Decatur Gymnastics is absolutely wonderful! The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly care about each child’s growth—not just in gymnastics skills but also in confidence and discipline. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, and the classes are structured in a way that keeps kids engaged while still having fun. Communication with parents is excellent, and it really feels like a welcoming community. My child looks forward to every class and has grown so much since joining. Decatur Gymnastics is such a great place here in Decatur. Coach Cat and her staff are absolutely amazing and really work with and care about their students. The owner of Decatur Gymnastics is amazing and brings a top notch gymnastic background. My daughter is at a higher level of gymnastics than is offered currently but we come for private lessons. Coach Cat has been a crucial component to my daughter making it to state and regionals this competition season for Xcel & USAG. Decatur Gymnastics still has the same heart and soul it always has—now with even more opportunities for kids to grow and thrive. From all levels of gymnastics to Ninja Warriors, Kids’ Nights Out, birthday parties and summer camps, there’s something for everyone. They’ve even added Decatur Dance, expanding their offerings even more. It’s a safe, fun, and educational environment, and I truly appreciate how patient and knowledgeable the coaches are. We love Decatur Gymnastics. My daughter has been coming to here (formally University of Gymnastics) since she was two, now she does Tumbling and Cheer with Decatur Gymnastics and loves it. The coaches and staff are amazing and patient with the kids. My daughter just changed to tumbling about 3 weeks ago and already her skills have improved so much in those 3 weeks. The owner Cat is very involved and always has the answer to any questions we have. I highly recommend Decatur Gymnastics.

Wonderful place! My daughter is exceling in her acrobatic skills, as a dancer, with the instructors at DG! Cat has pushed her and guided her and in just 3 short lessons, (after a couple years of trying!), she landed her side aerial!!! The gym is clean and comfortable which is a perk to us parents.

Going to Decatur, gymnastics has given my daughter, consistent confidence and consistent improvements in her gymnastics skills. She used to not be able to do a cartwheel at all. Now she’s almost full-blown cartwheel used to She couldn’t do front flips over the bars now she can. We are ordering her a taller balance beam because she’s ready for it. really appreciate Decatur gymnastics and all the joy they add to my daughter’s life.

We have been at Decatur Gymnastics (previously University Gymnastics Decatur) for a good while now! I have seen my daughter grow in her strength, ability, and confidence! The coaches here are beyond amazing and love their little athletes so much! They even accommodated my daughter when she broke her arm (due to an unrelated fall), the coaches worked with her within her approved guidelines and made sure she didn’t fall behind! I am excited to continue to grow under the new ownership of Coach Cat! I cannot recommend Decatur Gymnastics enough!
