that she has been working for the past three years and never heard of it. I love this gym and have looked at many more before sticking with this one. What had me sold was the daycare! Alyssa has been amazing and my granddaughter loves coming here! The daycare attendants keep them engaged with child friendly workouts. She always communicates well, we have had many friendly conversations and it makes me feel safe dropping my kids off here!

I hardly ever go to this gym because its so overly crowded and people hog machines for hours. Taylor has been harassing me for over a year. Non stop phone calls to where i had to block the gym phone, all because i didnt have a picture on my account. Yalls terms of service do not require a photo. I read the whole things and it says you will collect info like my birthday, sex, height, ect. No where in the contract does it say the photo is required. My father set up this gym account for me. So she should be calling him if she has issues. (There are no issues, its paid) Taylor is the only one who ever stops me when I scan in. My account is active and paid for. STOP HARASSING ME. STOP STOPPING ME AT THE DOOR. I WILL LEAVE EVERYTIME RATHER THEN TALK TO YOU. The terms of service clearly say that I am responsible for updating my own information. So, if I havent updated my address, I still live there. Do better crunch.

I've been working out at this facility for the past five years and, overall, it’s been a great experience. The environment has typically been welcoming, and I’ve had no issues until recently.
Lately, I’ve noticed a shift in how the workout areas are being managed. Some instructors have started taking over sections of the gym even when members are actively using the space.
It feels as though customer workouts are being disrupted or pushed aside to make room for training sessions, with little regard for those already exercising.
Several members, including myself, have brought this up with the trainees and staff, but the responses have often come off as presumptuous and entitled, as if their sessions automatically take precedence over paying members’ use of the facility.
I understand the importance of training, but it should not come at the expense of members access to equipment and space.
I hope this concern is addressed so the gym can continue being a positive and respectful environment for everyone.

Started out as a nice gym. Now the only upside is that it is one of the few gyms who have 24/7 access since the plandemic.
After a while, it quickly became over-crowded with equipment always broken. With that came extended wait times as they have minimal personnel to repair such equipment. I've watched many machines being down for a week or more.
Bathrooms are always filthy, and the cleaning stations throughout often run out of paper towels.
Cancelation is the biggest problem. I have moved out of the area over 3 hours away, yet I'm expected to drive all the way over there to cancel my month-to-month membership, which was advertised to be hassle-free. To top it off, I was never informed of a 30-day cancelation notice "required per policy." Although, I was given another option, unclear if I still MUST return to the location, to notify via "certified mail" that I would like to cancel.
I said screw it. All future charges from this franchise have been blocked by my card providers. It seems as though they care more about making money, unsurprisingly as a franchised business, than they do about any individual customer. It's no wonder why more and more people are ditching these chain gyms for the smaller, more independent ones.

Good gym, I travel and visit multiple locations and equipment is always kept up. Plenty of squat racks and benches. If you travel and need a gym with multiple locations this is your best option in my opinion.

They make canceling your membership so hard and keep charging you as long as they possibly can.
I called the club in May regarding my membership cancellation and was referred to the website to initiate the cancellation.
Did that, and emailed the club directly.
Phillip Terpening (management) emailed back on May 17th stating I would need to stop by the club to cancel.
I answered and let him know I am not able to come by the club.
Fast forward to the end of June and I get charged $99.41 for my yearly fees.
I called the club stating that I have requested this cancellation well over a month ago, and as of right now they finally cancelled my membership. However they will not refund my yearly dues, even though I requested this cancellation in EARLY MAY.
They only care about retained memberships for bonuses and make it hard for you to cancel.

The management is unresponsive and does not care. I tried to speak to Phillip multiple times regarding non payment for work done at this gym and all I got was nothing back. Finally I get a call from his boss (Spencer) asking me to stop harassing his employees. Didn't know asking for a call back was harassment. Now I have to file a lien for $1650.00 because they just don't want to deal with it and don't want to pay for it.
Update: After speaking to John I decided it was unfair to leave them with a bad review. He discussed this with me and made the simple few phone calls I needed him to make to try and rectify the situation. I still have the problem but all I wanted was to speak to someone with some authority and a small gesture in the right direction. Thank you John!

The facility is good the staff leaves a lot to be desired. The system stored a payment method I deleted when I changed payment accounts. The system flagged me as I scanned in and the attendant at the desk stopped me. She looked at the account and saw that it was paid but stated I needed to give them a secondary payment method to keep on file. I've been there for 3 years and have only ever kept 1 payment method on file to which the attendant told me I was wrong that she'd been there 5 years and it had always required 2. Pretty funny since this is the first time I've seen her in 3 years. There was no alert no text no email that the payment didn't process because it had. The only time it was declined I got notifications which prompted me to update the method and delete the cancelled card. So why now are 2 payment methods being required? I asked this question and stated that if they can't properly manage one payment method then they aren't getting a second and if that couldn't be arranged then cancel my membership to which she stated there was a cancellation fee which again there is not. Month to month members can cancel but they take the next month's payment before the automated processing stops. The focus is on the money not the members. Not the first time I had a question that management was apathetic to. 2 stars because the facility is well kept and has tons of options but management and staff kill an otherwise nice facility.

It was good until it wasn’t. I had signed up and was told that after 2 months I would be charged an annual and monthly fee so $100. After a month and a half I realized it was hard to get into a class. I only signed up for their hot yoga classes. Classes were great but very limited and did not work with my work schedule. Had to wait a week before i could sign up for another class if i remembered to set my alarm so i wouldn’t miss out. Disappointed. I went to cancel and was told I STILL had to pay the annual and monthly fee. I’m okay with one or the other but BOTH?? I am so mad. I have never had to PAY TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP.

The staff at this gym is the best I’ve ever seen and witnessed and I belong to LA Fitness as well, have been to other gyms too, but they don’t leave a smile on my face like the staff at Crunch League City does. I keep trying to remember all the names so I can give them a proper shoutout but Johny, Shelby, Heather, Jennifer…. Every single staff member I’ve met has been so sweet and kind and even in these months post surgery where Im taking it easy and just using other amenities, they are just nice and welcoming as all get out! I love the way they take care of their trainees as well and foster such a great work environment. If they had a pool, I would have already cancelled my LA membership, but I look forward every week to getting to see them and I would recommend this place 100/10 for anyone who wants a friendly gym with amazing front desk service. Gym is a nice facility. But when it came time to cancel such an awful experience. Went into the gym after being charged for months not using it. Paid some fees, told it was canceled. Got another notification they were trying to bill me after I canceled. Called to cancel, had to pay additional fees. Told it was canceled. Online still showing active. Literally go anywhere else or use Wellhub instead of going through crunch. So dishonest and unfortunate I have to pull teeth to cancel my membership. I want nothing to do with his gym anymore.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Crunch Fitness. I was told over the phone that they found my rings and even described them to me in detail. However, when I went to the gym the next day, they completely denied having them and have been giving me conflicting information ever since. Even the girl who found them when I went on friday said that she gave them to Tyson the girl who found them also works there but was tanning right after I had left my rings on Thursday. They also promised to call me back three times and never did. This back-and-forth lying is unacceptable. After being a loyal member for years, I will never attend this gym again. Their customer service is terrible and they clearly do not care about their members.

My favorite part about this gym is that every time I want to use child care, I do not feel safe leaving my small child in a room with 30+ other kids of different ages with ONE worker.
Fix this Phillip, I have multiple pictures of this, and it’s not legal. You have lost multiple child care workers because of this. I will be bringing this up to the county with proof. It’s not fair we pay for membership and can’t even use it because you won’t do what you need to do as a manger to provide a safe child care environment.

Gym is good and has nice equipment. Wayyyy too crowded inside the gym for the amount of equipment and people that go. It is also a joke for having such a small bathroom and such a large gym. And to top it off there is a rule in the contract that states you have to go to the gym to cancel your membership, or send a certified letter in the mail. We have online account protected by passwords if I want to cancel my membership I should be able to. It's just an easy way for this franchise to keep ur money.

Gym is alright, but the management is trash. They nickel and dime you with everything and are not up front with it whatsoever. They charge you an extra month of membership when you try to cancel, they charge you when you freeze your account, and they charge you when you change your membership plan. They also force you to make any changes in person, which they also forget to include when discussing with you when you sign up. The staff are helpful enough but are handcuffed by their horrible policies. Tried multiple times to reach out directly to management but got no response whatsoever.

I wish I could leave two reviews (while I was there it was wonderful but leaving/canceling was a nightmare). I did do it the right way and canceled in person however my membership fees continued to pull out of my account. I did not notice this at first due to a number of reasons and I was preoccupied. Once I realized the error(s); I contacted them by phone three times and even talked to the manager twice after doing the email requirement. No results. I went through my bank and had to change my debit card to finally quit the charges. I was told that “gyms are like this” according to the bank. (Not entirely true as 24 Hour Fitness moved out of our area and I was able to leave them with no problem.)
I did get some of the funds back but not all. This was due to the bank’s efforts. Honestly, I gave up trying with Crunch Fitness. I figure a couple hundred dollars are still unaccounted for. Plus I had to change all of my other accounts tied to the original debit card number.
It shouldn’t be this hard to cancel. They have contacted me several times to rejoin the gym but I hesitate to do so due to the poor cancellation process.
I would give two types of reviews- 5 stars during the time I was there and 0 stars for the cancellation policy. Hence the rate of a 2 star rating.

Horrible experience with the manager named Melinia at the front desk today (not sure if this is her name but it is something close to that) I recently signed up and asked my wife and my daughter to go check out his new gym. Upon arrival, the gentleman at the front desk advised him he can only have 1 guest with his membership. I asked if he can do a 3day guest pass for one of us and he said no, and instead kept pressuring Me to sign them up. I then asked to talk to the manager (who was standing there the whole time) and she reluctantly came to us and asked whats going on. I asked the same thing and she said no, and insisted I just sign my family up. I asked, why cant i just do a guess pass for one of them and the 3 day pass of the other its both their first time? She said day pass is $25 and would require a tour. I had told her that the promotion said but its free online & i had used one (3 day pass) before signing up my self . I then told her I didn’t have much time only 45min before I had to leave to work could we just use guest passes, and she said why should I? Then said she would do it if I left a 5 star review. I said ok, and started walking off to work out and she said no I have to see the review first , you have to do it now. At that point, my wife & myself were fed up, this service level doesn't deserve a 5 star review, so don't give it to her. Lets go.
That woman never acknowledged my wife or my daughter, never said hello, or took the moment to welcome them. She was too busy being confrontational with myself & pushing me to just sign them up. My wife called her after we left (& went to LA fitness to work out with no problem) and told her she made my wife & my daughter feel so uncomfortable and someone in her role should be better at de-escalating and offering alternate solutions to meet customer expectations. My wife being a Customer Service Supervisor at a chemical plant would NEVER treat a customer the way she did. Quite the opposite. Please get someone with the people skills, problem resolution skills & a positive attitude to provide the level of service your members deserve. I will be cancelling the member ship I just signed up for 3days ago and I or my family will never step foot in this gym again.

This has been my gym for about 6 years. Unfortunately a couple of years ago they went crazy signing people up for memberships, and despite the expansion, the gym is way too busy to enjoy or even get a decent workout in. Due to that, I recently cancelled my membership, which you can only do in person by the way, and then was interrogated on why I was canceling my membership, and was suggested by the front desk employee to simply come at a different time if I don’t like a busy gym, if only life were so simple, very unprofessional and I will not regret never coming here again.

This is a HUGE gym. It has everything you could ever want, tons of heavy bags, tons of power racks, and tons of classes. I love it because even when it's busy busy you can still usually find a spot for whatever you're hitting that day.
The RnR section is always clean and usually has an open spot for whatever I want.
I want to give a huge shout out to the cleaning staff here. They are THOROUGH and I love to watch them, they take pride in their work and clean every inch of whatever machine they are taking care of. They are so valuable and I want to keep coming back here because of the care they put into this place. They also make sure the bathrooms are clean enough to eat off
Parking is usually okay I've never had an issue finding a spot.

THEY LIE! The manager, Milian, told me the first time I toured the gym that I would have "one month free" to try the gym, and she told me the exact day that would be the cutoff when I could cancel and not be charged. The very next day I went in to cancel the "free trial month" and she told me I would be billed for a whole month. I asked her "what about the "free month?" She said "I know why you would think that, but that's not the case."
They will tell you anything to get you to sign up for "special promotions" and a "trial membership", and when you tell them you want to cancel they will charge you for a whole month, EVEN IF YOU JUST HAD THE TRIAL FOR ONE DAY. The staff and company ARE DISGUSTING! There's a reason they want 2 forms of payment and your bank account and routing number. They are planning to rob you! Milian will lie to your face without shame, so they made her the manager.
I've been a member at 24 Hour Fitness, Lifetime Fitness, Planet Fitness, and I recommend them all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CRUNCH FITNESS! They are literally despicable. I hope this review helps someone avoid the mistake I made.

Where do I start? Greeted when you come in and leave. The team and MANAGERS constantly clean the gym. Trainers are great. Community respects the gym as well. Dumbbell rack is amazing. Sauna is great. Rest and recovery is awesome. The hydro massage is a great prewarm up to a workout. I’ve been to quite a few gyms and just want to say that this one is managed quite well to get their team on board with maintaining the standard.
Few downsides are the number of urinals and stalls in the men’s bathroom and the occasional big crowd but that’s anywhere.
Pricing is perfect as well for everything you get.

Very disappointed with the level of professionalism at Crunch Fitness. I came in person, and told them to do the cancelation for my membership. I even called them and they said they can't cancel over the phone, and they will leave a note for their manager to call me back.
Well, they never called and the issue remains unresolved. Their lack of communication is terrible, and it feels like they are deliberately making it difficult for customers to leave including membership cancelation.
If you're considering a membership with Crunch Fitness, beware of their unhelpful staff and unclear policies. Customer service should be about supporting members, not crating obstacles. I cannot recommend this gym to anyone based on my experience.

PLEASE READ BEFORE ATTENDING THIS GYM! The employees at this Crunch do not let anyone know that the lockers are robbed CONSTANTLY at this gym. If you're looking to have your locker lock cut and your wallet, expensive personal items, etc. stolen while you're working out, go to this gym. It's a weekly problem there. We had over $2,000 robbed from us in our locker, money and items included. It's shameful they don't at least post there in the lockers so people can make their own choices- whether they want to be robbed or not. Disgusting.

Absolutely love this gym! Everyone's nice and clean, machines are working 99% of the time and they don't take forever to fix the ones that go down. Even when it's busy it doesn't feel like it because there are so many machines. Haven't done the classes yet but I enjoy the app. I'm not big on going when it's packed and it tells you what the capacity is looking like throughout the day. Definitely should join. Also my son loved the play area and I was worried because he's never been to daycare but he had a blast.

It has been about a year since cancellation and they continue to charge our card. Not even sure how they have access considering we cancelled/changed numbers. They took down my original review as well.
I have a heart condition and had to cancel. They have consistently lied saying we won't be charged yet still continue after we have paperwork clarifying/confirming cancellation. DO NOT sign up with them.
Edit update:: Went to Crunch Fitness and finally made some headway. Someone on their team is making fraudulent accounts using member information. It does not pull up when looking up my account and only showed after calling a different line to do further research with the manager standing there (he was able to get through on their line). When asking who did it, he was unable to tell me. If you have an account with Crunch Fitness, I'd advise you check to see if any other accounts have been opened. The fraudulent account used my photo, a completely different birthday and name, and my husband's card information. Supposedly it was done online but the date that I cancelled was around the same time the fraudulent account was opened.
While the current issue of the refund has been handled, the lack of accountability for who created the fraudulent account remains an issue.

I love this crunch and it is by far the best one I've been too. It’s very clean. I signed up for the top membership so I can do classes. I hurt my foot a couple months ago, so I have been very thankful for Taylors Thursday hot pilates class as I dont have to be on my feet in that class and am still able to workout. There used to be a Tuesday pilates class with Taylor that gotten taken off the schedule. I want it back please!!! The Thursday one is very full and sometimes I don’t get a spot even though I try to sign up on the app right when the class opens. Thursdays hot Pilates with Taylor is a hot commodity! Love this place. No judgement is right. Go in and do your thing. They have a ton of different machines, lots of squat racks, tons of free weights and benches and a couple turf areas for stretching and other exercises. In the R&R area (m only available at the mid and upper tier membership) they have hydromassage which feels great after a workout. They also have red light therapy and spray and UV tanning.
It gets very busy after work. My biggest complaint is that they don't have enough leg machines and there is always a long wait. I almost never can get into those machines.
I used a personal trainer for 8 months and he was really great at teaching me what to do and how to do the exercises. Great motivation to do my workouts.

I've been a loyal member of this gym for almost a year and have always had a great experience. In fact, I've recommended it to friends, and two of them signed up for memberships based on my recommendation.
However, my most recent visit left me disappointed. I brought another friend with me who had already signed up for a free trial pass. Upon arrival, a woman at the front desk insisted on giving my friend a tour before allowing her to use the equipment. While my friend didn’t mind, the staff member's attitude was unnecessarily rude. She didn’t smile, came off as dismissive, and made my friend feel unwelcome.
Thankfully, another staff member—a red-haired woman—gave the actual tour, and she was the complete opposite. She was friendly, warm, and enthusiastic, making the experience much more positive.
While I’ve enjoyed the gym in the past, this experience has made me reconsider both my membership and whether I will continue to recommend it to others. I hope this was just an off day, but customer service is a huge part of what makes a gym feel welcoming.

The cancellation process is a nightmare. This gym is a scam, will say your account is canceled and make you attempt to cancel it a second time. Do not ever give them your bank account info or you will continue to be charged. On top of that when told you’re canceling an account they’re rude both on the phone and in person, and when told that my account should ready be cancelled all you get is a “too bad” and more attitude. All I can do is dispute the charges and hope other don’t make the same mistake.

Incredible gym. I come in morning noon and night and each time I’m greeted kindly. The staff know my name and chit chat, every issue I’ve had has been taken care of immediately and with a smile. If you’re contemplating joining, just do it. Come take your tour with Shelby or Taylor! They really know crunch like the back of their hand. Every in counter I’ve had with these ladies had been nothing but wonderful, they bend over backwards for us and it makes you feel so important. Between the front desk staff, the cleaning crew and the trainers, everyone works together to keep the entire gym sparking clean and leading with a smile.

Seems to have a good range of different workout equipment for lifting and cardio. Took off 2 stars because of the terrible customer service. I went to the front desk to ask if I could use the InBody scanner as it was free last year. The chick stared blankly at me and said “it’s X dollars.” No smile, no explanation, nothing. I ask again to confirm, and she doesn’t expand at all.
Terrible experience with her. If you’re in customer service, learn to not be a misanthrope.

We asked for a cancelation for our membership. Was told the same thing everyone is when you signed up. That you have to give a 30 day notice and you will be charged for your final month. Since our membership was about to renew we canceled on our renewal date to make things easier. We were told that, was the last payment that was due and that we had 30 days to enjoy the gym. My family goes to the gym 12 days later and are denied access because there membership is canceled. 12 days and 30 days are a big difference. My family was told that if they wanted in they would have to resign up and pay for a new membership. Now remember I have already paid for our membership. So, I nicely call the gym and ask to speak with the manager. The manager picks up the phone and I nicely explained what had occurred and asked why that happened. She told me that our membership was canceled and we would have to pay and sign back up to use the gym. So, I read her the email and explained to her that I already have paid so why would I pay again. After a few minutes of very vulgar language she hung up on me. So, giving her the benefit of the doubt I called back. I told her that we must have been disconnected. She said no I hung up on you. I thought that you were just as stupid as everyone else is and not be smart enough to call back. Then I was told they don't have time to deal with people like me. So I asked for the owners information and she hung up again. So, I highly recommend that everyone use any gym anywhere except Crunch Fitness. It was the League City gym. FYI. It would only let me post if I gave them a 1 star. But just know that they deserve a 0 star.

You're gonna have to find a different gym for leg days. Leg machines are a distant afterthought at this location. Added: 8th visit, still have not managed to get on one of the two leg extension machines.

Great gym. Friendly staff and they do a marvelous job of keeping the place clean.
They need to get on to the landlord though - he is doing a terrible job of policing the parking lot. I suggest all of the tenants get together and address that with the property owner. I’ve seen the same trash in the parking lot for several months now.

This place scammed me. I signed up for a 2 week trial period for one cent. I was assured I wouldn’t be charged any monthly rate until after this ended. I was required to go in person to cancel, and when I went before the 2 weeks ended, I was told it was in my signed contract that I must give one months notice before canceling. I was charged the $40 to pay for one month that I will not be using. One would assume that a payed for trial period would put them outside the one month cancelation rule, but you have to pay $40 no matter what you do if you sign anything.

I absolutely love this gym, everyone from the front desk to the trainers are super nice and professional. Ive been to a lot of gyms, this one I can comfortably call the best gym where I feel amazing and happy to workout. They have saunas, red light therapy, lots of weights, benches etc. Their trainers are good too, if only i can afford to hire them permanently I definitely would.

Biggest problem - men in the women's restroom, read to the end. I have been a member of this gym since it opened... have taken many classes and dealt with the flux of folks during holidays, summer breaks and etc, and been through the expansion which was a pain but makes more room for the HIIT area to do own thing which frees up other areas and the additional squat racks and etc, a bonus.. Yes, it is REALLY busy during certain peak hours and I'm so glad I don't have to do that as I likely would find another gym. However, I go around 630am as I work for myself and create my own workout now. I love the ladies at the front, Shelbi and Linda. When they aren't there, the welcoming committee, doesn't exist... and I've seen it happen. They are the main reason for the stars. The classes were almost always late, sometimes the weights are a hot mess and stuff all over the place, PT missing, cleaning crews transient and I get it as folks don't WANT to work. But 2 HUGE issues for me - 1 - missing BOTH news networks on TV irritates me. A gym should be a gym, if you offer one side of politics, offer the other. and the other.. why in the heck are men allowed in the women's restrooms? I will NOT use the restroom as I don't want some man dressed in pink to be using the same restroom as me... sorry, not sorry. I surely hope there aren't older or much younger ladies changing when this man comes into the restroom, let alone children or teens working out with their parents or hanging with their friends (which is annoying as well, this is a gym, not a hangout) Men belong in the men's bathroom, women belong in the ladies room. Period. Unacceptable

The classes here are so disorganized it almost makes me want to cancel my membership. Me and my mom booked a yoga body sculpt class, since we never experienced it before. When we arrived, we noticed many women entering without a check-in or anything. It was clear they didn’t book the class. So, when me and my mom attempted to walk in as we BOOKED the class, the instructor PATY denied our entrance and closed the door on our faces. There was no “sorry” or nice words, she just didn’t care. Having our mats and equipment ready, it was heartbreaking having to watch people who clearly didn’t sign in to the class take our places. If this is the case, why did I make the time to book the class beforehand? Should I have just rushed in like all the people? To prove this, on the website, it said that the class still had spots. This just shows those people didn’t book anything. Truly, they should fix this and make it more organized. If you’re thinking of booking a membership or let alone a class, please consider your options and class instructors.
*FYI to the gym manager possibly reading this, if your reply will be generic and automatically written by the computer like all your other one’s please don’t bother replying at all given how nothing will most likely be done. I simply wish to inform others before they make the same mistake I did*

They keep charging my credit card after I cancel it!!! Don’t ever sign up with them. They make it extremely hard to cancel and only if the manager is there! It’s been a couple month and they haven’t cancelled it yet!!

Today I had a very bad experience with a customer service staff, specifically with Taylor, it was around 10:30 a.m. She said she was the most disappointing manager, even though she should set an example of how to treat customers. She was the worst. Seriously, what a disappointment, I wanted her to teach me how to use some machines and she completely ignored me, she acted like she didn't understand me, she turned her back on me and started checking her phone as if I didn't exist, maybe because I don't sound like Ella when speaking English. Or I didn't look white if I felt very discriminated against. At that moment a worker passed by and I asked the same thing as Taylor if she could help me with the machines and she was very kind and able to help me. I explained to her what happened with Taylor. She felt more ashamed than the Taylor herself for her behavior and apologized to me and even more disappointment for me because I started to read some comments since I had never done it and I realized that this is not the first time that this has happened in this same customer service area. I hope that If you would take these complaints seriously because firstly thanks to us you have a job and a salary and at least we deserve respect 😞
NOTE I asked her to send me to her boss to file a complaint and she repeated to me that she was the boss and she left, rather she ran away, lack of respect ☹️

Hoy tuve una na muy mala experiencia con un personal de atención al cliente específicamente con Taylor fue como a las 10:30 a.m dijo que era la mánager mas decepción aun si ella que debe de dar el ejemplo como tratar a los clientes fue la peor En serio que decepción quería que me enseñara a usar unas máquinas y me ignoro completamente se hacía como que no me entendía me dio la espalda y se puso a estar checando su teléfono como si yo no existiera tal vez porque no sueno como Ella al hablar el inglés o no me miro blanca si me sentí muy discriminada en ese momento paso una entrabadora y pregunté lo mismo que a Taylor si me podía ayudar con las máquinas y ella muy amable me pudo ayudar le expliqué lo que paso con Taylor ella sintió mas vergüenza que la misma Taylor por su comportamiento y me pidió disculpas y Mas decepción aún para mi porque me puse a leer algunos comentarios ya que nunca lo había echo y me di cuenta que no es la primera ves que pasa esto en esta misma área atención al cliente espero que si tomaran en serio estas quejas porque primero gracias a nosotros ustedes tienen un trabajo y un salario y mínimo merecemos respeto 😞
NOTA le pedi que me pasará con su jefe para poner una queja y me repitió que ella era la jefa y se fue mejor dicho se escapo que falta de respeto ☹️

Every time kyle has been here my workout has been amazing, hes very kind and helpful, also very knowledgeable and whenever i see him he is always working and keeping himself busy, never waisting time. Im sure other employees may exhibit these qualities but kyle is definitely the goat and a model employee.

Tried this gym out twice. Horrible experiences both times. Costumer service is horrible, they will have people call you over and over again in the middle of a natural disaster harassing you about a payment that’s a few days late. Find a place that’s more humane.
