However, I am from the San Antonio gym & i have the top teir program with SA gym that allows me to go to any other Crunch gym & use their facilities. I checked into the Plano location & told the young man that i would like to tan & he said oooh sorry you do have the program that allows for tanning. I did explain to him that I do in SA & he proceeded to pull out a pric8ng shè5 for Plano's gym. He told me that he apologized for the misunderstanding & that i could tan this time.

Went to the gym last night with my friend. The lady in the photo (Alex i believe) had horrible customer service. Was moody and rude. Thought about joining the gym when it opens in Rowlett in a few days, but she’s the reason I won’t join at all. Did not even smile once, felt so forced to make me get the membership just to go get the massage with my friend. A simple “I can’t let you do that, sorry” would have been enough without all that attitude she had.

This gym is nasty and some of the staff are unprofessional. I thought it would pass, but as the months go by, it’s getting worse and worse. The ladies' locker room is always a mess and I literally witnessed someone come in/out of the restroom to find her belongings stolen that quickly. This location has to do better and fix their shit

This is a great gym. My wife and I love crunch fitness both locations.
But the music sucks no adult wants to hear rap.
It says the GM is named Matt. As a nightclub owner myself. I don't allow rap in my club. It has not hurt my business at all. Hopefully Matt you take attention to this issue thank you.

Julie or Julia at the front desk was so disrespectful when I called in for an issue. The first time I called, she couldn’t hear me hung up the phone so I called back. Whenever I called back she act like she didn’t hear me the second time and hung up the phone. Then she continuously hung the phone up in my face while I was trying to call back. This was 10/16/25 I even star 67 just so she wouldn’t know who was calling and she still was hanging up the phone in my face. I’ve never gotten this type of treatment at the gym, but that was so disrespectful. This kind of person shouldn’t be working in an establishment if they don’t want to help people do better front desk.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this gym. Been going here for a few months and it's fairly clean, organized, and safe. Front desk is usually welcoming; hit or miss with the night crew. And I do wish weekend hours were longer.

While I appreciate Crunch working/partnering with different organizations -- like non-profits -- I definitely don't appreciate those orgs setting up tables right at the entrance/exit and being hassled for monetary donations after I just busted my ass working out for over an hour. I'm exhausted and sweaty and now someone wants to ask me for money? Come on man, let me work out and leave in peace.

When I was 16, I was approached by a representative at Walmart who persuaded me to sign up for a membership at Crunch Fitness in Plano, Texas. I explicitly told the employee that I was underage and at the time I did not have a parent or guardian present. Per Crunch Fitness’s own membership guidelines, a minor cannot sign up for a membership without a parent or guardian’s consent—yet the employee proceeded to manually change my date of birth in the system to make it appear that I was of age. I was unaware that any charges were being made under my name until I received an email on May 1, 2025, from First Credit Services, informing me that I owed a debt to Crunch Fitness. This came as a shock, as I had never returned to the gym after that initial encounter and had no knowledge of any active account or accumulating debt.Following that notice, I began receiving repeated and harassing phone calls from the debt collectors, which continue to this day. These calls have been extremely disruptive and anxiety-inducing, especially as I am now an 18-year-old first-year college student trying to manage the stresses of school and early adulthood. After receiving the debt notice, I immediately contacted Crunch Fitness. I spoke with a representative named Steven, who confirmed that I had been a minor at the time of signing and acknowledged that a parent or guardian’s presence was required for a valid contract. He assured me that this was a mistake on the company’s part and that he would escalate the issue to corporate for resolution.Shortly thereafter, I received two documents from Crunch Fitness:

A Refund/Credit Form labeled “minor at the time,” and

A Membership Cancellation Form also marked “minor” in its description.
However, despite these acknowledgments, the issue remains unresolved. I have continued to receive collection calls from First Credit Services, and my repeated follow-ups to the gym have been met with indifference or dismissal. In September 2025, after reaching out to Steven again to check on the status of the resolution, I received another Refund/Credit Form from him, again acknowledging that I was a minor at the time of the original membership signup. I have also attached this most recent form for your reference. In a later attempt, my mother called on my behalf, only to be told by an employee named Ryan McCoy, “Yeah, I hear what you’re saying, but it holds no merit to me,” and the manager she spoke with was equally dismissive.
As a young adult who was manipulated into signing a contract as a minor, I am deeply concerned about how this could affect my credit before I have even had the opportunity to begin my adult life. I did not understand the implications of an employee altering my date of birth at the time, and now I am left dealing with the consequences of their unethical actions.Once again, per Crunch Fitness’s own guidelines, a minor cannot legally sign up for a membership without a parent or guardian present.
