Welcome to Eisbär Strength & Fitness, the newest powerlifting gym in New Braunfels. Our facility offers 24/7 access to top-tier equipment in a supportive, community-driven environment.
Our gym is equipped with heavy duty equipment (mostly Rogue), free weights, and machines designed to meet the needs of serious lifters and fitness enthusiasts. Whether you're training for competition or working towards personal goals, you'll find the tools to push your limits.
We foster a culture of discipline, respect, and perseverance, ensuring every member feels empowered to grow stronger every day. We have a heavy military veteran/first responder member base and look to further that community.

My husband and I are powerlifters and we were traveling through the area and needed to find a good gym that has the equipment needed for training. Eisbar, a small but well crafted gym, really exceeded expectations, both with quality equipment and our experience with the owner, Shawn.
It was obvious to us that Shawn is dedicated to his strength gym, the lifters, and his community in general. We appreciated how easy it was to get day passes.
If you are a beginner lifter, you will feel comfortable and welcomed here. When we walked in, Shawn was training a group of women who have survived cancer, helping them embrace their power through strength training.
If you are a serious lifter, powerlifters especially, you will feel comfortable knowing you've got all the best equipment for the sport and calibrated plates, he also does coaching/training and is knowledgeable and friendly!
Wish we lived closer so we could make this our home gym, but we will absolutely be back if we travel nearby again!

I’m not a typical gym person, I assumed they were what I see online, over inflated muscles and egos with a side of judgement. I came here with a friend and I never left, it’s low-key, everybody goes about their business but will help when necessary. I love that I can go at any time and the Bluetooth is open to whoever wants to play their music. I appreciate that it’s a mom n pop, got to support that local community!
