I was looking for a gym near me in Richmond. I emailed the owners, and right away they emailed back. First time I went the coaches were welcoming and helped me to get settled. The first day I was sold and joined. It’s been three months and I still enjoy being a new member. The energy and the people are great! I definitely recommend trying it out, and coaches can accommodate to anyone’s needs!

This gym hands down is great. The workouts are amazing and will get your strength built up. The coaches do a good job to ensure your doing the exercises correctly and will keep you safe. This gym also treats you as family and very welcoming. If your looking for a great crossfit gym and want to feel that you belong then this is the place for you.

I seriously love this gym so much! The classes are great, and everything can be modified. The price is more affordable than most gyms that offer this kind of group workouts. But the best part are the coaches and the gym community! I love you guys! ❤️

Love going to this gym, even at 5am… It’s a great community that pushes you to do better, but is supportive of where you’re at in your fitness journey. The coaches are great and will help you hit your goals by making sure you do the movements correctly as well as challenge yourself.

Love, love this gym. So much so, that even after I moved 30 minutes away I had to stick around and make the drive for 5am class😉. The workouts are always challenging enough that you’ll want to keep coming back for more. I enjoy that they really focus on hitting muscle groups for strength. It really has helped me and I’ve seen a lot of progress. I really enjoy the community and the coaches.

Love it! Love it! The workouts are intense an give you a full body workout. The are also personalized because you only use the weight that works for you. Never have I felt pressured to use more weight than I can and that is very important for me.

Great gym, coaches, and sense of community. Everyone will provide a warm welcome and cheers each other on to push through. The gym is clean and the workouts are in line with mainstream practices. Safety and technical training are addressed. Having been in gyms for over 20 years, I can say that I approve.

Daily Grynde has been an incredible gym to me. I am leaving now for my season, however throughout the past few months I have trained at Daily Grynde and it has been an amazing experience.
The coaches are top notch, dedicated, organized and have a great understanding of strength and conditioning. I can only say the best things about Daily Grynde, the people, the coaches, the facilities and the work outs. As an athlete it checked off all of the boxes!

Awesome gym and fantastic coaches that can modify exercises to your skill level. The members are friendly and encourage you as well. The space is big, clean with plenty of equipment. The bathrooms have showers if you need to get ready for work after a morning workout and they're always clean. I had zero knowledge of "crossfit" exercises prior to joining and the coaches have been great at teaching me at a pace and level that is comfortable for me. But if you're able to handle more challenging workouts they have that as well. There is something for everyone. Come check them out! Best decision you'll make!

Daily Grynde is an amazing gym! I started CrossFit earlier this year and I had been out of shape for nearly 2 years. The coaches here understood that & scaled workouts to my ability. "This place is amazing! This is not just a gym as everyone comes together. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging! Many people get intimidated when they hear “CrossFit” but this place knows how to make everyone feel welcome no matter their level of ability when they walk through the doors. A Runner’s Review
I joined Daily Grynde in order to achieve a PR for a 5k, 10k and half and eventually have the ability to run a 50k.
Before Daily Grynde I was having a difficult time staying motivated, my runs became stale, intervals were non exciting and I dreaded the long runs. I knew I needed to make a change so I started Googling and found this Box. What caught my attention was there website which stated that the focus is proper technique, Improving strength and improving metabolic conditioning.
The 1st day I attended a CrossFit class I had the privilege of meeting 1 of the 2 coaches who are also co owners of this establishment. Coach Reyes is a certified L2 trainer and a USAW coach. Both coaches emphasis on safety in regard to proper lifting, they listen and help you meet your goals and they are always seeking to help you become better.
Despite being out of my comfort zone the coaches and members were welcoming and supportive. After awhile you find yourself being part of a community that encourages healthy competition and teamwork.
What CrossFit accomplished in just two months was to build my level of strength at a high level of intensity. My goal is to PR for running but I’ve caught myself trying to PR in different lifts. You’re not only enduring the work out but attacking it. My core has improved immensely which helped with my running posture. I’ve also lost close to 10lbs without changing my diet and my legs have gained strength which has helped carry my weight when running. I can comfortably run longer and faster. I have reached my 10K PR during a long run day which was unexpected but welcomed. The workout also helped with increasing my lactate threshold, which will assist me at performing longer at my peak during race day.
Each workout I do I know I’m getting stronger, I’m getting faster, and I know I’ll be hitting new PRs in both running and lifting.

From the first time you step into this place you feel welcomed and loved! Started getting back into CrossFit this year & I love it more than I already did. The coaches are amazing and truly care for each of their members. They make sure you have the technique right for all the lifts and exercises & always keep safety as number 1 priority. Super clean environment! The members look out for one another and working out has become so much fun!

I joined DG almost a year ago (I had never lifted before) best decision ever. They are very focus on form and technique, they work very well with people who are just starting. I have to say with just one year, I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life. The coaches and athletes here are amazing and very welcome! I started working out at Daily Grynde about 7 months ago and it has been the best experience. The coaches have given me the confidence and security to lift and train without getting hurt. The gym is spacious, with great equipment, there’s a room for the children to hang out while you exercise and the people that come work out are all friendly, like family. I 100% recommend this gym to anyone.

I’ve been a member of DG for 11 months now. It is such a fun place to workout. The coaches are so friendly, humbled and most importantly knowledgeable. When I first started, I was partially new to the crossfit type moments and had poor technique. I can’t express how awesome the coaches at DG are. This whole time, they have taken the time, they focus on teaching me proper technique and don’t give up on me, until I get it right.
I usually go to the 5am class. Brittaney and Aaron are usually the 5am coaches. Class always starts on time, they are always smiling and ready to go. Not everyone is a morning person but they are.
When I do make it to a 4:30pm class Gerry and Aaron will greet you with a smile and then it’s time to get to work.
The gym, equipment and restrooms are always super clean.
Childcare is free. And the monthly membership fee is VERY affordable.
The gym members are friendly and welcoming. DG is very family oriented.
I highly recommend anyone and everyone to come check them out and jump in for a free “community workout” on Saturdays at 9am. Coach Al is usually there on Saturday mornings ready to make you sweat.

Daily Grynde has been a great gym, the coaches are experienced and attuned to what your needs maybe. My wife and I were looking for a gym after relocation to this area and this was the first and last stop. Everyone is friendly and very supportive. This is a great alternative to a CrossFit gym.

This place is AMAZING. If you are a crossfitter looking for a new box, this is your place. If you're a power lifter/olympic lifter looking for a good shop to set up, this is your place. If you are looking to change up your work out and try something new TRY THIS PLACE. The coaches are great, and everyone is SUPER friendly. You will never feel silly not knowing how to do something or excluded. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new place to lift at and had previously xfitted for a year and a half with a year break. I didn't want to participate in the WODs but wanted to general atmosphere of a gym that wasn't a big box gym. Aaron was very responsive and very open to just letting me come in and lift. The first time I stepped in the equipment was outstanding and clean. EVERY MEMBER came up to me and introduced themselves to me and said hello. THEY ARE ALL REALLY FRIENDLY. This place is GREAT. If you are looking for a fantastic place to work out you need to come here.

This is my box! I love everything about this place. The location, the equipment and the coaches. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and super supportive. I have never gotten the feeling that crossfit would be too hard for me. The second I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and an overwhelming sense of community.
