I decided to try this gym even though it was too crowded for my liking. I like that they had a recovery room that had a lot of equipment I’ve been wanting to use like cryotherapy, red light therapy, massage etc I signed up for a personal trainer and after a day of trying out the gym I realized it was not for me. All the things I was sold on were extra additional costs. I didn’t like the terms of the contract and didn’t want to be trapped in a membership that seems cheap but would be a pain to get out of. So I emailed canceling my membership and I went to the gym to make sure it was done. A week later my card was charged again. Every single time I’ve been to the gym someone is complaining about a charge on their card. This is no way to do business. People would rather pay a higher fixed amount than be sold on the BS of “affordable” rates and be ripped off with additional charges

I just came her with my friend and I realized it's super crowded and most of machines are broken and no one from the management cares to fix it and toilets are always clogged and not clean , I mean it's getting worse than planet fitness and front desk girls are not welcoming at all if you ask them any questions they will feel like we are trying to hit on them ,so much bad vibes, it was good before not anymore

Aliana location needs to manage their group fitness body pump classes. No one monitors whom is actually registered for classes. Many people pay the basic $9.99 and come to class without registering- sneaking in and stealing a spot for a paying member. Classes are over full capacity and participants too spread out. There is a phenomenon of many benches set out and saved for “regulars” that is against the rules. I arrived 15 minutes early AGAIN for class and there were 6 spot open per the AP. Class was way over capacity which meant zero room for me who had properly registered, no equipment available, etc. I have the highest membership and attend 4-5 days a week, I go to multiple locations and only see these issues at Aliana. Unfortunately I had to leave again because there was no open space. No excuse to not enforce rules and monitor these classes. Over capacity is unsafe and someone is going to get hurt.

I have had a membership with EOS for about 3 months and I am a sauna girl for recovery. The sauna has been broken for the women for about 2pm this now. Also, I observe that different equipment is broken. Mind you this is a smaller gym than most location.

My issue is why does it take so long for EOS to have sauna fix and what are you doing to accommodate people who don’t pay extra for your recovery plans.

I contacted corporate and got no response. I left messages at the location and received no call back to discuss this matter. It’s very annoying and unprofessional to address this issue. I drive way to cypress location just to workout and take andvamtage of sauna. Disappointed customer of Richmond location

I decided trying to go to this gym because it was close from my workplace. The staffs were nice but except this instructor that teach STRONG class her name is VERONICA JOHNSON. I had a bad day because she was humiliated me during the class in front of people. I was totally new at her class so I had no idea about this instructor and her class. I just wanted to try out one of the classes from this gym right after my work but I didn't expect she would call me out and humiliated me in front of people because I was new and I didn't do workout in the right way and then she tried to compare me to other people even though she knew I was new as she kept pointing out my mistakes in front of the class. Y'all probably thinking she was trying to help and motivate me no, it was too harsh for me as the first timer at her class. She intimidated the new people I hate how she treated me. I felt like I was being bullied by her. I was feeling exhausted from working overtime at work and for some reason my body was shaking and then this is how she treated me on my first day! She didn't care how I was and didn't care if I was OK or not. I've never had this bad experience with other instructors just only with her!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO HER CLASS! I don't want to feel humiliated by her again!!

I regularly go the EOS Fitness location in Richmond Texas on Grand Parkway and I would like to thank Isabel S. for her pleasant and helpful attitude, each time greeting me with a bright smile and helpful attitude, Isabel motivating greeting motivates me to workout when I am not in the mood, and after my workout and my hands are full, she always come from behind the counter to open the doors to allow me to go out. Too much crowded they try to keep it clean as much as possible, but when you have 500 to 600 people working in the gym, it is pretty hard to maintain that.
Also, I am seeing there is absolutely no room left. Every corner is occupied with a machine or some sort of workout equipment.

They offer cheap memberships and aesthetically pleasing gyms but they seriously need to do a capacity limit check that’s how overly packed it gets. Also unprofessional front desk staff is such a turn off seeming you have to see them every time you go. I did not have a welcoming experience with front desk staff and they gave me a hard time about my address change. There’s a bunch of young ignorant kids here that work out

I only come here because it’s 5 min from my house but this gym is run by teenagers and if a machine breaks the solution is to put an out of order sign on it. As many due-paying members as this gym has I’m not sure why they can’t invest in a repair guy or service, I was told there is one repairman for all of the locations and he comes by once a week, but I have yet to see any actual repairs. This gym is hardly a year old but looks rundown and it’s a complete mess.

This gym has two distinct and desirable pros in the quality of equipment and 24 hours operations.

The cons are massive overcrowding almost daily from 6pm to 11pm as evidenced by the congestion inside and even outside in the parking lot. The paper towel dispensers by the equipment and even in the bathrooms, are frequently empty so not properly monitored by their contracted cleaning crew who would vacuum around whilst one is working out. This can be a bit off putting so service intervals need to be revisited with better attention and discretion!

Early workouts or after midnight are really when one can actually get a proper routine done but doing that is neither viable nor sustainable!

Perhaps, looking into another location in close proximity would help alleviate this issue especially with the fast increasing population growth in Richmond and environs.

The pace and magnitude of the plethora of apartments and subdivisions should justify such an investment or competitors would capitalize on the spillover!

Otherwise, a very good gym!

Excited to join this gym, I opened a membership online. Then I go into the gym to do my workout. On my way out of the door, one of the managers, Emilio R. Pause, stopped me saying I could benefit from a trainer to enhance my journey. I agreed and he spoke of the highlights. He gave his promo deal and I said ok. The thing is….he said, “ I HAVE TO create a new account. I’ll only charge you this minimal amount for the first month. “ I’m like, “Bet! I’m in”.
He says my other account will cancel.

Here’s the thing… none of it happened that way. My original account I created doing the Will Power EOS membership never canceled. They were trying to charge me for both.
So one Sunday before working, I asked the front desk for assistance and showed them my credit card charges. They were nice and said I needed a manager.
So after work 3 days later, I called the EOS Richmond location. Julia was the manager and she was not helpful! At first, she had an employee relay her messages to me rather than come to the phone. I thanked that young lady snd told her it wasn’t fair to her that Julia used her as a middle person. Told her she was doing a great job snd to please put that manager, Julia, on the phone.
Julia comes on the phone, and while I’m speaking, she says, “ whoa, your taking to fast …slow down 😳”. 🤦🏽‍♀️
I REPLIED, “ I’m not speaking fast, you keep up and you’re listening too slow! 😉
Seriously 🤷🏼‍♀️.
So I told Julia to cancel the contract Emilio Pause made because it’s a billing nightmare. And I want to keep my training and to place it on the original membership I created.
Julia said she can’t do that and that’s a higher up decision even though they were continually trying to charge me for 2 memberships.
I told her I wasn’t really asking! They created this mess and it’s unacceptable to tell me, the customer, I have to keep something their manager created under false pretenses.

She talked and said she would call back in 10 minutes. She never did.

I drove there 2 days later to speak with her in person. I met Chelsea. She was helpful and said, all they have to do is transfer the Personal Training ( PT) to my original membership I created.

It’s been a week. Today, EOS Richmond attempted to charge my card $300. My card company reached out and they are canceling the card and sending a new one.

I found out today Emilio Pause was promoted to General Manager. First, I commend anyone moving up and being recognized for quality work.
To EOS, after reading this review, you tell me how you hold your employees accountable. He’s now general manager and everyone is fixing his mess except Emilio Pause. I cannot recommend this place. Your customers are NOT your employees! Shame on you

The gym has become increasingly crowded, making it difficult to use the equipment or enjoy a comfortable workout. On top of that, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired—staff are not attentive or helpful, which makes the overall experience frustrating. EoS Gym has proven to be particularly challenging when it comes to canceling memberships. My son signed up with them, but after we relocated, he stopped attending. Despite this, they continued to charge us. When we reached out to cancel, they insisted that he must visit the original location in person to terminate the membership. Among all the gyms we've encountered, #EoS seems to be the most difficult in this respect.

Update 08/26/2025:
I sent email to Jorge as he mentioned in the reply but no response yet and I am still being charged on my credit card. Extremely disappointed on your customer service @eosfitness.

Customer service is not good at richmond location. I have been paying for towel service for few months and my phone was not scanning properly to pull them out. Everytime I asked one of the front desk person they didn't bother or try to find the root cause. I will soon switch to LA atleast people over there know how to greet their customers.

Very affordable (10$-40$/month depending on membership) and open 24 hours. Gym is very packed even during off-peak hours. I constantly struggled to find a free machine or bench. Weights are all over the place as no one puts them back or unloads the machines. Just cancelled my membership after a year of struggling for parking and equipment. Cancellation was easy as there is no contract and memberships are month to month.

This location operations Manager George is beyond professional an member minded, great customer service experience, he really makes the difference here at the Richmond location. I wish other locations can take notes from how to manage because going to the other ones near downtown aren’t as well received, but Richmond is always a valued customer experience!

Great Gym with Room for Improvement!!
I have generally enjoyed my experience at this gym, appreciating its facilities and the variety of equipment offered. However, I do feel that there are a few areas where improvements could be made. During peak hours, the gym can become quite crowded, which makes it challenging to access the equipment I need for my workout. Additionally, I’ve encountered frequent interruptions from other members asking how many sets I have left, which can be disruptive to my focus and overall experience.
I believe addressing these issues, such as improving equipment availability and encouraging a more considerate atmosphere, would enhance the gym’s environment and make it more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, I still enjoy working out here, but these factors could make a big difference.

This gym is one of the better ones. The facility is relatively new with a nice staff. Today a bit of an accident, I had locked myself out of my locker with my keys inside the locker and the pad lock on the locker. I asked Krish a front desk employee to help me out and he got the bolt cutters, between him and I we tried to cut the lock and we were not able to. On our last attempt I tried to squeeze the bolt cutters and broke the glass door on the locker lol. Luckily the GM Amilio and Krish were present so they saw that it was just an accident. The GM Amilio asked if I was ok and helped clean up the mess. I also spoke with Sam the front desk manager and she reassured that everything will be on that accidents happen. The staff was really understanding and helpful, besides the fact that I was a little embarassed, the truth of the matter is this is a great gym with even better staff!

Gym has very new equipment and different areas and training that caters to what you’re looking for. Price is great, equipment good. But this place is always dirty, always out of paper towels or sanitizer spray. The bathrooms are horrible and besides the gym members wiping the machines down.. I don’t think any workers do it at all. It’s a nice place but not well taken care of. Even the massage chairs are gross. Great area, it’s always busy but there are some peak times that you can get in and out. Management needs to step up and whip this place into shape.

Ever since Jorge Umana has taken over the operations leadership role at EOS Aliana, the drastic improvements are noticeable, Machines are working like they should be, men's sauna has been working consistently and efficently. Months ago, i gave 5 star rating to this gym at Grand parkway.
But now, i had to write about it. I blame myself that i signed up for a four month membership program for a trainer, manager Amelio signed up. I didn’t see a review about him on this same branch. I went through the same worst experience.
Never sign up any program with them please, they have their billing department separated which is another company. You have to call them again and again, each person will provide you wrong information! The billing department will say, you have to pay regardless and will hung up the call. Now, i’ve to wait for my day off and reach them in-person to talk to them.
I appreciate that how amelio signed me up, gave me a discount, i just went there to get the prices. But now it’s very hard to cancel that. I blame myself that why i didn’t see the bad reviews.
Also it’s very clear that these people just care about the money, as soon as you signed up with them. I remember the billing department person wasn’t interested to listen to my problem, he bluntly said, you’ve to pay regardless!!
I want someone from higher management or district manager, to contact me to resolve the issue. I remember one guy ‘Peterson’ used to be on this location, but he’s gone now i guess.

This gym has great potential but it’s always overcrowded. It doesn’t matter what time you come in. Morning, afternoon, evening or even late at night; you will see it packed and you will constantly be asked by people how many sets you have left. Don’t come here if you want a peaceful workout. It’s so terrible what this gym does to people. I went in got a membership and Amelio the PT manager signed me up for a four month contract without my knowledge to get a commission. I got a call from corporate who communicated I was in a contract and said I could not cancel the contract I never even heard about. Reaching Amelio was so hard as he avoided me and when I went in to resolve the issue he treated me with a lot of hostility. He tried to convince me I knew but then realized it wasn’t going to work so he said he was going to cancel it later because I only needed 1 month and it’s all I could afford. He also lied about costs, he said the costs were monthly and they were biweekly. I was able to cancel my membership only 2 weeks after joining, the front desk said Amelio has many issues within the company. 2-3 weeks later I find out my membership is not canceled and this gym takes advantage that they have my account in file and keeps attempting to charge me. The bank stops them all the time.
I spoke with the Rose Rosenberg location a customer specialist by the name of Sasha was very understanding By what had happened she said she was going to put in a request to her manager to cancel my membership. To this day, I don’t know if my membership was canceled. I keep requesting it. I’ve also sent a request in writing and I’m unable to login into the system to cancel the membership myself so I rely on them to cancel my membership and I am still not understanding why they keep charging me every week for $97 to over $100. They change their name and charge my account leaving me on negative. I know the bank will reverse it later but it’s just sad and stressful to be a victim of scam in a gym where you trusted with your bank information, debit card information and thought they were going to be honest. I truly hope someone with time and money is able to Take them to court for what they are doing to people this is not how you do business.

I was genuinely excited to upgrade to the Rejuvenation package at EOS Aliana — it was a major reason I chose this gym! The amenities are a great concept, and I really enjoy the wellness experience they offer.

However, I’ve run into some issues recently. Each time I’ve come to use the Rejuvenation amenities, staff are typically stationed at the front desk rather than in the Rejuvenation area. On two separate occasions, I requested to use the Reset Room, but none of the battery packs were charged. I even tried three different ones with no success, which was frustrating.

I still believe the package has great potential, and I truly hope these issues are resolved soon. I’d love to continue enjoying and recommending this upgrade.

Gym is what it is, but the sauna being down so frequent is pretty bad.

Update - gym is about the same, gets a little crowded at times, but they could make one big improvement. Please staff come up with a process to reset the gym for the morning groups. The amount of dumbbells, missing weights and equipment in weird spots is awful at times. People in general just do not put stuff back and you're never going to fix that, but as the associates that work here that's your responsibility to reset the table for other users at times.

Joined in late March. Equipment is decent, but the gym is constantly overcrowded—sometimes a 20-minute wait for machines. Poor airflow makes the main areas feel hotter than the sauna, especially with fans off in key zones, or none at all. Some machines are oddly limited or feel off in terms of tension and weight accuracy. $22/month feels steep, especially with extras like towel service costing $10 more. It’s fine if you just need a basic gym, but not great for serious or consistent training.

This gym is constantly a mess. Dumbbells, kettlebells, weight plates, boxes — all left scattered around with no one bothering to put anything back. It’s incredibly crowded, and half the time there’s no space to actually work out. People don’t re-rack their weights or return equipment, and it doesn’t seem like staff enforce any basic gym etiquette. It’s frustrating to show up ready to work out and have to leave because the space and equipment just aren’t usable. Disappointing experience overall.

My wife was using this gym for some time, but did decide to cancel her subscription. She has stopped by to cancel it in person no less than 4 times, and we are still getting charged.
I have disputed the charges and gotten charge backs from the CC company 3 times and just disputed the fourth today.
My wife visited the location again and was assured her subscription was cancelled this past Tuesday, but today, Thursday, they charged the card again.

Update in April.... these thieves charged me again. now im on to 5 disputed charges and i dont know how many visits to the store.

Update: I emailed Jorge using the info in his response to my review. No response from him. And I was charged again May 30th. Trash Criminal Company with a liar named Jorge running the place.

My name is Manpreet Singh, and I’ve been a regular member at your location. I’m writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding an incident that occurred on Wednesday 5-21 night around 10:00 PM.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been visiting the gym consistently with two guests without any issues. No staff member mentioned any policy violations or concerns until last night. However, the front desk associate on duty—Hispanic-looking with glasses—stopped me and very rudely told me I couldn’t bring in two guests.

What upset me most was not just the sudden enforcement of a policy I had not been previously informed about, but the way she handled the situation. She was confrontational, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I tried to explain that this has not been an issue in the past two weeks, but she argued with me instead of trying to help resolve the situation calmly.

I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I would appreciate if you could clarify the guest policy and ensure your staff treats members with respect and consistency. I hope this issue is addressed so that no other members face similar treatment in the future.

Honestly, all the reviews that say the staff are unbearable, or outright rude, I just don’t believe. I have had a fine experience with staff and never had an issue.

In fact, I really like this gym. The equipment is usually clean, the areas are kept well, it feels new, and is an inviting place.

What makes me give the 3 star review, is the fact that this is probably the most crowded gym I have ever been at. No matter what time you go (unless it’s between 12-5am) it’s going to be extremely packed. Multiple groups of people on one machine, not a lot of space to do free range weights, and people seem to loiter a lot. There is almost no good time to go to have a comfortable workout where you're not waiting for a machine/spot for half the time you’re there. Some people just don’t have the time to sit and wait around for 2 hours.

Would I recommend it? Yes, I still would. Just understand that it get crowded a lot and you really have to pick and choose when you want to go if you want to try and have a decently paced workout.

Like the classes and all but the women's sauna is the grossest. Please do something about it, there is specifically few members that stay in there for extended periods and make it all stinky and dirty to a point where their sweat always Makes the whole bench wet and leaves puddles on the floor. I joined EOS Fitness with high hopes, drawn in by the warm, welcoming staff during signup. The team was friendly, explaining membership and personal training options with enthusiasm, making me feel valued. My personal trainer was great for seven months, but then abruptly left. To my shock, I was told my membership would be canceled, and I was still charged for PT sessions.

Trying to resolve this was a nightmare. I visited multiple times to meet the manager, but he was always unavailable. Finally, on a Saturday morning, after waiting 20 minutes while the front desk claimed he was with a client, I met him. His rudeness was appalling. He dismissed my questions about remaining sessions or switching trainers, saying, “Give me your number, I’ll take care of it,” and walked away. No resolution, no answers.

The contrast between the initial warmth and the management’s disregard during cancellation is stark. EOS Fitness’s management seems indifferent to customer concerns, leaving me frustrated and overcharged. I’d caution anyone considering this gym—signup smiles fade fast when issues arise.

Update: Cancelation Frustration!

I had to move to another state and not able to get anyone to cancel my personal training and or membership. I have called several times since March and emailed there has been no resolution. Now I am being charged for personal training, that I am there for. It feels as though they wanted my money, but now that I had to make a life change, no longer will deal with me. Every time I call - manager is not here or they just stepped out. So, I am writing here to see if I can get a response.

This makes me sad, as I really did enjoy it there.

I started with EoS - Richmond, TX late November, and I absolutely love it here. The vide and the people is what makes this place great. I did opt for the personal trainer as I had no clue on how to use the machines or routines I should do. Didn't even know what leg, push and pull meant. I have always done fitness classes (which they have), but I wanted to challenge myself to do more. Selecting the training option has been the best I decision I have made in a long time.

My trainer (Jessica) goes above and beyond. Not only do I get to spend time learning about all the different areas of the gyms and exercises, she also checks on me throughout the week. For example, I injured my back (disclaimer - user error) and she contacted me to see how I was doing and asked what I needed. Although, she is knowledge in all things exercises, diet, and stretches. It is her compassion, interest in my health that has made this transition to a "big" gym so easy. From the moment I stepped in I felt welcomed and as I belonged.
