Friendly and helpful staff, clean facility. Plenty of parking spaces. Lots of cardio machines so I haven't had to wait to use them. I haven't even utilized half of the amenities but so far I am very satisfied.

This would have been a 5-star rating; however, I am reducing it to 4 due to the lack of professionalism I experienced. I do not appreciate being addressed in a manner that feels condescending. When speaking to a gym member, a basic greeting such as “hello,” along with a polite “please,” is standard courtesy. To my recollection, this particular staff member has never greeted me before. She approached me only to question whether I had taken equipment from the Zumba room and instructed me to return it. While she did say “thank you” at the end, the overall tone was unnecessarily demanding. I am an adult and expect to be treated accordingly. I believe her name is Liz; she was wearing a black polo shirt that day.
On the other hand, the rest of the staff at this location consistently demonstrate exceptional professionalism and create a welcoming environment. I am always greeted individually, and it is evident that they take pride in their work. I know one of them is named Brooke—I expressed my appreciation to her directly on a particularly difficult day, and her kindness stood out. The other two employees, whose names I do not know, are equally commendable: one has dark blonde/brown hair with pink ends, and the other has burgundy hair and typically wears a headband. Having worked in customer service for many years, I quickly recognize genuine professionalism, and these three employees exemplify it. They absolutely deserve recognition—and a raise.

When comes to an agreement of membership charges it should be in agreement. No one should have to be charged extra charges or fees and then be told it was a glitch or a mistake. This is one reason why I dislike corporate gyms such as crunch do to this. If the membership is 35 a month it should be 35 dollars a month and not be charged 100$ a month.

The opening of this gym was clearly rushed,No women’s bathroom for months is not convenient whatsoever. I went in to downgrade my plan and when I asked about the 40 dollar fee to downgrade, a manager could not explain what is included or why it is charged. The response was “it is just a fee we charge to downgrade, we are not waiving it at this time” If you are going to charge a fee I would hope you would know how to explain to customer, I was not asking for it to be waived I just wanted to be informed on it. I think it is a justified question as my membership itself cost ten dollars less than the fee.The women that helped me was very kind though.

Honestly, super disappointed with this gym. I signed up to go before work and be able to take a shower. I was able to go 3 times when they closed the showers for repairs. I didn't go for a while because it wasn't convenient when I went back, I was taking a shower when the water started backing up (not clean water, smelled like sewer). I decided to cancel my membership, but they’re trying to charge me for two full months anyway and an annual membership. How is that fair when you have a porta potty outside your installation for women to use? Members deserve better. I spoke with a manager, Shawn very rude, and the conversation got nowhere.

They sold entirely way too many memberships people are practically on top of each other, you can’t even use the machines because as soon as someone gets off of one someone immediately gets on it. It’s a subpar experience at best it definitely gives low vibrational with the extremely large amount of people in there all the time, you will probably have to go at 1am or 2am to workout comfortably without having to mortal combat for a machine, utterly greedy and ridiculous to not cap the amount of memberships and it’s probably a fire hazard
They also sent a mass text saying they were passing out swag bags and it was a lie

Jessi helped me set up my silver sneaker account and log into the crunch app. She was very knowledgeable and understood everything I needed to know. Great job.

The location is perfect for me and I really love the Hot Pilates class! I do wish they offered more evening classes for Hot Pilates. There is only 2 classes a week for Hot Pilates after 5pm. Both days the classes get extremely full right away. Currently the bathrooms/locker rooms are closed which is really inconvenient especially if you need to change. The portable potty trailers outside are pretty small. They are not horrible though. Every time I have used the outside trailers they have always been clean. I really hope they get the bathrooms/lockers up and running soon. Really been wanting to use the sauna lately (which is located inside the locker room) but can’t due to the locker room being closed. I have to say the one time I did use the sauna it was not very hot. It was just “warm”

This Crunch Fitness sacrificed quality in order to open faster. Smallest rooms I've ever used in the history of big named gyms. There is no room to move without hitting other people during yoga or Zumba! Not to mention there isn't any correction if you're doing something wrong, which is a serious issue given my disabilities. You can also hear what's going on in other rooms while you're taking a class, no bueno! They care more about their own image, than if you're having a good experience. Bathrooms have never worked anytime I was there. Too many inconsistencies and lack of basic amenities. I think they ordered everything off off TEMU, including construction crew! TEMU Windcrest motto is to over promise and under deliver. So save your $$ and go somewhere else, what a joke.

The staff is really attentive and always super nice. Yeah the women's restroom is being worked on, but the temporary toilets outside aren't bad (always super clean and never smelly.) The bathroom thing is inconvenient, but it's out of their control and I feel like they make up for it with the cleanliness of the temporary restroom outside. The tanning, massage, and red light beds are always super clean. 10/10 recommend.

This is Florence Rios and I am a member of crunch. I am giving 5 stars because the gym is beautiful but there are two issues I want to address. The 1st one is the bathroom. I am a disabled veteran that has incontinence and 1/2 a colon so I might not be able to make it all the way out to the outside bathrooms. This alone is giving me a lot of anxiety. I am thankful that the staff lets me display my motivational signs.
The next issue is the handicap parking. In order to legally park in a handicap spot a vehicle must either have a ISSA wheel chair on the licse plate or a non expired placard in hanging or on the dashboard. Putting the placard backwards is a dead giveaway that the placard is probably expired. The holes punched on the side also tell the expiration date. If a vehicle has a DV plate they must have the wheelchair on it or have a handicap placard. The law changed two years ago when a DV plate could park in a handicap. Yesterday I had to park far away because 2 cars had DV plate and no placard and another one had the placard backwards. I know the employees are not cops but it is not fair to the handicapped people who are went through the process to get legal. The fine is $1200 for unauthorized parking in a handicapped spot. I use to enforce handicap violations in San Antonio and I am handicapped also. Please enforce or ask cops to do random checks. Thank you

I wanted to like this gym as it was close and I hoped to be able to jump between Windcrest and Woodlake for yoga classes since Woodlake doesn't really offer any that work for people with day jobs. After visiting a Crunch in Waukesha Wi last week, I hoped to find some of the same equipment for glutes that they offered. I did find one piece of equipment I was looking for, unfortunately it was broke. I moved on. When I went to wipe down the leg extension, I found a very overflowing garbage (9:30pm). It wasn't very busy. Makes me appreciate how tidy Woodlake always is. I then headed to the locker room to sit in the sauna. Im not sure if there is one or not, because the women's locker room is closed with a sign directing you to a portable outside on the far end of the building. It seems this location is quite the shit show. More than a few kinks to workout.

Fix the womens restrooms please. The place just opened not too long ago and the sauna has already been out of order a few times and now the womens restrooms are located outside the building. The sinks had also been blocked so we couldn't use them until they decided to move the yellow tape farther in (closer to just the toilets). It's just been an inconvenience. Will have to start going back to a different location again.

I like this gym and it's very clean/ organized. However, for a new gym, the women's restrooms should have been restored by now. Theyve been down for weeks... Why am I paying for an exclusive membership if i can't even have a simple amenity like using the restroom? Other than that, good gym.

I hope you don't have to use the restroom unless you love porta potties because that's where you're going. 🤢🤮

It is ridiculous not to have working toilets in the female dressing rooms for several weeks after they have opened. They asked you to use the kids' restroom, but the room was locked this morning, and Taylor reported that she couldn't leave the front desk. She asked me to go outside at 5:00 am to use the porta-potty. Sean, I don't know if this is even in compliance with business regulations or just not part of your priority, as you don't use the female restroom.

Womens bathroom/showers have been closed for a week now, leaving us women to use portapotties outside in texas heat. Not acceptable for such a basic "amenity" to be down so long

First impression: super spacious, new/well maintained equipment/machines and the friendliest staff!!
Jessi was superb with updating my membership with re-connecting it back with my health insurance 🙂
The kids club is ACTUALLY clean. Mom approved. They even have movie theater type seats for the tv section for the little ones, 2 Nintendo switches, 3 tablets and room for them to run around with their gym buddies 👾
Plenty of squat racks, benches and stair masters. They even have my favorite cardio machine: the assault treadmill (iykyk. great for improving one’s run time > I’m looking at you for those who are in the military), which is EXTREMELY hard to find at a gym like Crunch
Military friendly: has a hex bar, sleds, accepts USAA’s Active & Fit membership, and is open 24/7 🇺🇸
Overall, I’m quite impressed so much so that this will be my go-to gym from now on even though I will have to drive even further than my current gym; so worth it!! 😊

I was super excited about this gym. It's literally 5 minutes away from my place. So going all the way to San Pedro or Woodlake was a little bit inconvenient, and a drive. So this one is perfect. The only issue is it hasn't been even a month, and the girls toilets are not working? Not fun when you're drinking a bunch of water and pre-workout lol. That's the only disappointment, other than that everything else is great.

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Haven’t been signed up for a month and already want to back out because of the level of misinformation my husband and I have received from this gym. Basically, guests get zero perks here, they’re only allowed to use the gym equipment and access the relaxation room once. Only once!! And forget about accessing all the other rooms as well. The staff here kept their lips shut about this little detail until it was too late.
We’re trying to cancel but have been told the membership will be active until December so we’ll be billed twice for a membership we no longer want!! They even tried charging my husband an additional fee when he came in to cancel in person. What business does this? We won’t be coming back because this has been a ridiculous experience.
And we don’t want your email in response, we want corporate’s number.

Luis convinced me to sign up when I walked in today, he was very engaging with me and understood that only certain things in the gym appeal to me, he also had an employee learning with him by the name of Vince and Vince was very attentive and learning how to treat clients. I have high hopes for this gym location and the community that will establish themselves in here because of this customer service and atmosphere. Thank yall
